  • In this Lego Stop Stop Motion tutorial, see the techniques I use to light my scenes. Give the impression of any time of day just by moving around your lights.
    Not sure what desk lamps to use? Here's one I bought, but any will do the job!

    Thanks for your video, can you give me some tips to make my stop motion look at night and look good?

      It depends on the scene; but I would say the same tips as in the video. Use one or two lights and keep them dim or farther away from the subject than usual. Maybe one dim light in the front and a light in the back to help the main subject stand out from the background. Experiment with your lights to see what you like best!

    what kind of lamps do you use?

    • @cheeseslopeproductions
      @cheeseslopeproductions  13 дней назад +1

      I like using generic brand lamps that have the 3 light color options (normal, cool, and warm). I linked and example in the description of one that I use. I usually buy the cheapest ones I can find haha

      Just some cheap LED desk lamps from Amazon. I don't think they even have a brand lol, just about any lamp will get the job done.

      @@cheeseslopeproductions one question, what happens of you have only 1 light lamp?

    • @cheeseslopeproductions
      @cheeseslopeproductions  3 месяца назад +2

      @@jansergio2888 I would recommend trying to find another light, but if that's not an option, maybe try reflecting lots of that light back onto the scene by surrounding your set with light colors (like white paper). I haven't only had to use 1 light but I'd use lots of light colors of paper to try to brighten up areas of the scene.
