Saturday morning "Jesse" video, a nearly 3 hour video, on a Saturday morning when I should be outside doing my yard work. When my wife gets home, I'm going to get it but I don't care, I can't peel myself away from the video.
That with not happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO SMART FOR THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAYBE A ROUND UP OF SCRAP LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL SAMUEL BACON
Matching the Yellow paint at the store instead of buying from Deere is one of the neat tricks you can learn from Jesse so I guess that's why I keep watching.
The video is well designed and assembled. It brings back fond memories of our Michigan family farm shop. We had a caterpillar dozer all torn apart in front of the shop. Parts were everywhere . We finally got the dozer put together over the winter. We used the dozer to clear stumps in our farm fields. We'd dynamite the stumps and push them out. Those were the days. Alas the Army drafted me off the farm, sent me to the fields of Vietnam '68. I got blown up. All the farm is memories. Trees now grow in the fields. The farm shop with all its tools are gone. My father and brothers are in the grave. R.I.P. My next door farm neighbor, Alexander Zsigo was killed in Vietnam the month I got drafted. Look him up. God help us.
Another job well done Jesse and crew. Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing. Praying everyone has a great week. Certainly a Happy Father's day. ☝🙏🙌💪👊
From TX, Saturday after lunch & for desert... a Jesse Muller video...sweeet. Garage adventures in Jesse's classroom. Thanks for sharing bro. Stay safe, strong and healthy. ☝🙏🙌💪
She's beautiful, Jesse!!! I know she's not finished yet, but I hope she will last you a good long time in this condition. The fact that you didn't spend a lot of money on it helps take the sting out of putting so much time into it. Great job, Jesse, Pat and Lucas!!!
Nice rebuild video's. All that work and not a hydraulic cylinder was touched. Gotta be a record. Love the paint job. The drone angle was the best when you were moving that dirt. Straight down from the front of the overhang, not so much.
Dearest Jesse, I am glad that so many of your viewers, including me, are here watching and caring about you so much as to mention for you to take care of yourself while doing all this kind of work with whatever machine you are working on, and you memtioning that you know your Physical limits🙂 Just shows you how many others that are watching, care about you. Not saying anything here you don't already know, but noticed that you really need to address and relace a lot of the boards on your low boy trailer. WOW what a difference in the roller you and Pat took out of the machine your working on, compaired to the ones you got from CT. So Glad that you noticed the old battery cable in such a shambles as it was, cause you could of been hurt really bad, along with the machine as well. so God is watching out for you and guiding you hands and eyes in all this. what I love about your videos, is that you explain things, and your poresaverence in tackling each job to get it done correctly, even when most would just give up, you followed though with everything. Hoping that the remaining of finisheing the Garage will be in a video coming soon, with the doors and the the spay insulation and the Heated floors and such hooked up🙂.
Great video 👍Showing us all up and getting the job done.If you need to remove a large broken bolt remove the flux from a arc welder rod soak in water and gouge out the old bolt😊
Wow what a difference your loader has now.. I like that you are a clean freek and fix with painting is 3 pluses.. Great video and job Jessy and thanks..
I don't know how you make your videos that immersive...I was literally wrenching with you the whole time...and yes, sometimes I was in the way also... 😂😉 Thanks a lot! 👍👍👍
I have turned my daughter to the Muller side she loves watching your vids and gets all giddy when she hears you and pat say ITS GOOD... keep the long vids coming man we can't wait to see your next.
Your amazing skills keep me coming back. I have to say that now you have a shop, you are going to need Safe practices. For example: when you propped up the Telehandlers boom with just a 2 x 4 and stacking several 2x4's on top of one another to hold a track loader up in the air and allowing your beautiful children to play around all this. Make your environment a safe environment. That way you and those that help you keep all their fingers and toes and we can watch you take on many more projects. "Safety First " my friend. More important than finishing a project quickly is to finish a project safely. Your awesome Jesse. Keep filming for us.
Use a needle scaler on that rod to get heavy stuff off, then us two different grits of emery cloth to shine it up too also,,,that's the way I did mine also...
Jesse, your time is definitely worth something, especially a person is talented as you. That said, if you're having fun and enjoying yourself and can afford to take time from your other projects to do this or need to take time from your other projects to do this so you don't go crazy, it's a great use of your time and talents. Blessings on you and your family on this Father's Day.
A dependable addition now to your existing fleet and for a few weeks of work and a little cash. I’m sure you’ll find work for it soon enough. Nice job!
Hi Jesse. Love your videos. I was a dealership mechanic for many years. I won’t criticize you about not using equipment to do you lifting. Because I was another. One who felt I was strong enough thought I was lifting correctly my buddies called me Popeye because my forearms were huge. BUT I ended up having 2 back surgeries. First time was a herniated disc. Second time was of ruptured disc, which damaged my sciatic nerve. I lost the feeling in half the muscles don’t work in my left leg now. I’m 65 years old and my body is broken. I went into working for Electronics company after that ended up having to quit doing that after 15 years because my knees went bad. then I spent 15 years as an over the road truck driver to finish my career at 65. Physically I’m a mess. Don’t make the mistakes I have and take your health for granted because you’re strong. All it takes is a little slip or lift something incorrectly and your life is ruined. Not saying this to be critical. I’m just telling you because the last 25 years have been hell and I can barely move around now. I go out to do work in my yard now that I’m retired. I last about one and 1/2 or two hours at most and I have to go get off my feet because I’m in so much pain. Don’t take your health for granted.
Im sorry to hear that. I did twist my back one time raking concrete on my roof, that hurt for a few weeks. I have always had good posture so that helps usually but I try not to lift with my back, only legs and stomach. Everyone around me has back problems. I will be careful
Nice job there Jesse and crew. Looks fantastic! In light of what we now know about Andrew's excavator, might be worth putting a 20lb extinguisher or two round your workshop along with smaller ones on each machine. It's cheap insurance. *Thank You* for the video. 👍👍
Couldn’t tell what size that rod was, but crc hydraulics has good prices. I checked a 2” induction hardened chrome rod 24-30” long is about $150. Not sure what machining it would need, but it might be worth looking at.
yea I would just need a piece about 12" or less and then you weld it to a pipe for the rest of the way. I found the whole thing already done for about $400 but I realized I dont need it, it doesnt leak at all and tightens the track really good
Unfortunately, I started watching this video when I should be trying to go to sleep. I know I can pause it, but I'd rather finish it. Happy Father's Day Jesse! I hope you have a great (relaxing) day! P.S. I've been watching your videos for years and realize you DO have a strong back. However, I'm a Physical Therapist and one's back is only strong until it isn't. I'm not lecturing, just concerned. I have a herniated disc which acts up maybe once a year (if I turn quickly or have bad form at the gym.) The cause of that herniation was a 500 lb patient (in hospital) who decided they were done walking and my injury was caused by me trying to ease their fall.
16:24 I probably would have tried stuffing a rag in it to begin with, and then when you were done scraping out the seal, tip it over on its side and pull out the rag. Just a little trick I do sometimes
It’s been almost 40 years ago I bought a 450, and sprockets, rollers, chains and lot of new bolts and drilling, welding and taping, then clutches, hoses and wiring. Was a project and enjoyed it then but at almost 70 now I wouldn’t want to tackle it today. I’m on my last project building a old 97 3/4 ton dodge now and that’s tuff enough.
That was a mammoth watch and better than anything on TV, I gotta say there is nothing lacking in your work ethic, fantastic job, fantastic video, Thanks for sharing it, I loved watching it. Oh and you probably already know but you live in an amazing part of an amazing country, the sun on the tree shots were really really nice.
Great job on this project. They always seem to spiral once you get into them. I never would have thought of using a brush to paint it. It came out looking really good and as you say, no overspray everywhere. Look forward to your next projects.
Getting use of the new shop i see, i follow countless automotive channels on youtube so much so i dont have count anymore. And u are the only one that have build a new big shop that have gotten better after bulding the shop, so many of the others when they build a new big shop, their content gets worse and even uppload less, so i really looking foreward following you for years to come, great channel and great skills!😉
In regard to your request for input on having another channel with your kids and target shooting/hunting. First of all, really enjoy your channel. IMHO one of the best out there. The content is always interesting to me and your videography skills are excellent. Also your narration is always concise, and just the right amount. And also of most importance to me is that you don’t have any imbedded endorsements for products. I find that so annoying. Seems like any channel that is popular at some point they start pitching potions (AG) and stuff that has absolutely no connection with the channel content. I call it the RUclips money syndrome. More and more and more. Anyway, I think you should stick to what you do best and what has made your channel successful. Go have fun with the family and be in the moment with them. No cameras, no staging, no hours and hours of editing. They will appreciate it and notice the attention is on spending time with them. They grow up so fast.
This was really interesting Jesse, i learned a lot from you. Just had my 84th birthday recently on May 30, you have been teaching me a lot about many things engineering included. Maybe i'm your oldest subscriber, although i doubt it having regard to this type of man stuff video. Thank you Jesse regards to you, Paddy and Lucas. Uncle Bob. New Zealand.
watching you work on your tractor reminds me of my "chores" when i was in high school .... welding and building up tracks, idlers and drive socket ,,, it usually took over 50 lbs of rod to finish just on side ....
6/15/24..final assembly & run test on JD 450 Track Loader.. A+ Jesse ! Lots of time & dedication = the successful results we see here today. Great job! Stay safe & carry on👨🔧👍👍👍🍺😊
Hey Jesse, you might want to throw a good coat of heat reflective paint on the top off the roof there. Even with open sides and the height of it, you'll still get a lot of heat coming through that metal onto your head.
You must be doing something right, the experts really showed up for this one. But of course none of them have videos showing how they would do things correctly lol. You're doing a great job as always, just ignore the noise.👍
If you're going to be doing more content like this it might be worth looking into dry ice cleaning equipment I've seen it used on cars for detailing and restoration it has an amazing finish to it far better than you would get with any other cleaners out there
Jesse, your 450 is looking pretty nice. As for the tracks, I think you would be better off with the ones you have on there now since a loader does a lot of turning and not so much pushing as a dozer. I really enjoyed this nice long video, keep them coming.
My up bringing consisted of Sunday afternoon visits to the local scrapyards (6 if memory serves me right, lol). So I was destined to end up working with heavy plant, lol. With the over complication (Computer chips and that) of most modern cars/plant, the repair skill set is rapidly being lost. Forget about thinking outside the box to repair or achieve your goals. Everything is manufactured to be disposables (Often with built-in obsolescence). Oh, sorry almost forgot, great video, lol. High-tech, I fear, often means low skill (For the end user, obviously).
Picasso has your equipment lookin good. A lot of patience to get through all the rust and grime for the paint to adhere. Hope it operates as good as the paint job makes it look.
Hey Jesse! Love watching everything you do especially the mechanical side. John over at farm craft used pc-7 epoxy on some hydraulic cylinders he was working on to smooth the pitting out and protect the seals from getting messed up. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on the track tensioners. Good luck
Saturday morning "Jesse" video, a nearly 3 hour video, on a Saturday morning when I should be outside doing my yard work. When my wife gets home, I'm going to get it but I don't care, I can't peel myself away from the video.
Too damn hot to be outside. Think of your health.
Love it.. Jesse videos are the only ones on RUclips I can watch 2 -3 hrs..
YOUz ain't too bright1
When you chage from flux core to solid wire you must change the polarity too.
I’m waiting for the video of “buying and fixing burned out excavator” 😁🖖
That with not happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO SMART FOR THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAYBE A ROUND UP OF SCRAP LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL SAMUEL BACON
Too soon 😂
excavators are my favorite machine so I already have some plans for a few of those coming up very soon. I need an excavator for each piece of property
I can hear Andrew’s voice “so someone bought it”
Andrew's first phone call😂
You and Pacific Northwest Hillbilly always go to the top of my playlist.
Matching the Yellow paint at the store instead of buying from Deere is one of the neat tricks you can learn from Jesse so I guess that's why I keep watching.
The video is well designed and assembled. It brings back fond memories of our Michigan family farm shop.

I'm always excited when your videos come out. You could do 45 minute videos in separate parts and I would still watch them all. Thanks!!!!
the sheer amount of dedication you have to fix old stuff is amazing !!
A good parts washer is a garage’s best tool for working on old equipment. Especially when everything is gummed up and greasy
Yeah reassembling with dirty parts is wild lol
Matt (Diesel Creek) got one recently, and it works really well!! I hope Jesse will get one for his shop too. Will make life a bit easier for him.
For some of the smaller parts, an old dishwasher with a hot wash is pretty good.
There’s nothing that you can’t do,you have such a great attitude and work ethics, I tip my hat to the man.
Your one of the hardest workers on RUclips. Keep up the good work
@@markhaszoe-life6337 that is well said.. Jessi we all love what you do and never ever give up. Hug bro
I really enjoyed watching you bring the 450 loader back to life.

you are the freaking man! I have an old 78 Ford pick-up that is fighting me at every corner to fix up. You just inspired me to keep going!!!!!!!!

That was super awesome restoration Jesse I take my hat to you I love what you did great great job 👏 👏

Nice little tractor.
Thanks for taking us along. When it slipped off the jack was ready to call 911 for you.
👏👏
Love the longer vids Jesse..big love n pozz vibes from the wild hills of North Wales 🏴 U.K.
The B and the C part of this video made me chuckle as you said it as I was thinking the same exact thing 😂🏴👍🏻
Incredible! The loader is so happy to be in Jesse's care, for sure.
Use a needle scaler on that rod to get heavy stuff off, then us two different grits of emery cloth to shine it up too also,,,that's the way I did mine also...
That machine has balls. You did a good job with it. Great video, Jesse!!
Another excellent video and highly entertaining as usual 👍👍🇬🇧
When installing the light bar you could also install a few USB charging ports with plugs to keep moisture out of them. Or not. 👍👍👍
That shop went straight into use big time. The loader turned out really nice, tons of work there.

I've seen many people just use a torch to burn off caked on grease, which makes cleanup so much easier.
Nice to see you working in that new garage too

Wise words of warning....one awkward lift, done in an instant and regretted for the rest of your life. Back injuries are lifechanging.
@@jmuller86 I think posture is huge too. 30+ years of bad posture really messed up my back I realized.

The final drives, idlers, sprockets and track frames made the trip well worth it.

A great conclusion to a rebuild even if it's not the best dozer/loader. You can still use it to get what you need to do, done. Great job Jesse.

Picasso has your equipment lookin good. A lot of patience to get through all the rust and grime for the paint to adhere. Hope it operates as good as the paint job makes it look.
Love your videos Jesse. Keep up the good work. Peace from Denmark
Great job rehabbing an old machine. Looks great and the canopy is awesome
Wedge the rod flat, then emery clothe around the rusty part till it’s smooth to the touch. Then clean it good and use POR rust inhibiter coating.
You need a lot of patience to work on stuff like this, always impressed with how you keep your cool. I'm not so good at that.
Hey Jesse! Love watching everything you do especially the mechanical side. John over at farm craft used pc-7 epoxy on some hydraulic cylinders he was working on to smooth the pitting out and protect the seals from getting messed up. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on the track tensioners. Good luck
Nice video, Jessie and company.
It is a blessing to to have the garage. Great video.
