Ron Grainer / Frank D'Rone "My Girl At The Dance" (rare 1966 cover)

The A-side of a very rare UK-only single (CBS 202071) featuring the American jazz singer Frank D'Rone. The song was recorded in London in March 1966 and it received this release a month later. This cover version has never appeared on LP or CD and it has never been issued outside the UK on any format.
The song is a cover of a number from the 1966 UK stage musical 'On The Level'. The music is by Ron Grainer (Dr Who, The Prisoner) and the lyrics are by the playwright Ronald Millar.
