I've never used AirPods or any premium earbuds because of my poor hearing. Now that Apple has added a "hearing aid" function to the Pros I'm really interested. Thanks for the review.
You can adjust the sound/tone in accessibility settings for different types of hearing loss. I have loss of high frequencies and I can just boost the hell out of high frequencies and it basically sounds normal to me.
Yep, no one would deny that the pros are better, it’s just that if they don’t fit your ears, it doesn’t matter how many features they have or what sound quality they put out. Wearing them is literally a painful experience for those people (or they just fall out).
yeah, I should of gone the 4's. I bought the foam tips which made it better to wear, I also trimmed the ends of the foam down so they don't push against the inside of my ear. Whilst they are a heap more comfortable I still don't like the muffled feeling of having the Pro's in. The most comfortable are the free wired ones they used to supply with the Iphone.
I’ve had the original AirPods Pro and the USBC AirPods Pro 2, the difference between them is insane. 🤯 Got my dad some for father’s day because his old ones had stopped working for phone calls and he loves them just as much as I do if not more. You can’t go wrong with them as a gift
I have used AirPods Pro since the day of release of 1st generation. Honestly - they have been very comfortable since day 1. Frequently forget that I wear them. But, I have soft ears which might help.
I've always struggled with in ear-canal earphones. Both rubber tipped and memory foam ones. I get ear fatigue faster, and if I use them for a prolonged time, I get a headache/migraine, which can last for hours after having taken the earphones off.
I agree that airpod pro 2s are the best earbuds especially when it comes to noise cancelation and passthrough even when i sold literally all my apple products macbook, apple watch, ipad and iphone i still kept my airpods because they are that good
Yeh, the silicon tips fit me well but they are not comfortable for long periods, for exercise (when your ears sweat) or for quickly putting them on/ taking them off. So I bought the 4 ANC and they are very comfy. I wouldn’t trade the Pro2 for them but I love having both for different things.
ever tried memory foam tips on airpods pro 2 before? That's a game changer and elevates the already great sound quality and anc of these buds greatly! Even now the 4`s are not coming close to the Pro 2, but with the memory foam tips they literally stand no chance..
@@NineDiamont I tried a few different sets of foam tips and they were awful, the opening is quite wide on the speakers, so you feel the plastic the foam sits on and they also didn't last very long. It's possible the 2 different products I tried are no good, but compressing and inserting the foam, waiting for it to expand, etc cannot possibly compare to just instantly resting earbuds in your ear for immediate comfort... I love and use my Pro2 when I want sound isolation and that's only achievable by creating a seal, but they don't come close for comfort vs the 4 with ANC.
Anecdotal: But if you HATE the silicon or foam tips or just hate the thought of tips in general, I have my airpods 4 and the pro 2's and I'm enjoying the Airpod 4's more because of that reason. I think the sound quality is so minimally better in the pros, and the ANC is definitely a bit better due to the seal but I mowed the lawn yesterday with them both and I genuinely could not tell much of a difference. For the price difference, the Airpods 4 are a much better choice if you hate the tips. BUT I'm also one of those people that the airpods fit my ear perfectly. My wife says she could never wear airpods due to her ear holes being too small.
Conversation awareness and conversation boost are two different things. The former just lower music volume when you start talking while the latter increases the voice of the person speaking in front of you. Only AirPod Pro 2 has the conversation boost feature. Conversation awareness switch is in AirPod settings while conversation boost option sits in the accessibility settings.
My girlfriend had 2 pairs of airpods pro, all 4 buds got blown out fairly quick. I’ve had a pair of beats studio buds for 4 years, never had any issues and still sound like new. I just bought her a pair and they sound exactly the same as mine. No sound quality loss
I have the air pods pro2, and I love them. People are saying how “gross” the silicone tips are, but I clean them daily, so they stay sanitary. I can’t justify getting the next generation at this time. I will keep ,AirPods pro 2. ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”
The ANC on the AirPods 4 is significantly better than I thought possible without a solid seal like the AirPods Pro 2. I bought the 4s to try because they fit better than the Pro 2s but I didn’t expect them to be this good sounding. I’m impressed.
For me the 4 ANC is for me. The pro gives me an uncomfortable experience due to pressure build up and causing my ears to itch after removing. The 4 eliminates that and allows me to wear it longer in the day.
Got the Pro 2s and got my partner the 4s recently. The new AirPod 4s during phone calls sounds very clear and the mic is great, it’s better than my Pro 2s actually. But when it comes to music, pro 2 is by far way better and the in ear just makes it so much better imo. (Not everyone can wear the pro 2 long due to design). It’s perfect for my ears
I bought the Pro2 which I love but they did not replace my AirPods 2 which are way more comfortable and easy to put on/off, I bought the 3 when those died and now the 4 with anc, which are incredible. I use the pro2 maybe 30% of my time when I am somewhere loud and don’t mind shoving the silicon tips in my ear. I think ideally you want both. And the max for longer listening sessions 😂
Just bought the AirPods Pro 2 a week ago, and I’m so glad I got them! They are very comfortable and sound great! I have tried many headphones and these are the best!!
I initially purchased the AirPods 4 solely because I was certain that if I had bought the Pro 2s first, I would never have ended up buying the 4s, which I prefer due to their compact case.
Like you, non-Pro versions of AirPods never would fit in my ears so when the Pros first came out, they were a revelation for me. I use my Gen2 Pros (original Lightning version) daily and concur on all your points. I've gone so far as to say with friends that I think the AirPod Pro 2 may just be the very best value product Apple currently sells. Also, being a Canuck, and a fair bit older than you, I'm looking forward to when the augmented "hearing aid" capability becomes available here and testing it out. Great work.
Man, I bought the Airpod Pro 2’s yesterday again. And I had no idea about Adaptive audio, until your video. You broke it all down so good, glad to have seen your video I'm now subscribed to your channel, and I'm a fan
I’m using the Beats Fit Pros and really like the sound signature and the ANC (for me) works well enough BUT I’ve noticed an occasional “hiccup” in the sound. I like them so much, I considered buying another pair but aside from the wireless charging, am I really getting that much more out of the AirPods Pro 2 over this particular set of Beats since they’re essentially the same company?
I wish that I could wear AirPods Pro... 😢 The fact that they fit so deep into my ear is a deal-breaker for me, I simply can't handle that extreme discomfort I experienced when tried both AirPods Pro 1st generation and 2nd. Friends have been talking all the time about how amazing AirPods Pro are, it's embarrassing that I can't wear them...
I bought the airpods 4 anc today and i have got to say that the noise cancellation isn't as good as on the airpods pro 2 i could still here people talking in the background whereas airpods pro 2 blocks all of that out
I’m one of those weirdos who just love the AirPods Max (over ear is my preference), and am disappointed that the priciest option amongst the bunch is the seemingly least considered by Apple. I picked mine up on sale a few years back, but I’m not sure how anyone justified a full-price purchase of these cans at present?
I feel you. All I can say is that it seems they're delaying because they want the refresh to be Bluetooth 5.4 with LOSSLESS bluetooth codecs and aren't quite there yet. For those who share this disappointment, in 2024 the best Bluetooth over-ear headphones are the Focal Bathys. So don't feel forced into AirPods Max, when you have true audiophile excellence as an option.
I think you should wait for airpods 3pro in 2025 instead now airpods 4 is the best option because it quality is good then airpods 3 and it also fit well in your ear but if you really love silicone tip just buy airpords pro2
I think it really depends on individual ear and preferences. The Pros have a snug fit and thus better noise cancellation. Find-My is also essential for me.
There is zero confirmation of AirPods Pro 3 release and certainly not any credible rumour of them giving up on the best feature which is custom-sized silicone tips which lock in superior noise cancellation and fitment. What we do have confirmation of is a commitment to brand new upgrades to AirPods Pro 2 which means it's their flagship for the foreseeable future. With the sale prices you can get on AirPods Pro 2, it's practically a no-brainer in my opinion.
Airpods pro 2 are honestly so good that waiting another 2 years doesn't seem worth it. I bought the 4's because i like the way they fit but not buying either and waiting for the 3's doesn't make much sense
Oh gosh, elevate noises like honking? Definitely won't work well if you travel e.g. to Southeast Asia, haha. In some places they are constantly honking, because for some reason that's simply how drivers communicate basically everything.
no credible source exists for this at all, Apple doubled down on the Pro 2s with fresh firmware upgrades coming to them, that means they're the flagships for the foreseeable future
The AirPods 4 with ANC at the current price point (nearly identical to AirPods Pro 2 on Amazon) is a rip off. I believe Apple should have 2 models the Standard and the Pro. Apple products line up is getting out of hand too many similar products with slightly less or more specs - just to make you pay more for same stuff!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

You can buy memory foam tips for them, just so you know. But if it's painful to wear, you're probably wearing a too-large tip size.
