It's interesting that in the construction "do more/less of something", in English, we put the "more/less" with the "something", but in Chinese, "more/less" goes with the "do". 少用一次性用品 (NOT 用少一次性用品) = use less disposable articles 多做运动 (NOT 做多运动) = do more exercise 多用公共交通 (NOT 用多公共交通) = use more public transportation 多喝水 (NOT 喝多水) = drink more water 少吃肉 (NOT 吃少肉) = eat less meat 多喝茶 (NOT 喝多茶) = drink more tea 少用塑料 (NOT 用少塑料) = use less plastic 少吃零食 (NOT 吃少零食) = eat less snacks
