That breakaway formation was sensational. Like you, I'd be spending a bit of time there, and wishing I knew more about it. One question leads to another in those places. Thanks for sharing. Take care, cheers.
Hi Gavin. Really enjoyed those latest episodes. Looking forward to your next trip. Jeez, how do you guys cope with those flies though?. I don't think I'd last 5 minutes!!
Another ripper Gav. Think we will do the loop from Laverton out to the roadhouse, back to Neale's Junction and then down the Connie Sue to take this in if the borders aren't open. May be pushing it back now as our son has had his contract extended in Broome so a July visit next year is in order.
talking bout road conditions ...no big trucks to make corrugations!! n mining companies keeping an occasional eye on things n do the grading - plus shire do it for community. ..i could drive that wongutha country for weeks ...don't need a waterfall LOL. Ah - u found the breakaways!! ..near Mt Margaret...yes those ochres are spectacular - and still used. I'll find out about the water for u ;-)...my mate n i here r having a disagreement...i rkn u were near mt margaret......where there's an underground river. but my mate reckons u were closer to daisy station ...the ones the japanese mob bought!!
Cheers mate, thats good to know. These breakaways were about 60km south of AB track and I had the impression it was an underground river but I'm no expert :)
Loved the opening time lapse with the Milky Way 😎👍
