What size is the rubber hose that comes off your upper canister port? I need to come up with some kind of replacement for my 2003 TJ one. The part is discontinued and unavailable. Mine is up in the passenger rear wheel well, so if you could give me an idea of what to go get before I take the whole thing apart again I would much appreciate it! (I covered over the cracks in the hose with some liquid electrical tape, and that lasted about 2 years. Actually need to replace it this time.)
Question. The bottom hose that comes off that canister in the engine bag and goes back to the fuel tank. Do u know what it’s called. Mine ends behind rear drivers side tire. Looks like whatever small hose that attaches to where it ends which should then go to the fuel tank is missing. The guy who repaired my frame also dropped the tank to change skid plate. Maybe he forgot to re attach. I’d like to know what it’s called n if I can add a piece of hose n reconnect it without dropping the tank. Thx
Man why do I always come across the ppl & videos that can help me when they are so old.... *sigh* I hope you see this.... I am curios of a dif. method cuz I have no smoke on hand, but I have steam. A little portable steamer looks like a flower pot watering canister. Would that work If I can get enough steam into the system before it evaporates? Thoughts?
Wouldn’t recommend because then it would condense and fill the system with a bunch of water or would condense before you are able to see vapor come out.
@TheFlatRateMechanic Good Evening Brother! I love your video. I have a 2003 Dodge Caravan and i have no DRB 3 Scan tool or any scan tool to open and close EVAP parts or components that are part of the EVAP system so i can be able to perform a successful smoke test. I do have pinching pliers but no scan tool. I will greatly appreciate your help and feedback alot.

What would be the time to complete work if a hose and sensor needed to be replaced?
Can I use this for a p0505 as well?
Hey my check eng light comes on around 3/4 of a tank down to 1/4 tank of gas then goes off on its own. P0456 is the code. Any ideas?
The Evap system does not run a test on a full or mostly empty tank. Found this out along the way with mine doing that too.
