    The Steelers, Colts, and Patriots of the 2000s forged some great football teams.

      I know, there is a very long list of players on all three of those teams that contributed to each of those teams success. Even though Peyton Manning was released from the Colts and went to Denver, which still pains me from that decision but at least I was glad to see him end his career on a very high note, I noticed this common trend in the AFC. From Super Bowl 36 when the patriots won it, all the way to Super Bowl 53 with the Patriots as well. The AFC championship game was represented by either Brady, Manning, or Roethlisberger in every game except one time (2002).

      Marvin Lynch I am aware of that. I know that Joe Flacco and Rich Gannon were the only two other quarterbacks to make it to the Super Bowl other than Brady, Manning, or Roethlisberger in the AFC until Mahomes this past year. What I was referring to was every AFC championship between Super Bowl 36 and Super Bowl 53 had at least one of the previously mentioned quarterbacks in that game.

    Fun Fact: The longest losing streak in NFL history was the Buccaneers in the mid 70's. They had an 0-14 season, then started 0-12 the next season as well.
    Here in January of 2021 the Jaguars lost the final 15 games of the regular season. If they start the 2021 season 0-12 they break the record for most consecutive losses.

      Hector Rodriguez Jerry Rice is not the GOAT. He’s an all-time great WR who benefited from the #2 GOAT QB, GOAT Ofensive head coach who implemented the most revolutionary offensive system ever in a dynasty pre-Jerry.
      Montana was the SB MVP going 14-2 the year before Rice even started. Moss, Megatron, Julio, AB and TO to name a few are better more talented WRs. They just never had the system Montana did except for Moss in 2007. In that 1 whole year all Moss did was go 18-1 breaking Rice’s record for most TD catches in a year.

    • @luischauca1429
      @luischauca1429 4 года назад +1

      Jonathan Dee The One And Only Na, WRs aren’t nearly as important as QBs and LBs. they are heavily reliant on their QBs/system to which Jerry was handed the greatest of both over the stretch of about 15 years compared to any other great WR ever.
      Megatron, Moss, TO, Julio, AB, etc. would be GOAT WRs if they had GOAT QBs throwing to them for their entire prime/development. Moss has 1 year with a GOAT QB. He went 18-1 breaking Rice’s record for most TD catches in a year.

      Luis Chauca Montana without Rice: 0 all pros and 0 MVPs. Montana with Rice: 3 all pros and 2 MVPS. Young was a nobody before playing with Jerry and without Rice, Young had his worse statistical season in 97’ then when Rice came back Steve Young had his best statistical season. Jerry Rice is better at receiver than Montana and Young are at QB. And obviously Rice isn’t the most talented but he is the most consistent and dominant, that’s what makes him the GOAT. And way to bring up Moss’ one season and act like he didn’t play with Randall Cunningham in that record breaking offense in 98’. Plus Jerry Rice only had 12 games break the record and Moss had 16. Jerry Rice is the GOAT and it’s not even close

Going into that season, The Colts won their last 9 games the previous season before their wildcard lost to the chargers. Adding their 14 game winning streak to kick off the season, they still hold the NFL record for most regular season games won in a row at 23. I was very fortunate enough to watch him play twice during this stretch. I saw them play the 2008 Detroit Lions (Obviously everyone knows the outcome of that game LOL) and 2009 vs the Texans. Houston had to kick a field goal to send the game to overtime and they kicked it wide left.
