      True. But Matt's is embracing the RUclips make sure you portray the right thing. Which isn't right. Period. These fellas are MOSTLY aside from alternate channels of other people recording them being genuine uncensored.... just watching their language. 0 comparison. Non legit vs legit humans that stand by their values they took THEIR lifetime to learn the hardway. Not just acting. Very few channels like that left and this one isn't long for the yt without the overlords cracking down. Wholesome fun and skills. Can't have that can we now! No way! Matt's is fake and rehearsed and repetitive and for Hella's sake I do the exact same thing for people driving in ski resort towns all day long (I have to show up to properties, alot higher than the ski resorts on rough ungraded nob maintanance roads in a widdle widdle audi😂😂😂 recovery straps and kinetic roads, compressor, tool kits, epic first aid ifak, tire plugs and patches which I've uses All of to get home after a 12 hour day 100 miles from home.. 70 miles offroad... Matt's a wholesome fella. Be he isn't the same. When you have to pull several full sized pick ups or SUVS.. including the responding sherrifs full sized 4wd truck out of the snowdrifts... you find out. The embarrassing number of mall crawlers I've personally saved with a kayak literally strapped with a ratchet strap straight to my roof and still made my appointments.. you gain a new perspective of "stuck" or "navigatable" yep Matt. We don't live far apart😂 moab is a couple hour drive. You guys took a job and collabed with people I grew up around the corner literally from. Literally. Went to school. Played in the same areas. I don't have a helicopter or a massive business though so a big F for me. I prefer planes. Same airports even😂😂😂 rory is unapologetically who is is. One of the few not wearing a facade. Absolute gem

      I'm no rock crawler, but even if I was sponsored and paid to put on a show I wouldn't drive like that. • @Sakratic
    @Sakratic 9 месяцев назад +35

    You guys just do what you do, like always, just like you said up there in that video description, that nobody ever reads😂 And unsurprisingly, at least for the people that follow this channel, Rory, as a matter of factly, showcased his superior understanding of tire placement, available traction, the vehicle's limit, while optimally regulating the wheel speed, and lets not forget also his vast knowledge and usage of leverage (just to name a few), methodically tackled every obstacle (even the under the tree one that others declined to do, haha!), as he and the buggy ascended the mountain! While Mike and Shawn from the MIke and Shawn Show, were a great support, as always, getting the great footage and unique perspectives that the people want and enjoy and that only The TrailMater Crew can give! And ruffle some feathers you say??? Wait, why would there be any hate or jealousy that day??? I mean, from the footage I've seen covering this event, why would anyone hate on a buggy that costs a fraction of what was out there on the trail - because that wouldn't make any sense would it? The bottomline is, no amount of money can buy you experience, skill, and legitimate, top-tier level ability (in that chronological order - for lack of a better term). Can't wait to see the rest of the footage!

      I believe that is a full time king of the hammers rig that goes fast, I believe his stall converter is high rpm or his gear ratios are not set up for this

      You ever tried to trail with a 3600 RPM stall? 😆

      They invited him and knew what his rig was, full power is the only way his rig will move. It might look dangerous but everyone there knows what could and does happen if you stand behind or next to a buggy with that kind of power.

      Not real trail "friendly" though. No doubt he has a great rig just not sure if its the right type for this trail. It beats my couch for sure.

    Love seeing the "Internet" view versus the "Real" view!! While we were watching yesterday's Hell & Back episode and the first guy broke, we were wondering how many people had opinions on how to get him out.😂

    Skinny pedal wheelers are the worst! They just disrespect the trail and ruin it for others. Wish they would learn from Rory! Thanks for sharing and caring about the trails

    Rory, there's always someone who is an instant armchair "expert" and couldn't back out of their driveway without a back-up camera. Then you get the ones who live for being offended about something - I tell you what, Rory, we've made quite a few trips to Moab to enjoy your trails, and this fall we couldn't stop laughing as we saw so many "overland" vehicles way over their heads on trails, so many roof-top tents, and way too many man buns. Your wit is clean, fun, and on point! Keep the truth coming, Rory and Shawn and Mike - you're the salt of the earth and it shows in your every word and action, and we need more of folks like you today! You're a born leader, Rory, and even us oldsters will gladly follow you on the trails! And, your wisdom not only helps us on the trails, but you teach life lessons daily - one of the best examples was your beautiful daughter looking around while helping on a job, and with awe in her voice, she remarked on the beauty around her. That's building for the future and leading our youth towards a bright future that the "haters" won't be able to influence. Keep up the good work, we're with you all the way! Don't think our modified JK will ever be able to follow you very far, though - LOL!

    It is amazing to watch Rory hit obstacles in a calm, near effortless way. At least he makes it look effortless. Nice and smooth, low RPM. It is even more noticeable up against the pedal to the floor crowd.
