thank you for sharing your journey. it is more than a travel log. It is about the reality of Nomads,, enduring the weather, climbs, stomach problems, a meal as well as the beauty of Peru. Bike touring is not all about sunshine, smiles and roses. Making vlogs is hard work and you two a great job telling stories and showing the country. Safe travels.
Wunderbar! So schön nach Peru ruckzukehren nach 12 Jahren. I am inspired to bring my bike this time and see some more of this land of Extremes. Thank you for keeping it real (getting sick and having blowouts) all the while keeping a smiling spirit for your adventure of a lifetime. Thanks again and know you have a fan for life
Oh my goodness...you two are SO tough and SUCH an inspiration to us. We were nervous with you out on those incredibly remote roads, with the river crossings, big mining trucks, illness, -14 degrees celcius, high altitudes, and busy windy coastal highway! Well done. If you can do this, you can do anything! Can't wait to see what's next! (Tom and Kerry sitting lazily on the couch in Vernon, BC)!
Impressive ! Sceneries and river crossings... and of course being sick and weak in the middle of nowhere... You are really tough and strong minded. You toally deserved the applause at the reaching of the tunnel (real one and metaphoric too).
I am only halfway the video but what a beautiful landscape and scenery! 😮 You guys filmed it beautifully too, with such fitting music, my compliments for that!
Epic is one word with which I would describe not just Peru's landscapes, but you two! An epic couple. I wish you both excellent health and with that you will find many new adventures and add to your treasured memories. . ❤❤❤
Louisa is so funny: She'll be in the tent in freezing cold, raining and discussing how miserable it is then say "Ya!" and She'll be all optimistic about what you're doing next. You go Louisa. You guys are incredible where you cycle! Safe Travels!
My goodness! Amazing stuff!! What an inspiration you two are for us! All that riding and eating well.. I always worry what you will do when you get sick.. Nicely done video!
The ability to push yourself physically and mentally, in such challenging conditions, day after day, and still remain positive. I am inspired by both of you.👏👏
Well, bicycle world tour is a big word and is currently being used in an inflationary way. Here it fits 100%. This video is exceptional. My respect for this physical and mental suffering that made it possible to see such great recordings. THANK YOU Bernhard
I am with you again this morning ~ Just saw the cooking video ~ Brilliant ~. I feel honored to see what you guys are doing or (have done) here. Just great. ✨🌸🙏🌸✨
Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us. Such stunning views! And thank you for keeping it so real. You are officially my favourite cycling couple have come across so far! Stay safe and keep on riding!
Super video, thank You! I appreciate Your efforts to film and cycle :) I spent some time in South America, and crossed Peru twice during my journeys, and I would say that this country is the most rewarding and challenging for cycling. Lots of passes, ups and downs and superb views. Keep going, good luck!
A particularly excellent video! Thanks for relating local information about the people and culture along with your personal adventures. This video is excellent! I know how much work it takes to make these. The music an videography is excellent. Great style and content. So wish I could do this! Thanks Andrew
Great Peru ! It is sad to see how the mining is destroying the landscapes, but yeah... that are we, the humans; that strange species on earth. Thanks again for sharing !
What a beautiful and challenging journey and you completed it with such grace. The documentary was so well done; thanks for sharing and best wishes for your continued exploration.
This was the most exciting and best episode so far. Awesome performance with the heavy bikes! The shots of this landscape are perfectly implemented and the new style in the moderation is a nice goody. Thank you!
Was für ein fantastisches Video!!! Vielleicht euer bestes bisher! Danke für das tolle Entertainment, den tollen Reisebericht und und die teilweise persönlichen Einblicke! Liebe Grüße aus dem Taunus, Frank
G'day guys. Hey this is my country---Awesome! Glad to know you were in the Land of The Inkas (my land). Epic views indeed! Take care of you and thanks for sharing. LIKE
Love this video! I do like long format videos. Thank you for sharing your Peruvian adventures, good and bad! You've given me something more to think about, as to which routes to take. Stunning scenery, environmental damage, fantastic people, rubbish weather, stomach issues: some of them may not be fun at the time, but it's all part of the adventure! Can't wait for the next one, now!
Thank you! 😊 We’ve thought about sending it to some festivals, but first we’d have to clear the usage / distribution rights for the music & animated google maps. But we’ll see! 😅
Wow, you are both so strong and tough, mentally and physically. What a fantastic journey through Peru, I was sorry to see you both very sick. I know how bad abdominal cramp and pain can be, as I have had Crohn’s disease for over 35 years. You are both super humans to continue cycling. It is great to see you both smile when you reach the top of a hard hill climb or reach a goal etc. Your films are excellent I watch each one two or three times. Good luck, take care and I look forward to the next epic episode. Well done, best regards, Chris from UK.
Welcome back 🤗🤗 I’ve miss you guys. This video would have to be your best up to date 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 And little lady I love your little smile it really makes my day when I see your smile 👌. Also the camera work you both do on push bikes is just incredible and at a very high standard, Just incredible.. Thanks guys you both rock 💪💪💪💪💪
You guys are amazing! I found your channel last week and have watched HOURS of videos. One constructive criticism, I wish you included links to the music you pick, but you do so much already. Loving the music as well as the journeys. Stay safe wherever you go.
Best video to date sorry to see yous were unwell hope you are keeping well now . Louise is so strong for someone so thin and has a beautiful personality she would be so enjoyable to cycle tour with .Take good care of her and look after yourself have a safe journey I have followed you from day one .. from Ireland.
I had to laugh at your lentil meal at 41.00 as I had a very similar meal today, only with extra vegetables and potatoes. Then I remembered that potatoes originate in the Peruvian Andes, and googled that wild potato plants were found around Lake Titicaca about 7,000 years ago!
I'm very happy to see you guys again! It was one of the most interesting episodes of your journey videos. Keep it up! I wish you continued success and lots of experiences!
Thank you so much for this incredable adventure. We can imagine a tiny little bit of the circumstances you travel in because we did quite some travelling ourselves. (Cycling and hiking, backpacking). In 1985-1986 we cycled from the Netherlands to Israel, also wild camping and asking people if we could pitch our tent for one night. Still have warm feelings on the hospitality of all these lovely people. Travel a lot as long as you're young. We stil enjoy our shorter trips now. Good luck to you and stay safe. Henk (65) and Lucie(68), the Netherlands.
Another great video guys 👍 I’ve been watching from your start and your videos are very interesting and well edited, and I think this one took it to a new level ! All the best Toby and Louisa, and here’s to you having a great 2023 🙏
Kudos, you are two tough people. I used to regularly get sick like you when I was in the Peace Corps in Africa and to see you ride in that condition is truly amazing. Good luck with the rest of your journey.
I'm so amazed by the ultimate stream of epic shots combined with your enthusiasm, it is all mind blowing and so beautiful!. So sorry about the front wheel ...
Really nice episode, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Also great to see that a second hand bike suits well for a world tour and not the newest and most expensive equipment us needed. Mine bike us second hand, too - a Koga World Traveller S. - and I love it. ;-) Probably one suggestion from my side: The front stand for the Tubus Tara Lowrider in combination with a "traditional" Pletscher back stand is super sturdy even with many bags and might be a little more practical than your solution with a trekking pole. As seatpost, I use the BySchultz G.2 and am very happy with it for now. Probably it might be a good replacement for yours. Cheers from Friesland, Johannes
The practicality of our stands is actually the main reason we use them. They hold in absolutely every environment, on every surface, with heavy wind, etc. 😊
really sorry you both got diarrhea, so had to rest for a week. I think you two are very strong to push the bike up the rocky road uphill. I hope you can always complete the bikepack route as expected
