Yeah it’s unfortunate, my biggest issue with 343 is that the always seem to make half a game good and then the other half is trash, for example halo 5 multiplayer was really fun (for me) but the campaign sucked, halo infinite, they got the art style correct, the core gameplay is good, but it lacks content, always half the game missing lol

Wow weird timing, i grew up on 2000s halo, and just realised yesterday: the most recent games i played and enjoyed were the witcher 3 and sonic frontiers. Western AAA gaming really is dead. Indie devs, eastern Europe and japan are really the only ones who make anything decent anymore
This is a very based and logical take. I noticed this yesterday on Steam under Halo Infinite, and I was in shock really. It has me wondering what kind of other prides they could come up with to capitalize on it. We already know companies do it with the LGBTQ+ Pride. It's disgusting. These companies don't actually care about the pride, they care about the revenue and interest that comes from it. This reminds me of the same thing that happened with Tractor Supply over in the U.S. They made a statement and basically said they're getting rid of their DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), roles and goals, and that they're not going to sponsor non-business activities like pride festivals and voting campaigns. People are "boycotting" the company now because of it, but the people doing that aren't looking at the full picture. I actually commend that company for it, because with the DEI stuff, yes on paper it seems good, but like you said in the video, labeling people under a specific group/title is a form of segregating, and it's not cool. Just look at everyone as simply people, because at the end of the day, that's what we are. We're all people and we all deserve to be treated like such. You have earned yourself a subscriber.
Great take, I think in society disabled people should be recognised in some areas, for example disabled parking should be a thing, toilets etc , because disabled people struggle physically,mentally, but the way society is going about it nowadays is just wrong, it’s blatant segregation, it’s propagating victim mentality, and an oppressor vs oppressed mentality. And LGBT+ people, I have nothing against them as I said in my other video, but they’re not special, and in my opinion they shouldn’t be proud because of a sexuality, they should be proud about significant achievements in their lives. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm on the autism spectrum and when I saw the Disability Pride news post on Steam I found it very distasteful. I can understand promoting disability awareness but nothing about my disability makes me feel prideful. It's also telling how they disabled comments on the news post in question.

What you should be asking for, is community server support, modding and QoL changes. We need auto balance, we need community map acceptance into official modes like EVERY source game ever made. When they use buzz terms like "Pride" (especially when they associate it with a rainbow), they are trying to tug on emotional heartstrings in order to extract money. Halo 1-Reach never used this tactic. Neither did any game companies back when gaming was in its prime. They relied on making a good game to bring in money. Current AAA games are lazy (just watch any Crowbcat video for context) and rely on being woke and pandering to communities in order to make money with their broken and unfinished games. I have narcolepsy type 2. I can tell you with my whole heart, its not that deep. The "proud" aspect is because its literally the opposite of being ashamed. Theres a lot of reasons to be negative but this ain't one
I feel like there may be a better word to use than proud, can’t think of one though.

@ZHibiki 343 doesn't care about your disability. They don't care about minorities. They don't care about your sexual orientation. They are a company that exists to make money. When they use buzz terms like "Pride" (especially when they associate it with a rainbow), they are trying to tug on emotional heartstrings in order to extract money. Halo 1-Reach never used this tactic. Neither did any game companies back when gaming was in its prime. They relied on making a good game to bring in money.
Current AAA games are lazy (just watch any Crowbcat video for context) and rely on being woke and pandering to communities in order to make money with their broken and unfinished games. It is that deep, you just aren't seeing it

@@tweatificationrecognition gives of the sense that when should be credited, at least that’s the way I see it, honestly best word I can think of is awareness, be aware of disabled people, they may need assistance, instead of just telling people to proud because they got a disability lol
But then again, corporations using it is just dumb in my opinion, at least if they’re doing it for the public, if it’s privatised to help staff then I don’t too much of an issue with it.
I just don’t like big corporations attempting to pander.
