hey this actually worked lol. took me about 20 after the game to get the record button to show up. after i downloaded it my pc did warn me that the file might be malicious.. had to go to chrome downloads go get it. after i opened it, it opened a LOL spectate view.. works!! thanks

Does it play games from an older patch?? do i just need the batch to play the clip?? and if i play another game and get a different batch does the old one still work?
As I haven't recorded any games from previous patches (just started using it this patch) I can't say for sure, but I think so (no guarantee). You can record as many games and download one batch file for each and every one of them without a problem.

Well, usually you'd download the .bat file and this is the same as saving it basically. The problem is that right now I think that it's not working anymore some time after you've finished the game, but I might be mistaken on that.
Nexotix Gaming OP.GG is a mess right now, I don't know what's going on with them. The problem is on their end. The only thing you can do is wait until their service stabilizes.

OP.GG replays are also broken in 4.20 - sorry! They only work for a short amount of time after a game has ended until the spectator stream isn't available anymore (1 hour~?).

Maybe the service isn't working right now (do they support your region? check their faq) or the server was having issues. Recording won't work if spectating is enabled. Then again 4.17 broke all my replay programs, so I don't know what's wrong right now... :S
You recorded when u were playing then u showed how to get the replay. How did u record in game? I wanna do a full game recording not in spectator mode just in first person.
I also recommend BaronReplays. Last 2-5 minutes only? I just tried this actually and it works fine for me. Maybe try closing the game and starting the file once more?
Nope, you just have to click "Record" basically and then you can close Chrome and check back a day later (the replay should be there by then of course! :)).

Which region are you playing on? Also you server might be having issues. Also it might not work if you're playing a game that can't be spectated for various reasons.
Lou 1400 OP.GG is currently not working for me, but if it does for you then spectating isn't necessary. If a player is in game you can always record the match.
I downloaded the bat file but I have my default program to open bat files with is notepad++ cause I do programming, so I dont know how to open it. can anyone help?

Not sure if this works, but try pressing WIN+R (execute window pops up bottom left), make sure the textfield is empty and simply drag and drop the .bat file into it. See if that works (hopefully it won't open with notepad++ again).

MarkorikYe Nope. OP.GG uses batch files so you just need to open them and your lol client should start automatically. Also if you're on EUW you won't be able to use any replays because the spectator mode is down right now (has been for a few days).

But everytime I play a Champion like that, I lose agains ranged Champs like Jayce. Is Kennen viable and does he has a Chance against Bruisers? Sorry for so many questions and my bad english :o
Kennen isn't that strong in the current meta. I'd go for Riven and master her. If you learn the combos, animation cancelling and have good reaction you can easily climb the ladder with her. :P

Sibonyzz You might have to get the Korean client like I did. I recently downloaded tons of SKT 1 Easyhoon's replays from op.gg and could only play them with the Koren client. Not sure if you need the KR client for NA/EU too.

The record function is only available for the current game you are in so if you just play 10 games without ever going to the website, it won't record anything for you without your help. 2. It won't lag at all, because your PC isn't doing anything. You can even close your browser if you have a very slow machine you're playing on, because what the website does is basically spectating your game and saving a small .bat file that contains the link to your replay (which should be stored already as far as I know, Riot just hasn't released a replay system that let's you do this without the help of a third party). 3. If you want to post footage on RUclips you have to get the replay, play it and capture the screen with a program like Fraps, Open Broadcaster Software, DXTory, etc.

You have to press RECORD every game! :/ That's an advantage of being a popular streamer/high elo player because anybody can click on the record button, not just you. So chances are high one of your fans will click this regularly to watch your replays, but then you can access them too... :P Example: na.op.gg/summoner/userName=C9+Balls
You need to play the replay and capture your screen with the right software like Fraps or Open Broadcaster Software (or DXtory or XSplit or Bandicam...there are dozens of these). Then you might want to edit the clip and export it again (especially if you are using a rather uncompressed format like Fraps will give you) to save file size.

John Hoang wat? A VLC file? I think you mean the program VLC plays the file (and the icon looks like VLC's icon because that's your standard player). You need to learn A LOT before you can make your first video. I can't tell you everything, but google is your friend and a simple "how to make a league of legends video" search will tell you everything you need (unless you lack basic knowledge, but nobody has the time to teach you for hours how to use a computer...).

Nemanja Gega Well OBS is free but apparently it doesn't work for you? Most screen capturing software isn't free, but pretty cheap. Fraps is 20 bucks and DXtory is roughly the same.

You need to play the replay and capture your screen with the right software like Fraps or Open Broadcaster Software (or DXtory or XSplit or Bandicam...there are dozens of these). Then you might want to edit the clip and export it again (especially if you are using a rather uncompressed format like Fraps will give you) to save file size.

I'm currently trying to make youtube videos, but I cant seem to put any recordings into windows movie maker. The recording program Im using is OBS.

John Hoang wat? A VLC file? I think you mean the program VLC plays the file (and the icon looks like VLC's icon because that's your standard player).
You need to learn A LOT before you can make your first video. I can't tell you everything, but google is your friend and a simple "how to make a league of legends video" search will tell you everything you need (unless you lack basic knowledge, but nobody has the time to teach you for hours how to use a computer...).

Well Sony Vegas can't record just edit. You need OBS, Fraps, DXTory or something like that...

Nemanja Gega Well OBS is free but apparently it doesn't work for you? Most screen capturing software isn't free, but pretty cheap.
Fraps is 20 bucks and DXtory is roughly the same.
OBS works fine for me, are you on a Mac or Windows? I can walk you through what you need to set up OBS to record league

I can download the .bat file, but i cant run it. when i run it i get a bug splat.....
Maybe there are some issues with 4.21 - no clue.

In any case: Try replay.gg as well.
What happens if you start recording and then you close the op gg page? It will still recording?
You can close your browser, will work fine.

Huh? That is weird as hell. Are you on Mac maybe? Never had this, but sometimes you just gotta give it another try (or just try it with several games and observe the outcome).
I followed these steps, but yet there is no "Replay" button on the game.

My replay also does not work. I tried refreshing, renewing data multiple times. I have tried recording around 10 games and not 1 of them has worked. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?
