    Very strong review, providing specific pros/cons without getting bogged down. Great video angles & footage!
    Could the Abound accommodate a suspension seatpost?

    • @ALLElectricChannel
      @ALLElectricChannel  Год назад +2

      Thanks so much for you feedback & positive thoughts. Yes the abound can accommodate a suspension post, but it might not be needed. Because of the adjustable seat height it adds some comfort when riding over bumps. I would get the ebike first (link above 😉) and then see if you need a suspension post. Likely you will not

    Thanks for the review. What car hitch do you use? Have you tried to put 2 cargo bikes on a car hitch/rack? Appreciate your advice, thanks!

    How has your experience been with carrying adult passengers in the rear? I know the maximum load itself isn't an issue but I am wary of seat comfort given that the seat accessory looks to be relatively thin. Any aftermarket accessories that would work for an adult passenger?

    • @ALLElectricChannel
      @ALLElectricChannel  Год назад

      I think the passenger needs to be lighter than the driver. Also the extra weight in the back of an adult can easily shift the balance of the bike. It's doable but not ideal. Kids are easy.

    • @Tindog81476
      @Tindog81476 Год назад

      The back of the bike specifically says to not go over 150lbs. I just bought this bike and while you can put a person on the back of it, they need to be kind of a light person. I'm around 230lbs and I would not put another adult on the back, as for the frame moving, you honestly could load this thing up and it would be just fine, it's the motor that wouldn't run if you overloaded it, basically the bike just wouldn't move.

    Does the collapsible stem wobble during riding especially with kids and additional weight? I’m worried if it will shake or fold if I hit a bump while loaded.

    • @ALLElectricChannel
      @ALLElectricChannel  Год назад +2

      Feels very solid. I’m about 200lbs. And it felt great, very strong. If anything it feels like a suspension seat post. Hope this helps

    • @Tindog81476
      @Tindog81476 Год назад +1

      I own this... very solid bike, don't worry about anything breaking or folding. If you put to much weight on it, the motor just won't be able to turn the wheels that's all that would happen. Also the collapsible stem only is on the part with the handle, it's not part of the main frame. It has a very good lock, I don't think it's going anywhere. I've ridden it on some bumpy trails and I wouldn't recommend jumping off a curb with this thing, especially since it weights like 80 lbs, but it's a very premium feeling and high quality and is designed to carry a load. Realize this is a cargo bike, it's designed to carry a heavy load. Just don't load the back over 150lbs that's what it says on the back. I've never transported a kid with this, I don't own a child so I can't say but I think they would feel really big bumps but so would you, but smaller ones I think aren't too much of an issue.

      @@Tindog81476 how is the bike stability when you're riding on flat road without hands on the handlebars?

    • @Tindog81476
      @Tindog81476 6 месяцев назад

      @@ccederlo I don't think I would let go of the handlebars if I did the bike would probably veer off to the side, I always have to have at least one hand on the handlebars at all times. With that said I can play Pokemon Go in one hand and hold the handlebars with the other hand so if that gives you an idea, I hope that helps. But yeah this isn't a bike I would let go of the handlebars on, not that I really need to. I think the main reason why this is, is because the front tire isn't very big, also the handlebar is collapsible so due to the locking mechanism being on one side of the shaft it's not perfectly balanced which makes it want to turn if you don't hang on to it.

    • @ALLElectricChannel
      @ALLElectricChannel  Год назад

      Great question. Don’t think the battery has a USB port, but I’m sure you could rig something up

    • @Tindog81476
      @Tindog81476 Год назад +2

      There is a USB under the main display on the front of the bike. Not sure if it can charge though.

    • @Tindog81476
      @Tindog81476 11 месяцев назад

      Okay update, so the USB can charge stuff, however, it seems to be picky sometimes on what it will charge, for example, I can't charge my phone (Pixle 6 pro) but... the light I added to my bike that's USB C does charge with the USB. The USB also stops charging once the bike is turned off. It's not listed as a charging USB but it is mentioned that you can do it on their website. So yes you can charge, but no quick charge.

    • @StarEssences
      @StarEssences 6 месяцев назад

      @@christianbeaupre7989 Some cargo e-bikes are designed as dual battery capable. If this one is not; They have e-battery cases. Buy an extra one, place it in the battery holder and put it on the rear rack to carry. That way if you want to go further than what the battery may only have to offer you you'll have an extra one for further distance.
