Echos are easy to fix. Get a few canvas paintings and put folded towels behind them. Works great. I did it in my garage. Music sounds better in there while I'm working
The bike I wanted so badly growing up. They came in black, red, and blue. Quite a few of my friends had them growing up. They were actually really light.
Love it. And yeah lighting and sound production. Who are these people? We are wrench turners, bearing packing bmx builders. If you love bmx. This channel is the best! He builds all the old school greats. I love this channel and will always be here to help support what this gentleman is doing.
Hey man thanks for doing the hard work and for putting on a good show. I'm just back into BMX.. and in the process of building two bikes so it's great to see what's out there and styles and parts.
I had this as a kid in the 80s. I kept it in perfect condition, everything original. I'd still have it but my folks gave it to my nephew when I was in the Army. He sold it or traded it for something.
My mom and dad got me one of these from the base exchange in Hanau Germany while my dad was stationed there. It was the best Christmas present I ever got. I still have it and it is in mint condition and in a few years it will go to my 9yo son. Love your channel
This was my first bike. It may have been 1984 when I got it. All I remember was the chrome and blue and the Blue Max name. Couldn’t tell you the brand before seeing this video. Best of luck. `
Man, those Pro Class bars are SWEET!!! And those rims! I picked up some Pro Class style rims for our Torker build coming soon. Thanks for sharing another RAD bike!
Love this one! A buddy of mine had a Blue Max when we were kids, somewhere around '82-83. Always loved his bike and the blue and chrome looked so good! I have an '84 with a good bit of OG parts that I'll get to one day. Unfortunately, the handlebar is tweeked, so I need to find another. Wish I could pick this one up from ya, but not in the cards right now. I'm sure it won't last long.
Nice bike it came out RADICAL as all your builds do, looking forward to more rad builds. If the perfectionist want better sound and lighting they can spend their dime and give up their time to make it happen is how I feel about that. I watch for the bikes and the memories they bring back to me not he sound or lighting.
Awesome ride. I still have my original blue max Bone stock. Purchased from Fort Ord military base in Seaside California. In Either 84 or 85. . I’ve Always wanted to restore it. How did you polish it up so clean?
Keep the original decals, honestly cooler than repops and shows how truly great an example it is. If it were me, I would’ve kept the cru mongoose, the Christian #1 mongoose and two blue max bikes… You KNOW why, I don’t even have to say it
My Blue Max frame has a metal plate with an iron cross on both sides. It’s beautifully welded at the front left and right on the frame. Yours doesn’t seem to have it. Also my Blue Max had mag rims not spokes. Are there two different types of Blue Max?
The echo and lightning reminds me of all the classic bike shops before big business took over. The vibes are RAD!
I think I can even smell the shop
People gripe and complain about everything. You sound fine and video looks great to me. Thanks for keeping BMX alive
I appreciate that

Killer bike!
🙏
I had a BluMax BMX when I lived in West Germany back in the early 80's. It had Oakley hand grips and Oakley Mag's.
Oakley Mags?
@RadBMXBuilds Yes, Oakley made Bmx parts including Spoked Mags before sunglasses
@@audiovideotech9777 never knew that. Also I have never seen a set
Awesome score! I had one with the head tube gusset, built mine with parts from a gt
Very nice!
