Thank you my friend. Working perfectly on my SEAL and I didn't even need to use passwords. As soon as I plugged in the pendrive it started updating.
Unrelated to this video but I noticed that in the iCloud share that you have uploaded file for the 5.0 UI and v1.8 atto 3 software and was wandering if you are going to make a video about them?
I haven’t found any info about the 1.8 software so I’m wandering where you even got it and what are the changes
5.0UI is not first party. It's a third party solution that I'm currently testing. No ETA.
I got V1.8 files from fellow BYD owners in Russia.
If I update manually to this version from 2310
How I gonna get the adas updates and more? I will not get ota push of 2403 because I am already on it if I do that, If it's only update the android version how and when should it's update my adas and etc?
Sorry but your question doesn't make sense.
You will still continue receiving OTAs. Manually upgrading/downgrading doesn't stop OTAs.
Only if you downgrade to a version more than 2 versions older than the current version.
@@XingersTechLounge1 Hi. If you downgrade to the old version to unlock app install and then manually instal the latest version, do you receive OTA from there?

Do I need to downgrade to 2307 (from 2310) in order to upgrade to 2403?
I got some minor OTA today mentioning 1.12 and then tried the USB install method this evening using the 2403 firmware but it failed saying "incomplete upgrade package information, upgrade failed"... So do I need to roll back to 2307 manually first (which I have done before but I had been hoping to avoid).
Confirming you have a BYD Seal?
@@XingersTechLounge1 yes, and apologies, it was user error. Figured out my mistake and installation worked well.
Some of he 2403 features are still not available in Ireland though so they may be geo restricted (location of new vehicle via the app, locking or unlocking the car etc). Thanks for the help
App functionality is restricted in some EU jurisdictions due to regulatory restrictions.
BYD needs to get the paperwork done.

@sheehanpaul Hey, just to let you know that I'm running 2403 (uploaded before an OTA (V1.12) and I can see my cars location in the app. Might be worthwhile checking permissions etc

I noticed today that update 2403 greatly reduced the warnings volume from the parking distance sensors and I didn't find a way to increase their volume (the volume of warnings has no effect)

One thing though - my BYD app has not yet shown the additional option of vehicle tracking. My car definitely has cellular (Telstra) signal, and all other BYD app functions work ok without connecting the car to WIFI...

I just got my car and it is version 2403. Can i downgrade it to do sideload?

first of all a huge thanks for your time and the tutorials that you uploading every time to your channel
2. I can say that when you downgrade from 2310 to 2307 (happens in dolphin/atto3) so there’s sometimes (happens in alot atto3/dolphin cars) a problem with the Ota , like I mean that the car cannot get the latest Ota update and it says that the car is updated with the latest software (which is incorrect since I downgraded to 2307 from 2310)

If your car version is more than 2 version older than the current version, then you will not receive new OTA for when it comes out.
For example you are on version 4 (latest). You downgrade to version 2. Then, version 5 comes out.
Because 5-2 = 3, you will not receive it. You must be on version 3 (or newer) to receive version 5 OTA.
Hope they will include one pedal driving in further updates
BYD as of right now has no intention of releasing OPD for any of their electric vehicles.

Any reason to wait for the OTA update in the EU ? Will this update give us everything the OTA update comes with ?
How is ADAS firmware upgraded so if not with the Android version ?
As I explained in the video, this is an ANDROID upgrade only.
It has nothing to do with ADAS - with the exception of the noises that the Android system might make.
This is NOT the full OTA.
Ok so the OTA update is responsible for ADAS firmware upgrade etc.
Wasn’t sure if the android firmware had some apk responsible for firmware upgrades.
Wireless CarPlay is the only feature I really want so upgrading the android alone should keep me happy.
@Lm56-pj3ki Correct, OTA upgrade (or done by service centre in-person) are the only ways to upgrade ADAS software.

I lost the accessibility menu in settings, why did this happen?
It has been hidden as of 2403. It is still there though, but you need to invoke it by activating the activity. I use App Manager.

Eu fiz o upgrade. Está funcionando perfeitamente. Na instalação nem precisei utilizar as senhas que ele posta. Foi só plugar o pendrive que iniciou automaticamente o upgrade. Já aviso que a conexão BT/IPHONE é uma droga ainda.....o carro emparelha também o WIFI entre eles. E antes de mais nada, apague todas as conexões que haviam por BT (tanto no iphone quanto no carro), senão ele começa a se confundir e daí fica conectando/desconectando o tempo todo. Sinceramente eu vou manter meu APPLE CAR PLAY via USB mesmo. É menos problemático. Já as novas funções touch para ar-condicionado são ótimas.

Then it will work.
But if you are in Portugal, you should receive the full 2403 OTA very shortly. You can wait for that as well.

Hi, do you have this update for Dolphin Plus?
Today I didn't receive update 2403 for my BYD dolphin, it was already available but for me it appeared via OTA, I would like to update manually, I couldn't find this file on iCloud
2403 for Dolphin is not available for manual install.
it would be the dolphin plus
Dolphin plus uses 13.1.32
This video is for 13.1.33
They are not the same.

FYI Wireless CarPlay doesn’t work after the update
Change your settings. Everyone else has got it working.
@@XingersTechLounge1 Which settings? I tried reconnecting Bluetooth but still the same. It pops a "Connecting" notification after pressing on Apple CarPlay app icon, waits for some time and "connection failed". Would be glad if you could help with a workaround
Same issue here don’t understand how to use Wireless CarPlay
UPDATE: Now it works after disconnecting CarPlay and reconnecting through my iPhone!
@@toaksoy nice one, Im having the same issue , is it as simple as just pressing CarPlay while the phone is connected to bluetooth?
