animatic i did of my character Gizmo ! He was a concept character for a 1995 cartoon but his original creator died during the early stages, everyone else scrapped the idea for the cartoon and gizmo was left abandoned. He is a sentient character and is trapped inside a old tv. He feels he has no true identity because he was never able to get a proper one. 🎬 #animation #art #animatic #oingoboingo
The once in a lifetime + weird al references ( and is "gizmo" by chance a gizmodgery reference lol) in this are just the icing on the cake this is SO good!!

actually i just thought about this comment again fun fact the first animation he was ever planned for was the song pattycake from the album gizmodgery !! it was never finished but i had maybe 5-7 seconds done

This is some oldschool furry art right here. If there wasn't a date under the video I would've assumed it was from the 90s.
This artstyle is PURE 90s , it automatically reminded me of Animaniacs and i love it so much

Hey man, you don't know me and you probably won't see this. I have been sort of struggling with some form of gender dyphoria for a good part of this year. I stumbled across this animation because im an oingo boingo fan and the short little scene at 0:23 of Gizmo in a dress resonated with me. There was something about it that made me think "Yeah, I want that."

im so obsessed with your artstyle and the aesthetic of this video omgg i did Not know that i needed this in my life. and i adore gizmo the concept of a sentient character trapped in a tv who feels he has no set identity so he just experiments with all sorts of identities is so fun !!! and i just love sentient characters trapped inside of technology, ive seen a couple around and its interesting to see how different characters treat the same/similar situations in different ways (now im thinking itd be neat if there was a crossover of sorts between these characters, could totally happen since theyre all inside of technology. but theyre all just random peoples ocs that ive seen LOL)
