My issue is so many entertainers want to play that pop country crap. I go to Broadway to hear real country music. These guys seem to be killing it with traditional music!

@@timothythornton6624 it is central to most music studios. It’s more geared to country downtown but all over Nashville there’s many pop, country, rock, indie, etc. bands and producers. It’s quite amazing. It’s like how Hollywood is more centered around movies and tv shows

You should come. This place is unlike any other in America, maybe the world. The passion and the spirit for music is so pure - every single bar has a band in it and they all have their own style. You can get lost in the spirit of it all. I've only been once but I plan to go back soon - and it doesn't matter where you're from, the only thing that matters is your love of music.

I mean, what ever happened to bands playing their own stuff with the risk of the crowd not liking it? But I do not need an answer. I know the answer. These bands are doing it so they can split the $500-$800 a night.

Where's the COUNTRY MUSIC that many people travel here from all over the world to hear and get heavily disappointed??
Most people have heard that Nashville is supposed to be "COUNTRY MUSIC CAPITOL OF THE WORLD".
I live in Nashville, I hear most everything except COUNTRY while walking along Broadway.
PEOPLE IN OTHER COUNTRIES, IF YOU WANT TO HEAR "COUNTRY MUSIC"... STAY HOME AND PUT ON A CD. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!
