162.400 is WXM73. 162.425 is WXM43. That station covers Bedford, Fulton and Somerset Counties in PA which is why you heard State College. That transmitter originates from NWS Sterling, VA. 162.450 I’m not sure but if I had to guess, it would’ve probably been KZZ28 if you did get it. 162.475 is WXM42 which you are correct on that. 162.500 was WXK97 from Sudlersville, MD. That one originates from NWS Mount Holly, NJ. 162.525 is WWG52 which is correct and 162.550 is WXL40 which is the primary station for both of us.
@@MisterTwister55 What? PLEASE go read up on that... I hope the WX is all you got in there or HAM channels or something. Seriousness aside, these are nice radios. Moto is the best

Very nice. Solid radio. Still needing to upgrade from my XTS models.
Can you click on the push to talk I want to hear how it sounds like
Wait, you have NWS Sterling?
I would sure enjoy one of those radio's. Anyone at #Motorola want to send me one?
I'd like one of those radios but they're always so expensive when I find one
This radio has FPP it appears
Thats amazing, here in Idaho there is just to much terrain for the signal to travel like that, your lucky if you get any NOAA station.
I need that radio but never can trust people on ebay with spending that kinda of money anyone you trust ?
I can pick up WXM42 from my house too. I can pickup WXL40 even without the antenna up
do u have the Motorola soft wear to program your STX5000 and your APX8000 ??
WATCH OUT!!!! Your local TRS GenWatch CPS user will blow that thing away if you aren't careful and they can be bricked!
wow thanks never heard of that happening before
