@@djanes302 I did the same thing a while back. I just dremeled my ragnarok into that version, works great. 👍 The more you shoot the more you modify your equipment to your needs 👌
Hey Brantley you are a great addition to the TRex team! Could you please do a video on tips to get a faster first shot? From indexing, to establishing a drip, to draw, sight picture, and press. I'm struggling to decrease time from grip to sight picture! Thanks!
“I used to compete with a shadow 2 but then I started working for trex arms and realized no other gun existed except for Glock” 😉😂 (Just messing with the dude, as a GM he’d whoop me with any pistol haha)
I think he started on Glock originally and he stated in the podcast he did a few weeks ago he went back to Glock to become better because he felt like he plateaued on the CZ. Many USPSA shooters who shoot in open class shoot on limited optics or carry optics to work fundamentals so they make sure they aren’t getting lazy with their basics.
Great addition to the theme. Thanks for sharing about this kind of setup. I do have to say though, ya'll need to watch the 'um, uhs' in videos; they are distracting. Premier Pro comes with AI that can remove them. Thanks for all the great work.
Yeah, I cut out that nub on the holster as well near the trigger guard. Seems like maybe get rid of it on future models. Not needed, gets in the way. YMMV
For your Tactical Trigger do you have the 3.5lb drop in with safety plunger spring, and are you comfortable carrying that? I have the same setup in my 47 and love it but have wondered if Ken could do a slightly heavier version for carry.
I didn't put in the reduced power plunger spring just because I wanted to keep the slide completely stock. I feel confident with it. I've been carrying and competing with it in that setup for about a year.
I was wondering how he was doing so well also. The trigger is the secret sauce here. The trigger really is Glocks weak point but they’re not trying to be the leading competition pistol so it makes sense they haven’t improved it much either.
@swiftaudi I don't think there is any secret sauce. If you watch the CO Nats, splits are not where these guys are making up their time. Give him a stock trigger and time, he is still top 20 finisher.
I trust the Henning Groups more, also the added weight helps with dropping free. I have a lot of both so I practice with both, but I only compete with Henning Groups.
May be a ridiculous question, but what weight is recommended for the magnet? I’ve looked around and found next to no answers to this. I imagine the 22 pound ones would suffice, but I’ve been surprised before. Any and all help is appreciated!
I am biased but all i can think while hearing all that is said about the Glock, "i am so happy with my CZ P10F" It gives you all the same if not better, also a way better trigger without needing to replace anything. For a much better price which saves you a lot of money for other things. Only big change i made to it was changing the backstrap for a brass one. Hopefully in IPSC they are gonna change some of the outdated rules a bit like when it comes to pistol/mag placement. Doesnt really affect any division if you have your pistol or mags at the front or at the back, if it works for you it works for you.
the "race" modifications to the ragnarok is actually what most companies are doing to their own duty/competition holsters. eliminating that wing by the trigger guard should be standard. Ya'll should adopt this modification to your next generation OWB holsters, it would open up your holsters to a whole new market.
I like this channel. Keep up the good work. But man the non-stop glock commercial gets annoying. "I recently switch from a Shadow 2 because..." Let me stop you right there. First, you are the first person to say those words in a sentence ever. And you switched because of a sponsorship. Nobody downgrades like that.

@apostle4122 almost everyone starts on glocks. It's the Bud Light of guns. And I get moving back from red dot to irons. I shoot carry optics. But I also shoot single stack. And I am building a carry/limited gun for the sake of shooting iron sights for skill set reasons. But going from striker to hammer, 1911 to glock grip angle. I'm not sure how hobbling yourself with that would improve you as a shooter.
We love this guy. The addition of Brandon and Brantley has been the greatest marketing moves TRex has made maybe ever.
You guys are really good with picking employees that mesh well with the company ✅
i dremeled my ragnarok that same exact way, wish yall sold them like that as a competition cut
I've been hoping yall would make this video and my wish came true. Thanks for this content.
My current USPSA set up has a Ragnarok holster and Mars carriers on it🤙🏻
Just recently switched back to Glock with a Glock 47. Loving it so far.
I really wish they kept making the G17 Gen5 MOS 😢😢😢😢😢
This is great! You guys are always putting out content I want to see. I have been thinking about getting into competitions.
I had no idea they discontinued the G17. I prefer the full length recoil spring.
They only stoped making the mos one I bought a normal gen 5 then got a optic cut ZEV slide
Slide milling is the way.
You guys should definitely sell that version of the holster. I run the same for my USPSA setup and it is a little bulky looking. But it works great
I’d buy one!

I hope you guys will start offering those competition versions of the Ragnarok. I’d definitely get one! Also, hi Brantley! 😄
That background music had me tweaking like a small dog stuck in a hot car
Really enjoy the Brantley videos!

What’s the name of the guy that made your trigger for your Glock
“I used to compete with a shadow 2 but then I started working for trex arms and realized no other gun existed except for Glock” 😉😂
(Just messing with the dude, as a GM he’d whoop me with any pistol haha)
Lol there must be incredible pressure to shoot glock if you work at trex. If you're not a glock guy they'll find ways to bring it up left and right

Thought the same thing instantly
I think the sound is a little muffled compared to other videos. I dig the belt. Had no idea they discontinued the mos g17
Why would they not make the 17.5 in MOS, that’s nuts.
Great addition to the theme. Thanks for sharing about this kind of setup. I do have to say though, ya'll need to watch the 'um, uhs' in videos; they are distracting. Premier Pro comes with AI that can remove them. Thanks for all the great work.
what size spacer washers are you using with the qls fork on your holster to keep it in uspsa regs?
Could we get some more info on the trigger and components? Thanks
Now we need a follow up of your EDC “Thing 2” setup!
Same gun. Trex Arms Sidecar with the TQ carrier attachment.
I noticed you didn't cant your mag carriers. What are your thoughts on canted mags?

What's the trigger website?
What the fuck, choosing a Glock gen 5 over a shadow 2 for comp is wild
@jasonathey2551 finishing where he finishes is even more wild.
Not really. Being able to speed up and slow down the gun is important. The Shadow 2 is only better on 25yd+ targets
@@adamriehl8166 I agree

What belt is that?
Don't preach at me about skill over gear... you obviously haven't hungout on r/tacticalgear
Is there any reason why you practice with the arredondo-based pad and run the henning group when competing?
I trust the Henning Groups more, also the added weight helps with dropping free. I have a lot of both so I practice with both, but I only compete with Henning Groups.
Is the barrel stock? Recoil assembly stock? Just curious
Both are stock.
Sounds like he was trying to say the @johnnyglocks Evolution X Combat Trigger with the Vex trigger shoe
Negative. Tactical Trigger's drop in kit.
Can we order the ragorak holsterthe way you run it? I need a competition holster and this one is the one Im interested in.
Glad to see you're still alive after calling out all of seal team 6!

This one is from Double Alpha Academy.

What grip plug do you have?
Thug plug, I think I got it from the Glock store
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!
Christ is King ☦️
i wanna see a more diversified selection of gear, like experimenting with other brand of say mag pouches and not 100% Trex products
The guy who makes your trigger…his first name wouldn’t happen to be Johnny, would it?
Brand is called Tactical Triggers, he went with the aluminum one
Wow, a belt with 3 pistol pouches and a holster. Truly incredible.
Henning is the man!
Went from a shadow 2 to a glock? That’s backwards, but to each their own i guess.
Which Trigger did he say that was?
I thought thigh straps are legal at the time of this comment
Nothing like a glock with a Trigger job from a buddy lol
