@@kaiokyle1198 A while back, I bought a Concept 2 rowing machine-that thing is tough! Years back a buddy of mine who is an aerobic animal, was dating a woman who was in to rowing. She got him on the Concept 2 and he entered one of their indoor regatta competitions. It was a 20 minute timed race to see how many theoretical meters you could row. He said it was the hardest thing he had ever done!
Id be a 2 pump chump, call it a night.

Im guessing you live far away from any sizable body of water. this isn't how its supposed to be used hes just showing he can do it.
Foiling has already caught on but most people either use a kite or a wing to power themselves. Even more fun with waves.
The feeling of flying above the water is unlike anything else.

Yeah these things are a workout with no waves. But there are videos of dudes riding for miles on little waves in the ocean with no effort and without pumping. Thats what i would be doing lol.

What are these big foil boards actually for? What is the difference to the small ones?
They are for down wind or sup surf or light wing. They are fast and able to to get on foil by paddling to ride wind swells
What if you had a flywheel?
Something like a weight on the end of a rope and you spun it around in a vertical manner?
Downward on the spin it would force it down up word it would lift it up
