It is 4 layer device
But it can be fabricated with 3 layers, 4 layers or 5 layers

Yes bro same scr we have 2 fw bais and 1 rev bais....we need to breakdown the negative bais we using gate....so its will breakdoun then conduct all forward bais......in daic 2 fw bais 1 rev bais there is no gate how it will breakdoun....without gate
With voltage greater then forward breakover voltage.

In Diac, we don't have forward bias and reverse bias. It is bidirectional device.

In RB JUNCTION who breakdown that Barrier ..In SCR there is GATE and Diac Who break it?
DUE TO BREAKDOWN VOLTAGE OF REVERSE BIASED JUNCTION
Sir why diac is used then if it has no control
Do you see Diode have control signal? , but still we use it with some biasing, likewise there are many other devices like diac which can be used in some biasing conditions.
