Nice review. Thank you. I’d never heard of this synth until Cherry Audio released this emulation. As usual they have done a superb job. I own a lot of Cherry Audio products and I suspect I’ll be getting this synth too.

You're not wrong. Cherry Audio seem to be on a massive roll at the moment recreating these gems in software form.

got a lot of the 🍒 synths and I try mod their example's
but the best vst synth I got is a freebee VITAL
it just knocks 🍒 audio right out cold.
its much better its amazingly good and free
with a few examples thrown in damn
its just so deep you can get some very good
sounds with no real arse ing about.
you can bodge together some amazing sounds
instantaneously and not so ram hungry like
the 🍒 stuff.. the VITA examples you can strip right
back to a core or just adjusting an effect really does
    do something unlike 🍒 emulations.
you really do find something new and VITAL just a half tweek away.

For the most part a characterizational comparison of any of the Cherry Audio synthesizers to either Vital or Serum or any other current wavetable synthesizer is more or less an apples to oranges comparison since the Cherry Audio synthesizers are elaborate recreations of historical synthesizers. These are synthesizers that we essentially seek out for the characteristics that they represent from the historical perspective and many cases new functionality is added to them that was not available on the original hardware. We never represent that anyone product is better than another and while Vital a popular synthesizer with us we could also add to that list SurgeXT, Icarus 3, Pigments and others. We just love to make all of these available to our viewers.
