The indepth video of the slip cork! If y'all have any questions about it please feel free to let us know in the comments below. We're waiting for the wind to go down so we can hit the jetties up. Thanks for watching!
You guys are too kind sharing years of trial and era to help everyone out. Thanks Matt I prefer the rubber band method doesnt get stuck to the guides even when you're casting.
Crazy I just stumpled upon this guys channel in Castroville TX learned the rig and what do you know here they come walking down the jetties with to huge Jacks I'm like what ! Glad I was able to thank them in person for the info they showed me on this video
Thank you for the kind words, Moises, it was nice meeting you out there! I hope the slip float worked for you, I have a ton of videos that I need to edit including those Jacks, just need to find time to get around to it.
I've thought about it before, but considering we are such a small channel, whether or not the logistics of ordering custom shirts would be feasible or not I do not know. I do appreciate you inquiring about them though, maybe if enough people were interested that would be something we could make happen.
Thank so much, for sharing your knowledge, wish I can catch big sheepshead on a jetty in California, I heard they taste like shrimp. What is the best months to fish for sheepshead in your area???
The Sheepshead here primarily eat crustaceans, that's why they can usually be found hugging the rocks. In my opinion I think they honestly do taste like a Shrimp/Fish hybrid, very tasty with a white chunky meat. The best months for Sheepshead are usually from February-April when they are all stacked up to spawn.
Hey Matt ! Back in 90 me my brother and Paul was using lemon floats at Cole Park pier and some Tourist girls said in Spanish look how stupid these men are they are trying to catch fish with lemons. When Paul told us what they had said we couldn't stop laughing ...

The carolina rig is a good, simple, effective rig, but with the slip cork you can cover more water.

@@jimmywilkinson9190 Nice! I heard back in the day they used to catch 25" Trout left and right compared to nowadays.
Jack'em up! Now if only the wind would stop, I could go fish.
Yeah no kidding! We'll be out there again soon.
If we were boyfriends we would just fish everyday and quit our jobs
