I mean, yeah it isn't bad, and prob a great steal for new to mid players, but get to endgame and sure, it can hang in a skilled players hands, anythign can, but at peak end of the skill spectrum, where 5/5 roses, igneouses, Pali's, Fatebringers, a decently rolled Better Devils is not going to hang. The counter to a godroll Better Devils in late game is to simply backup and outrange it. No one is talking about it because the content creators are all at the end of that skill spectrum for th emost part. Not saying it shouln't be talked about, there needs to be content for players that aren't no lifing the game, but I'm just saying why no youtuber is talking about it really.
if that was the reason you'd never see content creators bother to even look at seasonal weapons because with that mindset theres literally zero reason to ever use anything outside of the trials/comp and raid weapons because they're just better than everything else
@acardboardbox29 there isn't really a reason to. From a RUclips perspective, it's easy content. From a gameplay perspective, it's weapons tailored to casuals who can't do lategame stuff (and I don't use casuals to imply something negative, just people who don't no life the game).
@@flusteredweasel7483 even with that, I'd expect to see atleast a couple videos on better devils and I've seen a total of like two not counting my own, because it is easy views and outside of a pvp perspective, which considering it is the majority of players I would've thought there'd be a large amount of people using better devils at its literally A the best strand HC and B arguably the second best kinetic slot handcannon to midnight coup because of its excessive amount of utility perks and subclass synergy theres the argument of having to do PvP but I would hope the average player isn't the ones you'd find on twitter that lament even the idea that its in the game
@acardboardbox29 @acardboardbox29 I can see where you're coming from. There's other better in slot handcannons like Fatebringer (kinetic) and Loud Lullaby (strand) in the Kinetic Slot for PVE, but if you approach it with the perspective of a player who doesn't have DLC's or doesn't do raiding, then yeah I could see where you could rank it that high. I'll say this, for a player who has no way of accessing the end game via raid team or dlc, the Betterdevils is absolutely an above average handcannon for how little effort is needed to get it.
Gun is really mid, and it gets rolled by alot of other 140s not to mention it doesn't handle well as them. The gun is ok at best, but literally nothing to discuss about it since most d2 people have something just better. This gun had its time to shine when d2 released and it coming back did nothing for the gun except remind people that it's in the game.
That's what I'm saying god few god rolls n honestly they feel great this might b crazy but it feels almost better than rose jus my opinion but great video
I know for a lot of people hcs tend to be a feel thing over a objectively this is better thing so that might be why, just make sure to use whatever feels good and you'll most likely be able to compete as well as if not better than some guy just using rose because its the best
I'm actually surprised ppl are still talking about it
it is decent so its worth giving some attention
As you should be
Is chris griffin on your fireteam? Wow.
Should I chase this gun?
I use malfeasance for everything rn and I can make it 3 tap in PvP so I haven't done it yet. :/
I noticed the slight bump in rpm, I think it’s a bugged 150, not 140
I'm certain its definitely a 140 still but that'd definitely be interesting
its def a 140 but i agree i think the recoil is bugged its feels like a 150 and i main sunshot so i would know.
