- Tama zoo is the biggest and the best zoo in Tokyo. Zoo is located in Hono city of Tokyo and accessible via Tamadobutsukoen station of Tama monorail.
There is shuttle bus inside, several cafes and many rest areas.
IMHO Tama zoo is better than Zoorasia because of many open areas where you can see animals without cage in between. There are two domes where you can see birds closeup and dome with butterflies.
Filmed in UltraHD 4K with Lumix GH4 camera and Beholder-DS1 stabilizer. Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

I finally get to see Tama Zoo, so big and beautiful, I follow the Chimpanzee family, wow, it's so nice, the lions have the best place, almost like a sanctuary.
Keep doing these, this channel is great, and will slowly build momentum.

This was really useful for some research I was doing on the zoo for a book.I was really hoping from the snow leopard you would hit the tiger enclosure but I guess not. Still very valuable tho thank you .

japan sure has awesome parks and streets. can't say the same for most of its buildings, which lack inspiration... but they don't build for long

I fully realise that land is expensive in Tokyo,but this zoo is criminal.What a damned disgrace.Who puts a snake - twice the length of its tanfk - next to fuish?! No reseeding done;tiny enclosures.....pathetic.Why bother.That isn't a zoo.( Check-out Edinburgh Zoo.Vive l'difference).I am so disappointed.
