Massive respect, set up myself 2 years ago, still going strong the progression is sometimes frightening but also exciting at the same time. Bit tip: never cut corners no job is to small, do things the right way first time and never withdraw funding from your business and keep investing. Best advice I can give out. Good luck to all

Hi mate, great video your lads are doing a top job, I’ve been on the tools for over 40 years now and I’m glad you young lads are putting up top quality work, I’m happy I’ve got my own little firm , wagon a little yard and 2 top scaffolders steady town work nothing to big my days working for the big firms are over. Hello there been watching your youtube channel and enjoying the content im a year into the trade and loving every moment of it just a quick question on your temp roofs above your boarded lifts is the transoms in-between the standards on doubles as the company Im working on they put them on swivels but doubles are more secure so just wondering on how you do the corners above the boarded lift do the ledgers go underneath after the first ledger put in all the way round many thanks and keep up with the good work 💪🏻
@@bradshiers-de9fj Both are load bearing fittings mate! This is because we don’t go on the standards with the structural transoms/ aberdeens we go across the ledgers allowing every strctual transom to be the same level so the boards don’t kick up and on the returns just hang/or put on top a double depending how your returns works for boards but again both methods are fine! 👊🎥

There’s never a good time for a holiday when you own your own firm, if your quiet you want to be on the ground pulling in the work and if your busy you want to be there putting in the graft. You just have to book it and go away, it is what it is but holidays are important to prevent burnout and reset.
