I have AirPods Pro 2 and beats fit pro, and the beats fit pro has better bass and in some situations better sound - I would have thought the AirPods Pro 2 would not be topped by them. It’s Apple’s top of the line EarPods they should have done more. And give us black already! I guess the noise cancelling is better then the beats though.
I was amazed how good both the noise cancelling and adaptive transparency mode work on the new AirPods Pro’s 2. I tested them on a floor in our factory where the equipment is deafening loud where custom earplugs barely cut the noise levels. My AirPods Pro 2’s virtually eliminated the sounds in noise canceling mode. When I put them in transparency mode they literally brought all the loud equipment to safe levels. I could even have a conversation with the person next to me without having to yell.
I have them too and I love it!!! I actually use them in lectures as well with conversation boost enabled so I can hear the professor loud and clear. The battery life is F*cking insane. I put them in my ears at 9:30am today and left them in all day till about 3:30pm. Still had 10% left lol. My entire day at university with one charge. Noise cancelling is beautiful on the train. Best earphones on the market hands down especially if you are an apple fan like me 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Silly maybe not silly question. Are noise canceling headphones actually protecting your hearing like ear plugs? Are they ‘fast’ enough for *sudden* loud events, e.g. a shooting range?
Long time subscriber as I appreciate your reviews- but would like to offer a small piece of feedback (which hopefully you'll see). @@Relentless-zz1cr lol- (like most) I could always use more cash... I'm just hoping that one of their team actually reads this and they up their game on this "these" comments for more clarity. I’ve been amazed at the noise cancellation for the AirPods Pro 2. We had a water leak and the mitigation fans sounded like airplane engines. I work from home and even with a fan next to me, neither I nor my listeners over Zoom heard them. A huge improvement over my gen 1 AirPods Pro!
I use to have the AirPods 3 before upgrading to the AirPods Pro 2. The difference I noticed between the 2 buds was huge, the AirPods Pro 2 fit in my ears way better than the AirPods 3 because of the silicone ear tips, and the sound performance is a big difference. The AirPods Pro 2 are way louder than the AirPods 3 by a lot, there is a noticeable difference between the two. I barely even used my old AirPods 3, but after getting the AirPods Pro 2, I wear them all the time and sometimes bring them around everywhere with me because of how much I love them. For those who have the AirPods 3 and are considering upgrading to the Pro 2, then I heavily recommend doing so as if was one of the best choices I’ve ever made in my life.
the same here... my airpods 3 after 2 years they are losing volume, I'm quite satisfied with the sound, in terms of comfort it's not bad, they remain very firm, even if you have that feeling that they are about to fall, but that's not true... I wanted to upgrade to the pro 2 and I wasn't sure if it was worth it, thanks for your comment, now I'm a little more confident about making the switch.
I do agree especially if I’m wearing them for at least 2-3 hours but of course it depends on your ears. With that, the Pros are more comfortable than any other earbuds that seal your ear canal.
I own both, when my ears get tired of the Pro2 or when I'm not in a loud environment I use the 3. Both are unusable in certain situations but really compliment one another. I wouldn't pick one over the other. Running in the 3 is also significantly more comfortable and you don't need to keep readjusting them as your ears start to sweat, there's also no tunnelling (that conducting thump sound you hear during every step).
@@Adam-pk4xf the 3 fit perfect, never been close to falling out unlike the pro that fit perfectly initially but start slipping out when I start to sweat after a KM or so.
Thank you man! Finally, the answer I was waiting for. I wear gen1 most of the day and I forget they exist, and I was concerned with sealed Pro 2... Based on your answer, in my case, it would fit better 3 gen, and later on, if necessary buy the pro2 for ANC.
@@pixerize-me The air 3 are a bit bigger than the air1/2 but feel more solid in your ear especially when jogging. For me the air 3 disappear after a while and I can't feel them at all, but for some they feel a bit bulkier compared to the 1/2, just fyi. The Pro 2 never disappear, I can always feel them wedged in my ear.
@@DigiDriftZone thank you, I have big ears, so air 3 will fit perfectly. I don't like the Pro 2 feeling of being stuffed all the time. :/ Thank you Air 3 will be perfect, can't wait Christmas to try them :D
I've been on 4 flights in Europe since purchasing the AirPods Pro 2 and the noise cancellation is significantly better on the plane and more comfortable than original AirPods Pro. I don't fell the need to remove them and massage my ear canal like the original version. Transparency mode is better too. I have felt more safe walking around the streets of unfamiliar cites while jamming to my favorite tunes. Although you have to pay the "apple tax" I don't regret my decisions to upgrade. totally worth it.
If you have small ears, I don't recommend the AirPods 3. After just 30 minutes of using them, they will get very uncomfortable, and your ears will start hurting. As the AirPods Pro 2 have silicone tips, these are much more comfortable to use.
I went to the Meshuggah concert last night and wore my AirPods Pro 2 as hearing protection. They worked great. It actually did lower the volume of the show so I could protect my hearing.
Yup, just bought the 2's cause wife was tired of her airpod 1's glitching. So she said she was cool with my air pod pro's so I bought the 2's. Holy moly they are amazing. The sound improvement, specially for movies etc. is amazing. The bass difference is so much better. I tried to listen to the old ones after a few hours of the new ones and they sounded so bad 🤣🤣
Yepp, just picked up mine (Pro 2nd gen.) and they are fantastic. I'm a big user of Status Audio headphones and I'm constantly switching between their Between Micro and Pro. Although these sound great, the Airpods are better because of the "big picture" - connectivity, Siri, transparency mode (tested - great!), Spatial Audio, noise cancellation, and you're right, that bass is incredible, deep and defined.. Yes, they are much more expensive than Between Pros (they range from $100-150 on offers from the manufacturer) but this time I'm happy to fork that out. I'm defo buying another pair to my wife, Christmas saved this year!
Would like to try the new Pros, but i like the simplicity and the comfort with the Airpods 3, they're are my best gadget and I'm extremely happy with them.
I mean one noticeable difference is the pro will stick in your ear with rubber tips. I use the Jabra elite 3 with rubber tips and I prefer the tips cause they don’t fall out. But ears differ
I upgraded from the AirPods 3. They were not comfortable for my ears and I used rubber tips off of Amazon to get them to seal. I’m glad I waited for the AirPods Pro 2 for the different size ear buds. They are a great upgrade from the AirPods 3!
I tried my hardest to not spend $250 on the AirPod Pros but it’s worth it. I’m pleased with the quality and sound that they produce while being as comfortable as they are. The noise cancellation is pretty amazing as well
i lost my airpod 3rd generations a little while back so i will be getting the airpod pro 2’s tomorrow i cannot wait 😭😭im getting on a plane in a couple months so they will compliment my trips this summer really well
I don’t personally like the pros due to the suction of the ear tips. Don’t like that feeling of something stuck in my ears so it doesn’t matter to me if they sound slightly better cause I won’t wear them. Wasted my money on the AirPods Pro 1’s and they just sit in a draw collecting dust. The 3’s however sound incredible with spatial audio and there is very minimal if any sound leakage on Medium High Volume. My husband and I both tested this. Not sure what you tubers are saying when they state their is a lot of sound leakage. If you don’t like ear-tips go with the AirPods third generation as they will not disappoint. Fit is perfect for my M/L ears. If you have tiny ears you may need to skip them.
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I got the AirPods 3 and returned them a week later for the AirPods Pro’s 2. The reason for this is because the AirPods 3 would hurt my ears after not having them in for all that long. I knew the AirPods Pro’s would be more comfortable in my ear because of the silicone tips. It was more so about comfort for me then the sound quality but I’m so happy I got the AirPods Pro’s 2 because not only are they more secure and way more comfortable in my ear but the features are really nice and it was really not a big price difference for me!
I think it’s a preference when it comes to the ears I seen some comments where they preferred the gen 3 because how uncomfortable it got overtime with gen 2 pros
@@parmdhillon3984 I don’t have the Sony earbuds, I was referring to the Sony 1000XM4’s over the ear headphones. They have excellent noise cancelling. I don’t like silicone tips of any kind. So you may want to get the Pro 2’s. I have heard the noise canceling on them is excellent but I’ll stick with my 3’s. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. 😔
@@parmdhillon3984 I just recently bought the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3’s and the noise canceling is on point. My AirPods Third Generation stopped working only would hear static when listening to music and on calls it was static on both ends. I don’t care for the Sony WF1000Xm4’s because they don’t sit flush in your ears. They’re kind of bulky. The Sennheisers more flush in your ears.
Both are great. I have both the 3’s and the Pro 2’s. I have the AirPods Pro 2’s but bought the AirPods 3’s second hand for $99 so when the batteries die in one set I can switch to the other. The AirPods 3 are more comfortable in my ear but the AirPods Pro 2 have way better sound quality.
Glad your saying this for some reason I have this attachment to the 3’s (I just bought the 2 pros) and I feel like the 3’s are betting sounding perhaps from the ANC being a whole new thing for me.
i use the powerwash indoors at my job daily so its loud already but the sound also rings inside while in use. I have the 1st gen AirPods pro and they do an amazing job canceling out the sound. There are days I forget to bring the airpods and when I do, work is noticeably more stressful, not due to the lack of music, but the lack of ANC. Noise pollution is a rising issue in the modern world and the ANC I believe is a must-have. a few months back, I lost one side of my airpods pro and you quickly realize how dependent you are on these when you don't have them.. got the pro 2 today and I had an amazing workout at the gym due to these earbuds. ANC is noticeably better.. it greatly helps with focus since a crowded gym can be quite distracting. From not having airpod pros for months and finally using the 2nd gen today made me realize how much of an impact it has in my life. I know that sounds stupid like damn these are just earbuds, but idk man having these earbuds just makes my day easier and better.
I recently bought the gen 3 today for a Christmas present to myself and my brother the one who took me to the store was blasting his music in his car I connected them to my phone right away and his music was completely blocked out
Lost the right ear bud of AirPod 3, now have to shell for Pro 2. Had a charging issue with my pro 1 before that. AirPod 1 fell off while running and needless to say that it fell into a gutter, unrecoverable! With 3 jinxed experiences, do you recommend any tarot card reader so that I can decide on my next earbuds? 😂
I bought the AirPods 3 because I thought noise cancelling wasn’t as important to me, but very quickly I realised that I hated it and ended up buying the 2 pro instead. Love the noise cancelling and adaptive feature and it’s way better than the 3
I just flew with these today while flying and the last 2 days. I Actually just landed a few hours prior to this comment. The AirPod Pro 2s are much much more improved than the APP1 Gen on airplanes in flight. I was right behind the engine and I can absolutely confirm it was significantly improved ANC compared to over the ear headphones like the Sony Q4s and APP1 for example. I own both and for small buds, these were insanely quiet onboard a loud flight. I highly recommend you upgrade, especially if you frequent noisy environments during your commute. Sitting next to the aircraft engine on a flight I can guarantee you will barely hear the engine, let alone if you're playing music at level 1 or 2 or higher. Transparency mode is flawless while walking in the airport compared to APP1
I can’t stand the silicone tips. Doesn’t matter the actual product or company. They give me a plugged up feeling. As if I’m in a submarine. And I can hear my head whenever there’s a thump. Like walking, or I scrape my hand on the wall. THUMP THUMP THUMP. It’s so loud. And I don’t fly much nor do I work in loud environments so sound cancellation doesn’t matter to me.
I don't get how the case extends battery life. Can you still listen to music when they're in the case or something? It seems like me saying if you have a wall socket next to you the charge lasts forever, but that's not the case if you can't use the item when it's charging.
Ipx4 is only splash resistant which honestly every AirPods ever made is splash resistant. My very first AirPods the first generation were ran through washer and dryer in my pockets and same with my friends and both of ours worked fine for many years after that incident.
The reason why the noise cancellation is better is because it has H2 chip! The AirPods Max will soon be planned obsolescence queue and will sound like crap thanks to a future OTA firmware update.
Out of all of the stuff released by Apple this year, I’m giving the thumbs up to the AirPods Pro 2. They’re my first pair of AirPods I’ve owned and I’m a guy who likes the bone conducting style earphones for how I’m able to listen to podcasts on the go running whilst allowing myself to hear my surroundings. The AirPods Pro do really well in this regard with the transparency mode which impressed me. The noise cancelling was also phenomenal, it’s on a similar level to my Sony XM3 over ear phones which I adore. In a year of releases where Apple seems to have dropped the ball on products with strong value proposition(2020/2021 were great for the Mac for example), the AirPods Pro 2 stand out for me as a product definitely worth buying this year.
I had a case that held the AirTag and it was SO bulky (for Gen 1’s). Not only that but they need to improve the AirTags to have better speakers similar to AirPods Pro 2 case. Because with the tiny single pin sized “speaker” you had to have no noise at all to hear it. The big advantage was being able to find them with the U1 Chip. But with the AirPods Pro 2 the case is not only really loud but the tracking seems a little more accurate.
These new Pros are really tempting me, my current second gen AirPods are nearly two years old and the price is worth it for the incredible sound quality I’d get, the ear tips, the Noise cancellation and the Apple Watch charging. Personally, I think they are way better than the threes, and well worth the stretch if you have the financial means
i just upgraded from the 2nd gen today and mine are about the same age as yours are. you should REALLY consider getting the new ones. i’ve only had them for a day, and they are one of the best earbuds, if not, the best i’ve ever purchased. the sound quality is insanely good, noise cancellation is astonishing, and transparency mode is just so cool
I just can’t do the ear tips, otherwise I’d love to get the Pros. Transparency mode, active noise cancellation and hearing protection is great. But the ear tip is either something you like or just can’t use for any longer period of time.
I used to be like this. But then I took that risk and I’m managing my AirPod pros. They’re not the most comfortable but that music experience is amazing. That’s why I use them. They’re literally the first earphone with ear tips I’ve used.
The tips don’t work for me at all, but I found third party foam ones on Amazon that not only fit much better, but that are so comfortable I can wear them for hours and totally forget I have the AirPods in my ears. Just went to a concert and LOVED them.
unfortunetely i cant stand anything going into my ear canal . the airpods 3 are good enough if i need noise cancellation i think its better to go all the way and get an over the ear headphones.
The reason that the noise canceling is better on the airpods pro 2 compared to the Max is because overear headphones dont seal off as well with small movements
I bought AirPods Pro 2 when first watching one young RUclipsr announcing to buy them for only for better audio quality. I have iPhone 11 Pro 512 gt, almost all of my music is bought with AIFF. I really hear the improvement of the audio quality, it's delightful, smily and what ever positive thing you can think. They give much of enjoyment and practicality.
Man I really torn between these 2. I want the Pro 2 but I know the ear tips will be annoying since my ears get sweaty when using any earbuds with ear tips. I keep convincing myself that they’ll be different than other earbuds but if I get sweaty ears with them I’m gonna hate myself. In the other hand I can get the AirPods 3 with no sweaty ears but I’m gonna miss a lot of the features from the Pro 2. I need help lol
I’m going for the air pods 3 I only had the air pods 1 gens & I currently lost one of my headphones from the black beats pro & I just don’t like the gum tip either always losing them & bugs my ear so the air pods 3 would fit me .
@@christianmendoza8857 I never had an AirPods before. How comfortable are they when wearing them for log periods? I can’t convince myself to get the Pro 2 coz I’m 90% sure I will get sweaty ears which is so annoying and the start to slip out of my ears.
Solid review thanks. Love my first gen AirPods Pro, use them all the time, but they need replaced. Seems the 2 has an improved design. Will plan on them soon!
Was distracted so idk if it was touched on. The reason I stick with older style air pods is because you can hear around them. Like sure if I want to be isolated I’d prefer the pros, but if I need to be aware of my surroundings, having my ears plugged prevents that. I can’t be at work, on a call or whatever and not hear the outside world.
All I’ve had is AirPod Pro 1st gen Got the AirPod Pro 2 and thought they sounded great initially, but the longer I listened the less amazed I felt Gonna switch back and forth this weekend when I have more time to compare again I’ll have to mow with them this weekend too
What I like with AirPods Pro 2 is the silicone tips. Making them fit better in my ear and comfortable. I also like the background noises. Unlike the AirPods 3. I wake up with the AirPods out and my ears hurting, but with the AirPods Pro 2 when I wake up, It’s still in my ear and my ears feel good still because of the silicone tips.
just ordered my airpods pro 2 today. cannot wait to received them this week and see how good they are. i never had any good earphones not even bluetooth ones sooo. im excited
I got the AirPods Pro 2’s in a couple days ago and these are miles better than the OG AirPods Pro. I got them with my Target card, so I saved 5% off immediately. Also, I’m selling my old pair to recoup some of the cost. I might have to try the memory foam tips one day to compare to the original tips.
I can't see the difference between 30$ and 150$ audio quality, but he can notice it with past and current 250$ airpods.. You all must be having perfect hearing.
When apple drops the price on an old product, they still make profit but that’s the price it could have always sold for, slightly better versions cost them a tiny fraction more yet they can charge 10 or more times the price of what they add to them. The pro in the name stands for PROFit.
I used to live in the AirPod pros, and I will probably live in the AirPod pros 2, but the one massive frustrating thing about them, is no one can ever hear me on the phone, so I have to switch to using the phone traditionally.
Tough to know which air pod you are describing some times. Referring to "this one" or "these" is more vague than verbally specifying, "the pro 2" or "the 3."
Yeah, soon as I brought mine home from Target and put them on My jaw about dropped as I put a movie on with my pro 1's then rewound to same spot and put 2's in for first listen and was blown away.
@@yearight6294 I was at a store in the UK and they had a pair you can try and they changed and disinfected the tips - so they are hygienic. I wasn’t sure I would be able to do it, but felt happy to try and it really was an instant but as soon as they put the noise cancelling on. Good luck 👍

I have been using the wire earphones ever since then because I never need to worry about the battery running out. Now I have to purchase new airpods because I work remote and have meetings frequently and want to find an airpods that have great mic quality. Pro 2s are superior in every way maybe besides comfortability and fit. I like the fit but a lot of people complain. The sound is way better and battery is better I believe.
Thank You, I have been looking at upgrading but I was struggling on whether or not they were worth it. This helped answer lots of questions, so thank you very much!
I had the AirPods 3 for about a week. First I am still not sure if my next phone will be IOS or Android. So I tried the AirPods 3 on my Note 8 and the volume was so low and hardly hearable. Secondly, Costco advertised they were going to put the AirPods Pro on safe for $179 and I have bought the AirPods 3 for $175! I took the AP3 back and bought the AP Pro. The Pros sounded so much better on my Iphone and on my Note 8. I love them they are great. I have been thinking of updating to the APPro 2 based on reviews like your. Thanks for the reveiw.
@MaxTechOfficial - 2:51 - when mowing your lawn it is safe to turn noise control off while mowing your lawn so that way you can hear both the lawnmower and your music so you can listen and make sure the machine is operating properly.
The AirPods Pro 2 are hands down my favorite earbuds ever. Everything can controlled directly from the stems. They sound great, super comfortable, great call quality.
3s >>> Pro 2s I hate silicon ear tips. shit hurts my ears after extended use and they fall out more often. I hope apple makes more OS airpods in the future.
i tried the airpods pro 2 going from my original airpods pro and honestly, i didn't like them as much. The bass kicked a bit harder (which is a negative in my opinion) but that was all I could tell. definitely not super worth it to upgrade
5:48 One of the brothers can be heard saying “Are You Sure?” and I thought it was my husband in the other room 😅 while listening on my AirPods 3rd gen 😂!
Great video it is tempting I got the 3rd gen AirPods it’s annoying to keep having to ask seri to turn the volume up so an option on the side of the bud is nice when I have the music loud on gen 3 I can’t hear anything anyway so could argue this is noise cancelling! The features sound interesting on the new pros and when you say the sound quality is amazing again makes me want to try but the only thing putting me off is the silicone tips and fit I used once before silicone tips and I dident like them and they kept falling out so I’m worried I’d have that problem. The current gen 3s fit perfectly and stay in your ears without any issue. If they did the pros without the silicone tip and made the fit the same as the 3rd gens I’d go for the upgrade.
Thank you so much this actually helped me bc in the video he talks a lot about the noise cancellation but I taught to myself I would just put my music higher too this really helped
I have the first gen pros, love every feature except they fail on the most important thing for me. They slip off even at the biggest plastic tip size and after about an hour or so they irritate my ear ( sooner if I’m sweating ). I had bought my mom some 3rd generation AirPods and when I tried them on they fit like a glove. I’m actually going to sell my pros to my friend since I didn’t even use them as much because of those reasons and I’m going to buy some 3rd gens.
I just accidentally purchased the AirPods 3rd generation thinking they were somehow better than any of the pro models because its a “3rd generation” 🤬 wtf
Had Airpods 3 for a year. Worst experience ever. Had to change one airpod withing warranty period, and now it's not working again. My friend has the same problem. The other thing, they're just simple ear pods. Nothing special about them and, of course, they don't come cheap. Pro version at least carries some cool features.

the same here... my airpods 3 after 2 years they are losing volume, I'm quite satisfied with the sound, in terms of comfort it's not bad, they remain very firm, even if you have that feeling that they are about to fall, but that's not true... I wanted to upgrade to the pro 2 and I wasn't sure if it was worth it, thanks for your comment, now I'm a little more confident about making the switch.
@@FabGH11 yeah, the AirPods 3 had such a bad fit for my ears and couldn’t even wear them properly
That’s all I needed to know
I personally prefer the AirPods 3 over the AirPods Pro because they are way more comfortable to me and stay in my ears way better.
I do agree especially if I’m wearing them for at least 2-3 hours but of course it depends on your ears. With that, the Pros are more comfortable than any other earbuds that seal your ear canal.
I do find this as well as the pro just don’t seem to want to stay in my ears all that well
also me 👍🏻
Same .
I’ve found I can’t tolerate the pros because of the sealing in the ear canal. My ears canals get itchy
I have question, when you are running with AirPods 3, is the AirPods fit in the ear nicely or it will easily came out from your ears?
The Pro 2 never disappear, I can always feel them wedged in my ear.
@@DigiDriftZone thank you, I have big ears, so air 3 will fit perfectly. I don't like the Pro 2 feeling of being stuffed all the time. :/

@@mikaelbiilmann6826 they do it with all products, or they make certain products un eligible for newer updates so you have to update

This the type of video I needed to see! It’s easy when AirPods Pro 1 against the 2s but for those who have the AirPods 3 this video is needed 🙏🏽
The audio quality on the pros 2 are really good. I mean the bass actually hits . Haven’t tried the originals but I’m very happy with my first AirPods
🐖
The AirPods 3 works well now with the iOS 16 isolation mode. So it’s almost like noise cancelling built in
I got the AirPods 3 and returned them a week later for the AirPods Pro’s 2.
@@zuezsz yeah exactly. Before this comment I read about 4 others saying the AirPods 3 are more comfortable.

This is true lmao I just got em and I feel like I’m in a sub 😂😂
Dude you're an excellent reviewer. Answered questions everyone has in their head & thoughtful tips. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!
Which one did you go for?
I just upgraded a week ago. I had the first generation for two years and these definitely sound a little better plus have longer battery life.
Just want to ask is the aipords 3rd gen will make ur ear pain ? Cause it doesn’t have rubber on it. Not sure which one to take
Airpods 3rd gen is the most comfortable one imho.

When apple drops the price on an old product, they still make profit but that’s the price it could have always sold for, slightly better versions cost them a tiny fraction more yet they can charge 10 or more times the price of what they add to them. The pro in the name stands for PROFit.

7:10 I have no idea how did u hear the 15 hz sound when human ear is capable of hearing only 20-20000 hz
