- Kyle Bailey, an aviation analyst, says pilots who fly presidents are typically skilled and experienced, but the helicopter is a “very complicated machine”.
“The issue is when you’re taking off and the weather is clear, and then you’re in mountainous, rugged, forest-like terrain, there could be fog developing in areas that you don’t expect fog to develop,” Bailey told Al Jazeera.
“And it wouldn’t be on weather forecasts; it wouldn’t be on maps; it wouldn’t be on the radar. Fog could pretty much pop up anywhere very, very quickly, and very much sneak up upon the pilot.”

Iranian state media said the copter was almost completely destroyed and the bodies were burned beyond recognition. So how were they identified, if not merely by being numbered as having been all aboard ?

The president helicopter flight did not fly with military escorts giving high ranking officer and high value target. 2) Two other entourage helicopters did not able to locate on first impact instead it took 8 hours to find the wreckage. 3) Iran Meteorology Dept did not communicate with military airforce whom in-charge and monitoring the President safe flight path. 4) many more variable which long list to mentioned......This was well planned by foreign agent and their local ground asset and masked it all as Poor age helicopter, bad weather and etc bla..bla...i just cant accept the top post leader flight was not meticulously guarded by the military as Iran is the most anticipated country with high stake holder in world politics arena...we talking about high value President as target and not some high level CEO achiever from MLM company

Why this old chopper? The Russians are leaders in helicopter manufacturing. Its stupid beyond believe that they didn't have modern Russian choppers carrying the President. One needs modern instrumentation in bad weather that's not on this chopper. Very, very embarrassing for Iran.
That kind of weather should not be a problem for those kind of helicopters. I have been flying helicopters for my work for seven years. This is does not look like an accident. This is my take on that.
What then does it look like, a tea party? 🙄. Even a Sikorsky 92 will have trouble in such weather let alone a Bell. A poorly maintained chopper flown in severely bad weather is asking for trouble.
