Best reverb pedal ever in a long time wow have the oceans eleven too amazing they slay any new reverbs i have heard come out wow electro harmonix nailed it.
it doesn't sound as good as EHX's Cathedral reverb, much less better. Not what I was expecting. EHX ain't up there with GFI Systems, Meris, and Eventide for reverbs, but certainly a better choice.
@@Jason75913 I would be willing to bet that if you recorded a reverb heavy album, and switched it up between an Ocean's 12, and Eventide, and a Strymon, nobody would be able to tell one from an another.
@@jeffc4862 depends on the playback system and how well captured the reverbs were, hi-fi stuff like the Eventide Space and Strymons will sound noticeably different from Hall of Fame 2 and Oceans 12, but anyway, I've tinkered more with my Oceans 12 and it is quite good, just not "instant-gratification" like the Cathedral and most reverbs
@Andrew London I have a friend who still performs with a Korg 01/W, and he bought an Oceans 12 to use for Ambient recording, and performances, and he loves it (uses two Powered Mackies).
I love the eerie sounds. This probably costs more than the 11 I assume. $150 is my budget but if it's awesome, maybe $200 lol. Man so many damn options
There aren't many dual reverbs available. And the ones available (Boss RV500 and the Source Audio Ventris) cost up to twice as much as this pedal. Imho this pedal has a much more useable interface at that. The question is, do you need/want a dual reverb? This pedal is currently priced a bit over your stretched budget but comes with a power supply.
It clearly has lots of options but the sounds don't convince me. They seem somewhat 'stuck on'. I'm also not convinced by the spring, which is the most important reverb for me.
How did you get that reverse + mono tone? It's incredible and I can't seem to get it. You mind shooting me a message with your setup? That'd be awesome
According to the manual this is optionally possible: "The FUNCTION button can also toggle signal splitting, where Reverb A is sent to L OUT and Reverb B is sent to R OUT" (Source, page 14 of : www.ehx.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/oceans-12-manual.pdf)
First useful demo of this pedal. Thank you! I own it for 3 Month now, it sounds great but it needs some time to learn how to dial the 1000 knobs and buttons. An app would have been very helpful to have more oversight over all the functions.
Hi Eric, no i sold it. To be honest too many knobs and buttons for my taste. I also own the Oceans 11 and about 12 other reverb pedals and 2 tube reverb tanks for the real deal.
@@TheElrondo I had the SB metal but found it too much for normal stuff, so I got the UA golden and also have the flint and shimmer pedal inbetween them, still not convinced the Golden is the best, thinking about the SA Collider even though im not a SA fan
@@shckltnebay For me the "Drip" is very important, playing Surf and Spaghetti Western style, the UA Golden does that very well. On the other hand the 100$ Oceans 11 does that trick too.
@@TheElrondo Maybe I should try one, didnt care for the SA true spring, I do like the milkman F-stop but its a bit bright, im running the Golden with the treble all the way down

Excellent.
Every new pedal needs a review like this. Spot on job.
I’m so glad you had a demo of this - most of the other ones suck.
It sounds sublime. I got mine arriving today to use with my synths and also run drums and vocals though it 👌

Loved the Spring + Echo
This sounds amazing! 🌌🎶
Great demo!
Says the pedal is connected in the effects loop of the amp. I assume that’s the return and send port. What are line in and out connected to? Thanks
Gracias amigo muy buen video para aprender

Sounds like we go to atlantis
I feel like this pedal would pair well with the Keeley Electronics Eccos.
I feel like this would sound great with the EHX Synth9
SICK! What a vibe...
Amazing art too!

How does the panning for the Reverbs work?
Does the Reverb A goes to the right and the Reverb B to the left or they happen at both left and right?

@@skullhqx Thank you!

Is it possible to hear reverb in headphones but have it bypassed in the line out at the same time ?
Amei isso! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amazing review. Liked and subbed 👍
Mine has a lot of hiss when both are engaged and the select button does nothing?

Nice demo - thanks!.so only 2 presets available by foot switch in a live setting? Need at least four for a gig for me anyway.
2 per and since you can have and A or B that’s 4 separate and A and B you have how many more configurations, 8? 😎

This vs Walrus slo vs ventris vs immerse mk2

😵😵😵🤔🤔🤔🤔
Does this pedal have a built in effects loop?
Yes it does
How?
These things are bad to the bone, I'm gonna get one soon.
