Running MTC sync with ProTools chasing. Maintains sync really well - good enough for a 5 minute tune or so so tracks can be recorded to and fro between the platforms.
Patchbay installed to enable RCA to bantam AND resistor network on each tape input to knock +4 down to -10 to the tape. Playback uses the tape trims of SSL to sort -10 to +4.
Track one of machine does not record but will playback albeit dull - so the heads will be sent off later this year for relap. All meters have had LEDs replaced.
You have to really think about your project when using a tape machine - which educationally is invaluable for developing production skills.
