41st Intramuros Grand Marian Procession. Grand Procession of Canonically Crowned Marian Images

We were finally able to witness Intramuros Grand Marian Procession last Sunday, December 4, 2022. This is the 41st Marian Procession organized by the Cofradia de Immaculada Conception and the Intramuros Administration, and the first after 3 years in the pandemic.
The Grand Marian Procession is an annual religious procession that takes place in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It takes place in Intramuros usually on the first Sunday of December.
This year is my first time to attend, and I was expecting to see over 100 images, but the organizers decided to focus on canonically crowned Marian Images, which included Jaro's Candelaria (their first time to attend), Caysasay, Antipolo, Penafrancia, La Naval and many more important Marian Images in the country.
The procession took place within the walls of Intramuros, and from where I positioned myself (on the right side of Manila Cathedral) lasted for four hours.

Yes, I believe most if not all are originals. Our Lady of Antipolo was carried by devotees, a tradition dating back during Spanish time.

I wasn't able to join the IGMP this year, but thanks for this vid! Surprisingly, Diocese of Antipolo and Malolos have this kind of 'Coronadas' procession as well (with their episcopal & pontifical crowned Marian images), and I've been at the Malolos Cathedral last Dec.5 to witness the event called Las Coronadas. Antipolo's Cinco Coronadas happened last Dec.3. I think there are more diocesan events like this in different parts of the country, but definitely the Intramuros Grand Marian Procession is the grandest of all ☺️
