Dang this kid has it good! He’s opening up National Treasures. When I was his age, I got a box of 1987 Topps at my birthday party and ended up having to give a pack out to all my friends and ended up with 2 packs lol. Happy Fathers Day y’all, enjoy!

Did some math on the value of this box , as I did some research on Ebay. The estimate of the whole box added up if sold on Ebay would be around $350.00. Not bad for a $4,000.00 box of cards. The hobby has gotten insane.
It is ridiculous how fools pay astromonical inflated hyped nonsense value ..that's what has kill and will kill the hobby ..when the bubble burst..since alot already are under the water on thur purchases..where only half dozen cards is what hypes the rest of the market prices

You hit it right on- it is about the experiences and memories. It always urks me when Trolls negatively comment on box break videos if the box didn't "make money". I can spend $300 in an hour at the bar with friends, $800 for a Broadway Play, $500 at Dave n Busters (yes. $500.) and tons of other things that can cost alot more, where after a few hours is over, you have NOTHING to show for it. So even the worse of Box Breaks, the experience; anticipation, fun, suspense, and excitement cannot be rivaled as it is happening, especially with an expensive box. And unlike many of the examples I gave where you truly are just left with the memory, with a Box Break, you STILL have the cards- and honestly, a Bust is never really true on any box, because the cards may not be "hits" now, but they can become hits as each day passes. Imagine opening a 2012 BK Prizm Box Break back in 2021 and not getting any rookies- Total BUST! Then 8 years later, the BASE cards; BASE CARDS are worth over $1K

I bought my first ever Court kings hobby box for $600 it had x11 cards instead of 10 including a 3 color Zion Jersey rookie patch 5/25 👌 you have to double up and break X2 more National treasures and chase that Zion Auto 🤪🙏

Aside from the thrill you and your son had on Father's Day, which was COOL! But, financially a BUST-A-ROONY! These are huge risks. Good for you and your son that you can make things like this happen. But man, wow.

Funny I did the same thing for my birthday but my box was a 18/19 nba hoops with my son for 50$ and pulled a luka rookie smh.
If you know what your doing building a market such as a audience and deal with a sports card distributor instead of buying your cards from a 3rdparty that would be the smartest way
