Minato Namikaze was the Fourth Hokage, and back during the time of the original series, he was hyped up to be the strongest Hokage, with the Third Hokage taking on the Edo Tensei Hashirama and Tobirama with confidence, yet nearly peeing himself at the sight of the Fourth Hokage’s casket. Minato’s character would see some development thereafter that reversed that characterization to the point that he was perhaps the weakest of all Kage save maybe Kakashi. Minato was still an impressive warrior though, and it was that impressiveness that made him worthy of the Title of Hokage. But what may surprise some fans is the fact that he actually just barely became Hokage at all. Minato was not the only person that was considered to become Hokage, and another was in the running. That person was the chief of the Uchiha Clan at the time, Fugaku Uchiha. The Uchiha had felt that they were not being fairly represented by the government and so proposed to make Fugaku the next Hokage so that they might have a little time in the sun. The Uchiha felt that there was a bias against them in the government, and to a point, they were right. Many of the older Elders who had been around during the founding of the village knew Madara and the long history of feuding between the Uchiha and Senju clans. And Danzo was one of them. Danzo not only saw the Uchiha as a threat, but also something to be exploited, used, and thrown away on a whim. In fact, Danzo could be credited as one of the great antagonists of Naruto, as without his influence, Itachi never would have had to destroy the Uchiha Clan, and Sasuke would never have been overtaken with grief. But I am getting way ahead of myself. The point is, Fugaku Uchiha nearly became the Fourth Hokage, but was eventually beaten out by Minato. This actually started the spiral towards revolution within the Uchiha as they believed it was bias that kept Fugaku from the seat. But let’s stop for a moment and wonder. What if Fugaku became Hokage instead?

5:36 I think you’re forgetting one major thing that happened during the battle. Minato marked the masked man there. Meaning Minato (and whoever else), could teleport to him at any time.
That's what haunting about that jutsu. Once you're marked Tobirama or Minato can be there in an instant and end you. When you eating breakfast they can be there. When you on an evening stroll they can be there. When you sleeping snug......they can be there.

You can also brand people with the seal to save them. If they are ever in need of help, you can teleport to them quickly.
that's what made them so powerful. also I think amagi just forgot abt minato marking the masked man. or he just wanted to make the story more interesting instead of saying oh ye minato got everyone to jump him. gg no re not even close

Also, I feel like the Leaf Village could find Tsunade and ask her to heal Itachi. She is the best medic in all of Naruto, and so I feel like she'd definitely be able to cure him, or at least give him medicine to stop it from getting worse. Plus, he wouldn't be using the Mangekyo as often in his timeline (he might not even have it), so his general health should be better right? He should definitely have more time than in canon.
I'm also not sure how Obito would be able to escape with Kushina in the second half of the story. Minato definitely has a mark on her (he'd be very stupid not to), and the only reason he wasn't able to go directly to help her in the main timeline was because he was taking care of Naruto, which he wouldn't have to do if Naruto is a fully fledged Shinobi. Come to think of it, wouldn't Naruto also likely have a mark on her? Just in case of emergencies.

That's a Interesting question, If Fugaku became Hokage, I'm sure there would be a bit more Tension against the Uchiha due to The Nine tailed Incident because it was Manipulated with The Sharingan, But you were right as Fugaku wouldnt know who as no one in the clan currently wouldn't have the Mangekyou to do so, except Fugaku himself.

I was under the impression that Mangekyos were relatively rare among the uchiha. Certainly Itachi seems to think so when he tells Sasuke he thinks he’s one of the few who can achieve it like he did
Any uchiha can achieve mangekyo they just need to go through a traumatic event
What Uchiha in the clan would admit to killing a friend to achieve it? (At the time, the thought that was the requirement)
this is was believed by the uchihas however the truth is many could awaken it due to the 3rd great shinobi war when witnessing thise close to them die we just couldnt witness them since tobi killed them. Also Itachi only said that to make sasuke crave it in order to carry out revenge

I haven't watched the full video yet but, wouldn't Minato be able to teleport to Obito? Along with backup, since he has a flying raijin mark on him, which doesn't disappear. If he takes backup they'd definitely be able to take down/capture Obito. Heck, I reckon he could do it on his own.

If Minato no longer has to worry about the 9 tails and his wife he would just chase down Obito and kill him. Minato killed a 1000 ninja in one battle he is not a man that hesitates to take a life. The whole Kaguya plot stops at that point. I also wonder if the other Otsutsuki come since they might have been drawn by the tree/kaguyas return. Otherwise what are the chances that they just happened to show up within a few decades of Kaguya and the tree being awoken after being missing for 1000s of years.
@@benry007 Fr. Also, remember when they we’re all trying to get to Obito during the war? Minato legit just Teleports to him and (no questions asked), fatally wounded him. Only reason Obito survived was because of the Ten Tails.
Flying Raijin does not disappear immediately after use but gradually fades away over time. The exact duration of the mark's visibility is not specified in the series, but it typically lasts for a few minutes before disappearing completely.

I should mention that a lot of evidence seems to point to the fact that kages can choose their successors. A minor plot point about people being weary of Hiruzen choosing Orochimaru instead of Minato was that it was strongly implied that they had no recourse if he didn't change his mind. We see glimpses of this in other countries in the novels too. So the daimyo and the elders only had authority to reject a candidate when a prior successor was not available.

7:00 i think that Naruto would not have issues in school. As far as i recall he had some problems with using chakra due to the seal that was placed on him both by his mom and later by Orochimaru, and which was corrected by Jiraya. Not sure would that affect his written tests, but given that he now had a loving familly and dint need to do stuff to het some recognition that he craved i would bet he would be actually not a bad student.
Remember Amagi has some sort of bias against naruto so he’s gonna throw fact out the window regarding his actual potential and say it’s just dumb luck

That isn’t how the rinnegan works. It’a obtained by becoming the 10 tails jinchuriki, having a sharangan and being given six paths chakra, or getting both Indra and ashuras chakra or one of their reincarnations chakra. You can also just get lucky and have someone who already has it give it to you for some reason.
If you mix Uchiha and Senju blood you get six paths blood, and I don’t even need to explain how the rinnegan is connected to the six paths.
There’s several ways. It existed before the ten tails.
Since Hagoromo had the rinnegan from having both half’s. Hagoromo had it before he made the tailed beasts because he had both the sun and the moon paths of the sage of 6 paths.

Fugaku has, in fact, no feats shown, so he's underrated heavily, but he's actually on the same tier as minato, imho.
Minato and Fukagu are the only shinobi stated to have been marked with a no-engagement order by konoha's enemies during the great shinobi war.
We know why the "yellow flash" was so feared, but we don't know the specifics behind why fukagu was just as feared; we only know that his nickname was "wicked eye" fukagu
My personal theory is that fugaku's mastery of the sharingan was so proficient that when he was present on battlefields, he was able to trick his enemies to strike and kill each other, thereby causing major friendly fire and chaos among the enemy ranks.
So, just as minato by himself can take out a battalion with just his teleportion jutsu, fugaku would also be able to deal with an entire battalion by himself, albeit through different means. The more surrounded by the enemy fugaku is, the more pawns he would have to use as he deemed fit.
This mastery of the sharingan would not only make fugaku's enemies hesitate to engage him but also make fukagu infamous, and even make his presence ominous or "wicked" as he would essentially be making his foes kill their own long time comrades and companions. (This would also make fukagu stand out even more as an uchiha since jumping/ganging up on an individual is one of the stragedies specifically used against the uchiha and their sharingan.)
Therefore, while Minato is out there killing his enemies quickly and merciful, fukagu is causing much heartbreak/anguish as he is defeating his enemies.
This style of fighting of fukagu's would cause fear not just in his enemies but even in his own konoha allies as they would witness the mayhem fugaku, and by extension, the uchiha clan as well, is capable of creating. Adding to the fear that konoha already felt against the uchiha and their sharingan.
But that's just my headcanon of why he was called wicked eye fugaku.
Also, it makes more narrative and thematic coherence if the fathers of sasuke and Naruto respectively were on the same tier, but while Minato was praised and accepted by konoha, fukagu instead was feared and shunned.
They're also each called generational genuis, meaning talent like theirs only appear once every generation or so. They're also considered sannin level, but tbh they're both above sannin.
In all likelihood, a battle between these two would lead to a double ko or draw.

In an OVA but it’s not canon nor is it compatible also if it was prohibited then sasuke would’ve been disqualified the moment he made it to the tower since the curse mark is essentially senjutsu
