I am actually flying back to the US for the holidays next week. I still have more videos from Thailand, plus some informational ones I will be putting out.
I also have some solo hiking trips planned while I am back in the US.

Hi Julia, thanks for sharing such a secrene beautiful setting to do a retreat. I would not have a problem with the meditation but would struggle with the dorm accommodation and those beds 😊

They do have private accommodations, but they are not guaranteed and are first come first serve. I was offered one, but I only had two days left and decided to just stay put. The dorm was not as bad as I thought because hardly anybody is talking or making any noise. 😂
Also, when I return, I am taking something to add some more padding for sure. I put quite a few of my clothes under me for extra fluff.

@juliastimeout Be careful with the food when u go back to the Us.
Many American travelers get sick powerless and constipated and bloated for week's after they go Home.

@@gmm5550 I am only eating fruits and veggies for the most part. I am nervous and very aware about being essentially poisoned when I am back in the US.
Only temporary though I do believe.

Fascinating. Thanks for sharing. Take your trail mattress back with you. Can’t imagine sleeping. I would have a hard time with the silence. I would want to go to detox my body and be barefoot!!
2023 I was doing a section of the AT near Grayson Highlands and met a monk thru hiking the AT. He was very interesting. I don’t know much about monks and thought they were confined to monasteries.

It’s funny you say that because here in Thailand they are everywhere. That is so interesting that he was hiking the AT. They actually spend a lot of time walking through the jungles here to get from one place to another. Not always, but sometimes.
