she put all them skincare AND moisturizer THEN PUT ON A MASK? THEN WASHES IT OFF???
oh yeah, I do it too. the mask generally hlps the moisturiser sink in better. and that particular mask is pretty sticky when it dries and leaves strange film on the face so it's harder to sleep with. so a splash of water and dabbing it off helps a lot. it doesn't necessarily remove the mask, just removes that sticky feeling and still leaves the face glowing and moisturised.
^^ yeah but she's still washing all the product off her face lol, surely putting the mask on after washing your face and then washing the residue of the mask off before moisturiser would be way better
sheet masks are full of serum/essence, applying a sheet mask after a moisturiser does NOTHING for the skin, she literally just washed off all her skincare.

No, she didn’t. After you moisturize your skin, everything you did before is locked in. No matter what. The mask helps lock in even more moisture.

It's so irritating to know so much about skincare and have a disciplined routine and still struggle with acne, meanwhile she doesn't seem to know much about skincare but has perfect skin. Really goes to show that genetics have a bigger impact on skin than skincare

No at all, she has good genes it is obvious but also the most expenssive skin treatments, cuality vitamins, and probably laser treatments to reduce the acne scars or sun spots if she had. She works as a model, so she must be look good 24/7, her work is based on how she looks and her appearance (i think it can be in the other hand so stressful) ;) plus she is a Victoria’s Secret model and she train a lot, sports can improve the troubled skin.

I think she was just trying to show what she does for her skin, usually and that includes doing a mask and washing it off after 20 minutes. She did wash off everything but I am sure, she doesnt do it normally after the skincare. She clearly wasnt going to bed, and just filmed a video to show how she takes care of her skin. 🙂

I have masks that write on them that they're supposed to be left on the skin for 15-20 mins and then washed off. Those work the best for me so, why not? Im curious why everyone is so shocked about it :/

+Paula sheet mask are supposed to be at the end of after oils and serums to act as a shield or barrier, it’s a common misconception

Technically the serum and night cream have been absorbed into her skin. So she just washed off just the pellicle that remained on her skin. But yes, this is not the right order to put those products.
Technically you use a moisturizer to trap the moisture
some face masks are meant to be washed off because excess will create an imbalance..and the serum could be before or after the mask, some said that putting serum before can help you skin absorb what the mask has to offer better..however the cream definitely should be after the mask,,,
One can also use a sheet mask as the last step to seal and lock in everything but she is still doing it wrong by washing it off lol
I LOVE HER. She’s so raw and real. I feel like some celebs when they do their skincare routine totally have makeup on. She even showed that she shaved her face which some celebs wouldn’t admit to. They just say “Drink water”. Beauty inside and out

Crala when you shave your face it removes the “peach fuzz” on your skin and your products absorb better into your skin. Can’t speak on the mask thing tho lol.
sometimes you dont want to sleep with all that juice on your face and if you dont wash it you wake up with a greasy film on your face........ i too dont like to wipe the rest of the moisture from the face mask i wash it just like her

Elly Lig peach fuzz does not grow back as “regular hair”. I’ve been doing it for a year and have had no problems.
So basically what she said she does is to put skincare, moisturize, shave with a razor the face, put a mask and then wash it, WTF, is this bad editing or she does not know nothing?

I know that everyone's bothered with her washing of her mask's ingredients, but this routine obviously works for her cause her skin is flawless
It is clearly not flawless because of the routine. She's still young and takes decent care of herself. The routine, particularly the order of the steps (and the face shaving, considering her phenotype/type of hair on young blonde Caucasian women) is a 3/10 for me. Bleh.

She said she wants to prevent wrinkles yet she sprayed perfume in her neck and chest area as if the chemicals in it won't dry and age that area out extremely especially with frequent use.

Girl, if I shaved my face, one month later when the hair had grown I would look like Chewbacca!!!
hair doesn't grow back thicker when shaved. It appears so because it is cut blunt, and the root is thicker (hairs are kind of like a cone), so when it appears on the surface again it's the blunt thick end that shows up first. But if you let it grow to the size you had originally, it will tapper out and it will be the same size and thickness as before. Also, shaving is amazing for exfoliating the skin and allows for better makeup application.

orkidea elba believe me !! I am Mediterranean with the darkest of hair on my side burns. I can show you picture of my before and after if you want. I shave every 3/4 days and yes when the hair comes back it’s stubble and thick but if I let it go back to long again (which I have), it goes from looking like pubic stubble to being thin like arm hair
Yes I'm mediterranean too, and usually in other body parts, when I shave, hairs come back thicker. So i'm scared to try it in my face!

OMG I love the avène thermal water. My mom would always use it and it honestly helps so much and is so refreshing especially for sensitive skin.
She did say she only does the mask when she has time. I think it was more an additional tip rather than sequential part of her nighttime routine. Be nice guys ;) 💕

Why people in the comment session don’t understand! She just wanted to demonstrate the face mask that she used “couple times per week”!!!! It’s not part of her everyday routine. She mentioned night cream is her last step of her routine.

I love her but I am so confused by her routine haha. Why did she wash all the products off after the mask? She should also look into a razor that is made specifically for your face! I don't shave my face but I see a lot of great reviews about the "Tinkle" razors on amazon.

Throwing out the razor after 1 use is ridiculously wasteful and totally unnecessary . That’s why you use it with cleanser and then rinse- also men don’t throw it out after every use but still famously get that exfoliated, glowing, clean skin. Please reuse

You should always throw out a razor that you used to shave your face! First of all a face cleanser is not going to effectively clean it and even if you did try to clean the razor with rubbing alcohol , after one use, those razors get dull and can easily cut you and then all that dead skin and hair build up, on top of airborne bacteria and even your makeup brushes🤢 can give you infections. As an esthetician, I would never recommend women shave their entire face at home especially with a cleanser or product. If you are going to do it, you have to make sure the skin is super dry or else you will cut yourself.
Elizabeth Coy lol what do you think that men have been doing for centuries? Razors are designed to be used more than once. Now I’m not saying that you should keep it forever but cleaned correctly and allowed to dry properly you can get another use or two out of it.
Elizabeth Coy or use it to shave your body after even. An esthetician program is what, 6 months in most states? You don’t need an esthetician program to do what men have been doing for centuries. Now actual dermaplaning with a surgical scalpel? Yes, esthetician or medical training would be advisable.
Elizabeth Coy Metal razors (no plastic) are widely available these days. You could use one of those and then just disinfect it with a flame or boiling water. Then it would be safe to use until it became too dull to properly shave you, at which point you could just purchase a blade replacement.

A lot of people are commenting on how she washed off her mask’s residue. I searched on ulta beauty website and it says that you need to moisturize your skin first then put on the mask. I don’t know if moisturizing with cream is right, but what I know she shouldn’t do is that you need to dab the face so the essence absorbs into the skin, not wash it off. That’s the information I got on how to use it based on the website

I love Josephine but LOL! I always cleanse, tone, bha, serum, then moisturize. If I do a mask I skip the serum and moisturizer and just rub in the mask essence. I also shave my face sometimes but I use those tiny little eyebrow razors (I would never use a big disposable one like that omg scary)

Are all the people commenting watching the video with the sound off or what?? She clearly mentioned she uses the sheet mask a couple of times a week. It's very obvious, she first showed her regular skincare routine in the exact order that she does everyday. And then showed something she does occassionally, that she could just fit in in the middle of her routine. Common sense.
This is just another alternative way of filming. Some celebs show a twenty step routine and then very slightly mention at the end that they don't do all the steps everyday.
