  • This review is for my 1st Year Anniversary for a John Deere 26G mini Excavator. I have put 600 clock hours on the equipment and found that it was a good investment for my Homestead .

    Are steel tracks available?

I'm unsure but I believe that they are.
I just changed out my tracks by myself at 850 hours. My sales rep told me to expect my tracks to need to be changed at 700 hours here in Hawaii due to the lava. I hope to do my video editing for that clip in the morning.

You could tracks way cheaper from track dealers. Pape marks them up so much.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will definitely be looking for a better price next time around.

Aloha. Yes I agree with you that the tracks failed fairly early. There are a few things to consider though, first is that I'm mostly using the excavator on Lava Rock and second that i most likely could have gotten more hours out of them. I chose not to take any chances in regards to losing a track in an area that would be too far in the jungle to get to easily. These tracks are not light by any means.
