A while back, I made a video that ended up a lot sadder than I wanted it to be. And because of that absolute emotional upheaval, I feel like writing some true fluff. And what better way to write fluff than to give Itachi some of the things he was denied in canon. What if Itachi never got sick? What if Itachi never had to kill his clan? What if Shisui survived? Itachi was a tragic character written to prove a point about the sacrifices people need to make for freedom. Some people have to do things that make them not sleep well at night just so YOU CAN sleep well. But uh… That’s a real bummer, and I think Itachi deserves a break after everything that’s happened. Let’s see a world where he is given every opportunity. Let’s see if he still chooses to be selfless and give it all up for others.

Naruto wouldn’t be the same without a character like Itachi.
That's my favorite part about the Imagi. There are so many new possibilities with them all being mostly plausible.

The sad thing about this is it could've happened to Itachi if Danzo haven't manipulate things behind the scene and Hurizen wasn't a pushover and have a Uchiha have some say.
Ok.
Hiruzen himself proved to be a failure of a Hokage. His tenure was tainted with nothing but domestic blood from so many sources because he never did his job and just sat in his office with his thumb up his ass.
He promised Minato to take care of Naruto and he utterly failed at that. He allowed the Hyūga affair to happen and turned a blind eye to it. He greenlit the Uchiha Massacre.
Hiruzen was never fit to be Hokage because he didn't have the grit to be one.
If Itachi is happy, I'm happy.

Fugaku is such an underrated character, he was dealing with the burden Itachi dealt with before killing the clan for far longer than itachi did.
Itachi is my favorite character and does in fact deserve a break. Thank you for this video, I cant wait forpart 2 and any more Itachi-centric content that you make.
