Link’s “I stand behind the choice I made by accident” needs to be chiseled onto stone somewhere
Would be perfect on a grave stone
I think he would do leagues better in some of these games if he just made random guesses and didnt think about it. Who knows, maybe hes just insanely lucky and doesn't even need to give an opinion
Master Oogway would be proud.
It was funny but, chisel bro? Why going that far?
@@langtryvlogme because even separated from Link the quote is still stands
It’s weird to think I’ve spent more time watching these two than probably any other sitcom in my lifetime.
yeah, same tbh
Yea same
I had that realization the other day - Rhett and Link have been a daily staple for me for 10 frikkin years.
you sure this is a sitcom?
The content is strangely captivating.
"It tastes like something used in the manufacturing of shorts!" that got me good 🤣😂
Zipper oil 😂🤣
I thought he was going to make a Cotton joke since the oil was cottonseed and shorts can be manufactured from cotton.
I’ll never look at zippers OR oil the same way again 😂
@@Benni777 or shorts
SAME
“I stand by the choice I made by accident” is quintessential Link at this point 🤣
“i love the peanut oil. it’s expensive though it’s tough to get a big jar of it” was the cutest dad rhett moment i’ve ever seen it made me giggle
I loved that moment too
The entirety of St. Louis is quaking over the disgust of toasted ravioli
lmao I thought the exact same thing when they were not fans of it. St. Louis is either going to be infuriated or in deep sorrow
He called us a desperate place 😢
F
Don't know if I have ever had them plain without something to dip them in.
Cheese ravioli?!?! Noooooo
You can see Rhett contemplating all his life decisions after learning where the corn oil was for the fried chicken. 😂
Link feed the ducks bread...now they are feeding him. The circle of life!
Fed*
Can't believe Rhett missed the obvious "lipoducktion" pun haha
Link is vibing this episode. My dude is just having a good time haha
you know what that's a pretty good observation my man 👍
Me, a St Louisan, seeing toasted ravs: “😍”
Link: “It’s an abomination.”
Me: “😢”
Born and raised St. Louis snd I thought the same thing. So excited to see this. Then immediately heartbroken by link's comment lol.
Italians agree with him
As a Kansas Citian, I knew one of y'all would be in the comments after he said that. Toasted ravs are the best thing in STL!
Same
Ikr. I love em
You make being sick so much better! Stay or get healthy everybody 🙏🍲
Feel better soon! ❤️🩹
Same, sick for almost a week already :( Watching their videos make it better :)

I never knew that the type of oil you use affects food in many ways! maybe Sporked can do a taste test of the best oils?
Yes!!
I think the standard is canola oil or peanut oil.
@@Vlad2319 peanut is standard i think is what Nicole said in the episode :)
Is interesting because what type of oil is used most varies a bunch depending on where in the world you are.
@@Vlad2319 I've never even heard of peanut oil. In my country the standard is sunflower oil.
Little known fact: Cotton seed oil was a machine lubricant, and they were scrambling to find a way to improve bottom line. Cooking g in the oil was suggested.
so they kinda had it! nice
Link is one of the only people who will ask a question and speak over the answer.😂
Sadly, there are many.
Oh I know a person just like that
Stevie saying "rhetorical question" makes me really want to see an episode based on "RHETTorical questions" where it's just Rhett giving his spin on random things.
RhettOracle?
@@claire778 only if he sits in a tripod over top of a natural gas vent like the one from delphi
@@homelessrobot Fine with the tripod but I think Rhett can spout plenty of natural gas of his own with no need for any other source.
I learned more of what NOT to fry things in than I did of what to actually fry in. Link was very helpful.
Props to this channel for being around for literally ever. Talk about consistency
As a Missourian i am appalled at the toasted ravioli slander 😭😭😂
I want Nicole to know that when she starts talking and link talks over her, I keep listening to her 😊
This is really sweet ❤ I love Nicole, she's a saint 😂 and super talented too!
I love link but he gotta stop doing that 😭
Nicole, you are seen and you are heard !
As a duck mom of 8 I can relate to Link not wanting to eat things that involve ducks haha.
And it's not their fault they waddle, but I'm so glad they do because when they run its the best thing ever! 🦆
I just love how they always, ALWAYS have so much joy in their faces, EVERY TIME. Its absolutely inspiring.
I would too if I was making millions just being crazy and having fun on the internet and not having to go to a real job every day
"See now I don't like it anymore" should be Link's T-shirt slogan. 😂
I see Rhett's internal crisis as he stares at the peanut oil chicken, knowing he liked the corn oil better.
"No nuts, just dough" One of my favorite Nicole lines ever
No nuts, just Doh! Now it's an iconic Homer Simpson line.
Deep fried ravioli is good, but to be fair you're supposed to dip it in red sauce
Yeah. I'm thinking that's why they didn't like it. I used to make fried ravioli a lot, but I would never have eaten it without some marinara for dipping.
@@JessieHTX If a good isn't good without a dip, is it even good?
it's overrated imo
@@vivalanina if you haven't had them from IMOs in STL or STL in general, you probably haven't had a good one and def need to!. If you have had them from the OG place, fair enough. 👍
It’s also not supposed to be cheese ravioli. It’s supposed to be beef
It's so weird not seeing sunflower oil or olive oil as those are the most common where I live. (And rapeseedoil but that's almost the same as canola oil)
Olive oil is for cooking, not frying. Olive oil is not neutral.
Obviously where u live is not the norm
They did what to those seeds?!
Sunglower oil is definetly the best best Fries though
Yea
9:56 I think this show has finally given Link PTSD 😂
I thought he was getting Rick eggrolled again
Let's not use ptsd in jokes, be more mythical.
@@lauralanthalasa7 considering what he's eaten and his reactions to them, I don't think you should be so dismissive
@@timcook247 read the og comment again. My comment still stands.
In the old days, lard was most often used in deep frying. It got hotter for extra crispy things like fries. Then it became "unhealthy" and we've been in the soggy fries era ever since.
Now we're being told crisco (cottonseed oil), soy, canola, corn, etc are healthy but heart disease has sky rocketed.
Just today I made tilapia fried in olive oil & it was delicious
I’m gonna practice that Link move on the dance floor, I’ll let you know how it goes
What mutated monster chickens do you guys in the US have? Those are some massive chicken pieces.
They forcefeed them corn in factory farms. Makes them humongous, as they’re specifically bred for size.
It's actually the breed that americans use called Cornish Crosses. They grow gigantic in about 2 months.
They look Delicious 😋
Good Mythical Morning everyone! Have a great day! Half way through the week!
@Jonny Sins funny seeing you here
I’d be interested to see the reverse of this episode, like have multiple foods fried in one type of oil and see which food works best for the oil.
As born and raised in St. Louis my whole life(where toasted ravies “originate” and are at every restaurant), they are not overkill! Delicious af. The superior way to eat ravies…imo. 😁
I see what you did there haha. “IMO”
YESSIRRRR, toasted ravs is one (of the very few)reasons I have pride in the Midwest hahah
Toasted ravs, Imo's pizza, and some gooey butter cake at the end of the day.. that's some good St. Louis food right there
All the STL mythical beasts here to defend the TRavs 😤
T ravs rule!!
*they prefer peanut oil fried chicken….
*eats the peanut oil fried chicken
“I don’t like this one!” 😂😂😂
They skipped so many oils..we need a part two for the rest
Avocado oil!!
Vegetable oil !
Sunflower oil, sesame oil etc etc.
Have they done a best hamburger helper taste test? I think that would be fun.
Odd that sunflower oil wasn't used at all. Yet this is here in NL and more parts of Europa mostly used
Totally. I haven't even tried peanut oil
Sunflower oil is awesome with fried chicken
Or olive oil 🤔
Link has no problem eating chicken but get's a strange feeling when eating duck oil hahahaha
Before knocking on T-ravs anymore, come to St. Louis who are all about T-ravs! Love you guys!
Toasted ravioli deserves more respect here. Get some real ones from St. Louis.
Agreed, with some homemade marinara sauce.
Between today's slander of Toasted Rav and Josh's previous slander of STL style Pizza I'm not sure Mythical is allowed in St. Louis anymore.
right 😭😤
When did Josh slander STL style pizza?😂😂😂
I missed the pizza one but yeah they may not want to go to the Hill anytime soon
The hill is the best place to get real authentic food ❤ love all those little restaurants 🥰
Deep fried ravioli is the bomb, especially with marinara!
love how link makes everyone laugh
immediate prediction at the beginning: this much oil soaked foods will have them feeling *so* tired by the end of the episode lmao
I’ve spent the last 6 years watching these guys, never gets old.
I never thought about the fact that for Rhett and Link, the plates would be in 4,3,2,1 order.
Good Morning Mythical Beasts! Hoping it’s the best one yet for you!
Thank you, Tristan
I think Imo's would like a word with you guys over toasted ravioli!
My St. Louis soul is in so much pain after the toasted rav segment.
“Why would you deep fry ravioli?” - the men who deep fried a lemon
every person from St. Louis is so depressed at Rhett and Link's contempt for "toasted ravioli" lol
Love these guys! I've learned so much!
What did you learn
@@melsy9355 watch the video and you’ll learn too😌💕
Ericcc
deep fried ravioli is a classic in st louis called "toasted ravioli." everyone loves it here!
im italian ethnically and i LOVE deep fried ravis, now ill know to use certain oils!
Their shock at deep fried ravioli made me laugh in St. Louis XD
Pretty sure rapeseed oil is generally the most popular oil in Poland, but I think most people don’t deep fry things

GMM: clarified butter
Desi’s: It’s Ghee!!
Not always. Ghee is fermented. Clarified butter is just clarified
@@DizzyBusy ghee is clarified I’ve made it before
I think it would be interesting if you gave them any food item but all 4 of them cooked in the same oil then they proceed to try to tell them apart 😂😂
I need this
"peanut oil is the best to fry in" *immediately hates the peanut oil*
“No nuts, just dough” is the slogan for wealthy eunuchs everywhere
Toasted ravioli is huge in St. Louis. And so good when done right
Fun fact, canola oil is also known as rapeseed oil. Rapeseed is often sourced from Canada, which is why in the US we usually call it Canola Oil. It’s Canada oil lol
The bacon is bad. The Oil is bad. What's next? But Michael Scott would say, "They wouldn't make it if people didn't like it."
"Like oiling the zippers" what a legendary improv moment....
These guys are going to be the next generation sitcom and i am so happy that my kids will grow up with these boys
Why you didn't fry French fries in beef tallow is amazing to me. McDonald's used to do that, that's what made them the best fries in the game. McDonald's was pressured to change their oil to make their food seem "healthy" lol.
I’d love to see a peanut butter substitute episode, give some love to the fans allergic to peanuts. ❤
Yeah but they're conclusion would definitely be "nothing compares to real peanut butter"
It should be a Next Best Thing except just for alternative peanut butters
As someone who's allergic to both peanuts and most tree nuts, I really like sunflower butter. Soybean butter (i.e. Wowbutter) isn't very good.
Rhett wins by skill link always wins just by sheer luck lol
I was hoping to see more of choices of oils represented. Vegetable oil, flax seed oil, olive oil and grape seed oil are also popular oils for food preparation.
Corn and cottonseed oils are considered vegetable oils, it was represented.
Seeing those eggrolls, I realize how small my family’s lumpia are
I love lumpia!! My mom had a friend from the Philippines who taught her how to make it and it was soo good.
I prefer smaller lumpias. Better ration of fried part and steamed part.
I wish they had done some of the fries in beef tallow, it really is the best! Great episode!😋
Good mythical morning fry daddies!
Rhett is right about peanut oil being expensive. My local grocery store sells it for around $15 a pop. I think peanut oil is the third highest cooking oil on the market behind olive oil, and truffle oil.
I think avocado oil is pretty expensive too
Link dancing/dodging oil is...incredibly disturbing yet fascinating and shocking all at once lol
I love that there’s this version of Rhett and link, and then there’s the ear biscuits version. And we get both ❤
Rhett and Link are like the uncles I never had.
"Why would you deep fry ravioli" he asks. What I ask is why would you deep fry Snickers lol.
My great grandmother passed away a couple months from turning 100. She fried EVERYTHING in lard and to us potatoes are best in lard so I think yall had some bad or fake lard lol it makes everything better and not as bad for you as doctors would suggest because my great grandma Dorothy was healthy her whole life. All tests were great. Doctors always said she was healthier than them, she did end up with alzheimers but it wasn't as bad as it could've been.
Gives a whole new meaning to Duck Donuts
No it doesn't 😂
Well, I'm definitely going to eat egg rolls soon. Those sounded and looked so good.
rhett complaining about too much cheese as if he hasn't eaten ice-cream between two blocks of cheddar and liked it lmfao
I wish I could work in the Mythical Kitchen, but there aren't any positions available right now. I would move from Florida just to cook for y'all. You're still good.
I just love these food comparison episodes! Funny and informative about food = best combination!
coconut oil is insane with fries gives it a sweet flowery taste not to overpowering the smell and taste is addicting and it dosent leave your house smelling like a fast food resturant surprised i didn't see it in this round up
It's my first choice for plantains too!

At the very beginning, link shows how much "dad energy" he has 😂 he is SUCH a dad 😂😂😂
"Why would you deep fry ravioli?"
Every St. Louisan in the chat: why wouldn't you deep fry ravioli?
When she said the last one was the peanut oil Rhett was rethinking his whole existence lol
I've never heard them be called deep fried ravioli. I'm from St.Louis we call it toasted ravioli (toasted rav); I believe it originated here. Loved them a lot as a kid!
Fried chicken in lard is by far, the best way to cook it. It’s not even close.
St. Louis is the desperate place you speak of that serves toasted raviolis lol thanks for that Link!!
Weekends feel a bit more empty when there is no dose of mythical morning.
You forgot about Crisco vegetable shortening, olive oil, and of course there's others like avocado oil and grape seed oil and many more
Crisco yes, olive oil will burn in a deep fryer tho.
My mamaw ONLY used crisco, and her fried chicken was the BEST ever!
St. Louis guy here...we call them "toasted ravioli"
First...they HAVE to be beef ravioli.
Second...you MUST dip them in marinara.
Should do a show with meatloaf😀and guess a mystery flavor in it
The day they stop filming will be a day of sadness
One thing I can always rely on is a gmm episode
@13:40. that will be on a t shirt next week. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Link was so please with himself after he said that.
