Man I love the P365X. My father conceal carried a Walther PPK/S and Browning Hi-Power for almost 40 years and my siblings and I managed to convince him to carry his first striker fired pistol. The Sig P365X is almost identical in size to the Walther PPK/S, but it's in 9mm, carries 12+1, and it has better sights. While the PPK/S saved my dad's life in the early 2000s when he was mugged and we have fond memories of the PPK/S, it was time for an upgrade.
You should buy him a couple Magguts kits for his magazines, they increase capacity by +2 while only increasing mag length by 1/8" inch (which actually fits my hand better with them) by replacing the follower and baseplate while using a stacked sheet metal spring that compresses flatter than a coil spring, plus they make the mags far easier to load, they're much smoother and don't stick like the stock spring/follower. No changes in reliability either, it's a win win situation. They're $35 each but you only really need two, one in the gun and one for your spare.
Just bought one last week after shooting my friends 365x. Nice shooting gun. And as a lefty I had no issues manipulating the controls set up for a righty.
We can argue which of these micro compacts is best all day…but what is not even a discussion is these X ray sites on the 365…the best sites on a micro hands down!!
I go back and forth on that because it is what really sets these guns apart. I tend to really like the sights on the Springfield Armory Hellcat. They are extremely vibrant during the day, fast acquisition and feature tritium but in the front sight only.
I have been carrying the 365 for a while now.. Have an xl too that I run suppressed sometimes.. But bought the 365X a month ago.. Installed Magguts springs in my 12 round magazines and added a Holosun.. My new EDC holds 15 rounds.. Love it...
The X is my first ever gun, was thinking about getting the 15 round extended mag and then adding a MagGuts to that, lol. Also for the 12 rounder, because I feel like the extra foot won’t be as comfy for edc.
Just purchased this gun. It felt really good in the hand. I also got the 365 grip module if i want to downsize the grip and have a smaller carry firearm. Will need to get some mags for the smaller grip though.
I thought about doing the same thing if I get one. That way I still get the flat trigger and full grip if I want it and the reg 364 module if I have trouble concealing the x.
Lol. I wish they were, but technically and temporarily, yes they are. However, outside of YT I am an FFL/dealer. I make the videos first and these are all sold prior to posting the videos as to not allow YT to accuse me of posting videos of guns for sale. Hopefully that makes sense.
Who cares? It's an unboxing video showing it off. He's not going to shoot himself or develop a habit to put his hands in front of it when loaded or shooting.
@@RenegadeNate You missed my point - if the idea is to show it off, then let us see it. In other words, stop flipping it and putting your hands in front of it so we can't see it. It was a comment on his showmanship.
@@barryharrell3355 ahhh! Gotcha! I figured he was using his hand to try to make the gun show up better on camera. But I can see how all the flipping around with his hands over and under would make it harder to see.
There are apparently 4 flavors of the "X" (according to Sig's site). With manual Safety, without manual safety, and there is a "state compliant" version of each (with 10 round mags in place of the 12 round standard mags). I wish this stupid unconstitutional magazine capacity limit nonsense would reach SCOTUS and get squashed for good sometime soon. It would save a lot of people a lot of headaches. NJ's been contesting it since 2018. I hope it happens before I'm too old and blind to shoot...
If I’m not mistaken the ‘X’ was added to differentiate it from the P365XL wherein it had a long slide/barrel and a long grip vs the P365X having just the long grip. Also, There isn’t even a mention of Taurus (with the exception of their 856 revolver) on the NSSF data for gun sales in 2020. 2021 may be different and Taurus may take a spot but I highly doubt they will overtake the P320 or P365. This goes without even mentioning my personal experience with sales, and I’ll be the first to tell you that the P365 is selling like nothing else in 2021. nssfpdf.s3.amazonaws.com/OnlineSalesViewJune2020.pdf
Haha! Sorry man, sarcasm is quite hard to see through just text. I’m used to seeing “/s” from Reddit after jokes/sarcasm. I hope I didn’t come across as rude. I just hope to provide information to everyone I can about what I put my life into. So I’m sorry if it did come out that way.
Whatever video you watched is incorrect. All the X's come "optics ready". Getting it with the Romeo Zero factory mounted adds some $ to the price. You can get them with the optics on them., but they're going to be at least $200 more than the same gun with the iron sights.

First time looker/buyer or a collector that doesn’t have something. I have run into a lot of people that have said “That didn’t come in my box”. To a collector, something missing form the box could potentially lower value. A+ for your awesome criticism and suggestions to improve future videos.
@@GunBoxTherapy max must have never seen any unboxing video before. Don't let ignorant people like him get under ur skin. Thanks for the thorough video. I'm a fan of the 365. I bought the regular 365 tacpac for the 12 round extended mags. It's like the perfect grip size then. Keep up the great work
The Holosun 407k/507k fit the optics cut of the P365X perfectly.
Thanks man! I’m assuming the Trijicon RMRcc would also fit?
@@GunBoxTherapy it will fit, but it requires an adapter plate for the RMRcc, the Holosun fits without an adapter

Which one would you recommend to carry between the X and XL?

100% agree!
Want to add this to my collection n perhaps make it my EDC. Thanks for sharing..
Got mine today! I was undecided between XL and X but my lgs had a sale on the X
Where was the sale?
I just got the xmacro non comp and now looking at getting this to add to the collection. Any update on this as far as reliability? Any issues?
adding this next for sure to the collection ! great unboxing

Can I take my p365 12 round magazine and take the sleeve off of it and it would be the same as the p365x 12 round magazines?
Im deciding between this and a glock 43x
Im trying to decide of getting rid of my 43x for this lol

Can the slide release lever be moved to the other side?

Would you recommend the shield plus or p365x? Thanks!
I sold two shield pluses when I found the 365X…

Are these unboxings your personal guns? If so your collection is godly
I answered that question in a comment on this video. Short answer is yes but also no because they aren’t “personally” mine.
@@GunBoxTherapy oh ok didnt see that comment but still a great collection
What size lock would fit on that carry case ?
Any of the TSA ones really would fit in the holes on the outside. I didn’t mention/show it but there is a breach lock underneath the foam in the case.
