She fried EVERYTHING in lard and to us potatoes are best in lard so I think yall had some bad or fake lard lol it makes everything better and not as bad for you as doctors would suggest because my great grandma Dorothy was healthy her whole life. All tests were great. Doctors always said she was healthier than them, she did end up with alzheimers but it wasn't as bad as it could've been.
