Each month we’ll count down the 20 most watched videos on the official Eurovision Song Contest RUclips channel. The chart will include official music videos, national final/live/preview performances and, of course, Eurovision Song Contest performances (combining Grand Final, Semi-Final and Winners Performances; consistent with our chart counts from previous years), and taking a slightly longer look at the new entries and climbers.
Data is compiled using the official Eurovision Song Contest RUclips channel views from the calendar month just gone, and we’re taking January 2020 as the starting point for our charts.
Unless we’re avoiding national finals or important announcements (or we're in the middle of a Eurovision Song Contest), the Eurovision Top 20 Most Watched will (usually) premiere on the first Thursday of each month at 20:00 CET.

Really happy to see Moldova in the 1st place,even though their position wasn't high in 2010.
It seemed as if the song “UNO” was simply impossible to move from 1st place (not counting the top 20 for May and June)
And how amazing it is that she was pushed from first place not by some new hit, but by a legend from back in 2010

10 songs in the top 20 date from 2009-2010 while only 4 for the period 2022-2023 which proves that the level of the competition was a little higher at the time and above all it is degraded. Incredible to still see Loreen ( 2012), Alexander Ryback and Suntroke project still in this top. It's totally deserved. Don't forget for this year Marco Mengoni 104 million views for Due Vite on the official clip so I think even if it's not a "eurovision" clip it will be well into the top 20 listens!!!!!
ESC 2022 and 2023 were useless, we already knew who would win and they were certainly not the best songs, in fact they were just mediocre. The real competition was who came in 2nd, 3rd, etc
@@mimmoruggieri9323 yes you are right 🤣 for 2022 we knew who would win the competition five months before haha but the 2023 edition was even worse in terms of show nothing great apart from "Due Vite" which in my opinion should have won and maybe also Noa Kirel ..... in 2024 we expect to see Ukraine is still favorite with a song which should not be too bad, perhaps also Italy is off to a good start in the competition to see !!
@@thibault2290 I remember that in ESC 2023 the most viewed songs on RUclips before the final were Due Vite and Solo (clearly ahead). Then there was Unicorn and Queen of the Kings. Then, as predicted by the various "rumors" that were read on the various sites, in the final the Swedish song got many "12 points" from the juries but none from the televoting. Never happened: it's the first time that a song has won Eurovision without getting a "12 points" in one of the two charts.

We don't always appreciate a song when it first comes out. Our minds are not tuned in to its ryhthms. It's by constant exposure and repeat listening that we begin to appreciate a song like "Run Away"--and it's not just the Epic Sax Guy, who is great, but also the chemistry between its lead singers Olia Tira and Sergei Yalovitsky. I can understand how after more than ten years the song continues to be played. It didn't win Eurovision, but it has staying power.
