- Hey Team!! I am back with my 2024 Bul Armory SAS II TAC 5” 2011 @BULARMORY upgraded by @dscgunworks782. I was not fortunate to get the TAC Pro (ported version) but this gave me the opportunity to not only get it ported buy also some other upgrades and modifications by DSC. Looks amazing. I knew the first time I fired my tac pro that it was special. Sent mine to Dave as well for complete DLC coating and egw ignition with red dirt trigger. Should be back tomorrow.

Michael, now you see , feel and understand why I have been preaching V Porting.. V8, V10 and V12 when done with the correct size and spacing will definitely preform great.

i'm a novice gun guy but i do pick up some things from watching your videos. the gun right off the bat just looked amazing. loved the color scheme. then i saw from the range footage and could tell right away it was an exceptional flat shooter. your explanations of what's been done to the gun are always easy to follow. another great review dude.

I had the chance to get the 5" TAC PRO, and decided to wait. I was considering the Blaze as well (the replacement for the Air). So glad I did! Bul coming out with the 5" TAC PRO COMP next year should be the ultimate! I still want to see someone do a review on the Blaze. Love your videos! You have some amazing pieces.
I agree the TAC Pro Comp will definitely be the ultimate 2011 for next year. I will be getting one. Bul has really stepped their game up. I regret selling my UR Shorty but will get the Blaze next year with the Pro Comp. It’s going to be a great 2025. Thanks again for watching. I appreciate your support.

Hey Joon!! Thank you!! DSC does extraordinary work. I don’t use a Taft light on all my 2011s. Only the ones I use them on are for competitions and tactical training. Just a personal preference for myself. I appreciate your honest feedback. Thanks for watching. Greatly appreciated
As you recall, I V10 ported my TAC5 . Definitely love your window cut serrations.. Dave at DSC is killing the cool looks for sure!
Yes I remember. When I got mine back and saw the extra room for a V10 porting, I immediately thought of your TAC 5”. I’m considering porting my Atlas Athena next year. DSC has a great operation and quality control system in place.

I added a steel mainspring housing, EGW hammer/strut and Atlas tool-less guide rod on mine. It cleaned up the trigger action and added 1.65oz to the back.

@@teamblacksmithllc i posted on reddit saying it shoots flatter than my Erebus and people think I'm crazy. I'm waiting on Red dirt to release their trigger for Bul Armory and it'll get even better. I want the trigger shoe to have a tighter fit and shorter for my hands.
@EDnesss you’re not too far off from the truth. I might have given it the top spot but in my experience with them both. The Erebus right out the box as far as the trigger, slide to frame fit, quality and ergonomics edges out the Bul. The Atlas grip is tough to beat. Only Cheely and Infinity grips surpasses it.
@@teamblacksmithllc I’m half tempted to put a cheely steel grip onto my Erebus. I added a cheely steel grip to my DS9 and it’s amazing.
@EDnesss I have the Cheely grip on my Legion Precision and absolutely love it. I may get it on my PT H-TAC though. The added weight would be nice.

I appreciate the feedback. Your collection is right there too my brother. Quantity is good but quality will always prevail. After seeing yours, I still couldn’t believe that it was that good. How did it shoot without the ports?
Hey Jack. It shot really good. No complaints about the non-ported version but the ported one puts the icing on the cake. It truly makes a difference in performance and accuracy. Here is the link to my review without the ports.

@@bighin1 hey brother. The first round was only at 7yds and the second round was only at 5 yds. That is where I usually test my guns for reviews. I didn’t know the cameras were that clear until I finished. I will push it out to 20 yds for my next review. I hope I didn’t disappoint you brother. It’s still the second best in my collection. @bighin1 congrats brother!! I am excited for you. The XC is still an awesome 2011 and one of the best money can buy. The racking of the XC slide is tough to beat but when you put it up against the Bul TAC Pro for half the cost, all the performance and then some. The BUL is just an entirely different shooting experience. You will feel the difference with the first shot. Better trigger pull, improved accuracy (not forgetting the basic fundamentals) and the ports makes a world of difference. All this is my personal experience shooting both. Keep me posted brother.

@FatBlueLine6217 I don’t believe DSC is better but they know how to properly port bull barrels. They also make their own bull barrels so I trust his work.
