umm is anyone gonna mention the INCLUSIVITY of the inspo pics she used ??? absolute queen behaviour here for it love you laini keep being amazing and speaking to everyone 💖💖
I think the tight vs loose clothes just depends on your style and the vibe you’re going for. I hate an all baggy fit cause I feel so bummy or too casual in it. But other people pull it off so well:)
Ngl personally it depends on how I feel that day. Some days I’m just not confident enough to wear tight clothes so I’ll wear baggy tees and hoodies. Other days I feel good about myself so I’ll wear tight clothes.
I stand by mixing new clothing pieces with vintage pieces!! Laini, I love these types of videos, short and sweet!! sending love from Australia 🧚🏼♂️ x.
i used to feel chained to crop tops + high-waisted pants bc i was 1. super insecure about my stomach and 2. thought it was supposed to be lengthening or whatever…. but i always felt uncomfortable and couldn’t place why!! now i realize it’s bc i have a larger chest and shorter torso, so wearing this combo would truncate my frame and draw attention to my chest… not to mention i was so tired of all the compression going on around my waist 😭 ever since i realized low waist + regular shirt i’ve felt much more comfy and it really looks nice !! it’s all about finding what works for you
i always opt for a bigger size just in case lmao which means almost all my pants are too big 😅 but id rather have pants that’ll fit me across a range of sizes than just when i’m one version of myself
I think baggy clothes can be suuuper flattering especially with like a Little cross shoulders bag! I don't know, I guess big clothes are like 'Slimming' or whatever but I also just love my baggy fits. That's why I like your videos so much :) I just constantly agree with your 'fashion choices' or like styling choices
Laini pleasee make a video someday on smart casual/ kind of formal wear for school presentations, i always struggle with that as i feel uncomfortable wearing a simple white blouse + office pants in a school setting(or anywhere really). Plus i somehow always end up looking like a middle aged english or math teacher😭 Nothing wrong with looking like a teacher but im 17 so yeah..
i loveee the B pendant on your necklace! Would you mind sharing where it’s from? Also just wanted to say you curated the “do” photos so well, all super cute outfits, I got a lot of inspo for this summer!
hi lainii!!! I never commented here before, but I'd just like to say, here in Brazil where I live I learned that Zara has codes their workers have to say out loud on those microphone announcements when black people enter their stores, and they discovered that happens in some other countries as well like the US, where the security guards are more "alert" because these black people can "rob the store" and there's this assumption at Zara, so just so you know, Zara rly sucks and people here in Brazil have been boycotting them for some months now ever since they heard of that. love your content as always, and yes, baggy all the way! you inspired me to wear my wide leg jeans with my super wide and baggy t shirt with chunky shoes and be over the top with my tiny bag LOL
So am i the only one who’s more uncomfortable in baggy clothes? Like there’s just too much fabric, it gets in the way when i try to move.maybe it’s just my body type or maybe I’m not used to it but I don’t like it
Yeah there are occasions when I pull it off. Like the shirt is baggy but it's kinda heavy so it hang on my shoulder nicely. But it is rare to find a good baggy shirt or pants. Most of mine I use at home cuz if I do use them outside as an outfit I feel shabby and throughout the day I'd see someone wearing tight clothes and Ill be like i shouldve worn tight clothes too lmaoo thats just me tho. I sound so superficial and shallow aaaa well thats what i feel abt it
Tbh the reasons why I liked her style was that her clothes were not about showing assets (not that anything is wrong abut it ) but for those who's parents are strict lol and thise who just dont feel comfortable and confident like that. Your clothes are so inclusive absolutely love your style. 💯 ❤️
edit2: i decided to be a delinquent for once and i changed the shirt size to medium (my size). i think the owner noticed but didn’t say anything because it’s same shirt just different size and maybe thought i was smart lol edit: styled it with my favorite jeans and i love the shirt again lol i feel bad rn because i got a shirt that has my favorite album on it but the colors of the print are lower quality (dw it still looks like the album cover just colors aren’t vibrant), the shirt is one size bigger than what i usually wear and i literally dont wear colors that are on the album cover (blue and yellow) and i feel like shit :( i was so happy when i got it but now a few hours later i dislike it maybe i’ll start liking it when i make an outfit with it? hopefully
i think for the midriff trend it’s cute for people who enjoy it, but also makes me 🤔 bc fashion houses and brands style clothing around a skinny midriff like it’s an accessory in order to “complete” the look. obv nothing new but it seems more exacerbated with current trendy looks and how revealing the midriff has gotten
Hi Laini! I love all ur vids and style and I have a very specific request. I wanted to know if u could possibly make a video about summer shirts that are long enough to go w those low waisted pants. I feel like the only “long shirt” I can find to wear w low waisted pants r lingerie tanks
Tip number one is making all 5’11” of my body happy about my one pair of pants that’s is long enough/slightly too long. For a tall woman on a budget, I’ve gotten used to the fact that 95% of clothes that fit my hips or wait will be too short (no need to get started on pants that fit those, too 🤦♀️)
i usually go a size up from my usual size when I wear low rise bottoms and I find it much more comfy and flattering! might work for others who want to wear low rise but find it uncomfortable 👀
I love a baggy on baggy moment. I just realized this rule of "if you want to wear baggy pants wear them with a tight top or loose tops only go with skinny or super short bottoms" is some male gaze bs. I don't owe you shit. Thank you so much for speak about this.
umm is anyone gonna mention the INCLUSIVITY of the inspo pics she used ??? absolute queen behaviour here for it love you laini keep being amazing and speaking to everyone 💖💖
rare bare minimum
bare minimum wow thank you so much
there was one like 5 poc and a couple mid sized and plus sized models plz chill
no hate, but you’re praising people for the bare minimum🥵
if we're gonna normalise inclusivity i feel like praising people for it is unnecessary. just treat it as a normal thing
I think the tight vs loose clothes just depends on your style and the vibe you’re going for. I hate an all baggy fit cause I feel so bummy or too casual in it. But other people pull it off so well:)
Hard agree. I feel so uncomfortable when my clothes aren't tight, I feel like I'm taking up too much room and can't move.
Ngl personally it depends on how I feel that day. Some days I’m just not confident enough to wear tight clothes so I’ll wear baggy tees and hoodies. Other days I feel good about myself so I’ll wear tight clothes.
i always have difficulty styling my clothes since my closet is kinda boring lol but ur tips are so helpful! 🤍

Love your energy and your approach to fashion, Laini!!!

She is such an inspiration for me!
your necklace charms are too cute!
I always get happy when you post, sending love from Romania❤️
Your energy is so soft, this whole video relaxed me and inspired me at the same time
i always opt for a bigger size just in case lmao which means almost all my pants are too big 😅 but id rather have pants that’ll fit me across a range of sizes than just when i’m one version of myself
I think flare jeans look the best with heels of any kind. Baggy jeans just look sloppy to me....IMO
omg the last one ANNOYS ME sm !!! ty for this 🫶🏼
You have such a gorgeous glow omg
loved the last tip abt feeling like a catalogue!
hi laini, just wanna say you give me so much inspo and confidence to dress how i want to dress and to mix & match what i have instead of buying more 🖤
maxi skirts becoming popular is so good for me lol cus that’s been my brand 😁 love when that happens
Just became a subscriber because i just love how you explain fashion and how to style clothes on certain body types
You make me so happy and your videos help me really to find my style
Good advice! I liked the reference photos.

laini im an 80s baby, and i have to say long jeans and heals are so ninties... i cantttt
I’m really putting my fashion into perspective rn and feel uncomfortable a lot of the time… :’)
Vid idea: take an online quiz to find your seasonal color palette then style some outfits with those colors! 🎨
Very cute job, Laini!❤️❤️

where is your long initial necklace from ?
Stone and strand!
where is this necklace from??
I so agree with you.. on fashion right now. Love you and everything u do. Keep up great work.
This is perfect because somehow I hate all my jeans 😂
Could you please a business casual inspo!
More videos like this plssss
edit2: i decided to be a delinquent for once and i changed the shirt size to medium (my size). i think the owner noticed but didn’t say anything because it’s same shirt just different size and maybe thought i was smart lol
edit: styled it with my favorite jeans and i love the shirt again lol
i feel bad rn because i got a shirt that has my favorite album on it but the colors of the print are lower quality (dw it still looks like the album cover just colors aren’t vibrant), the shirt is one size bigger than what i usually wear and i literally dont wear colors that are on the album cover (blue and yellow) and i feel like shit :( i was so happy when i got it but now a few hours later i dislike it maybe i’ll start liking it when i make an outfit with it? hopefully
i need to know which album that is because i am thinking of solar power by lorde and i wanna know if im right haha im sorry if this is kinda random
@@aina6016 oh it’s the total opposite from a pop album (meaning in genre), it’s rust in peace by megadeth (metal, subgenre thrash metal)
@@sectoid-with-internet-access ah okay thank you so much for answering :)
Do you know what nail color you have on??? Did you do them yourself??? Love!!!
omg i'm 'early' for the first time in my life 😭💀
I just woke up and saw u posted so now im a happy half awake potato
where are your necklaces from
05:28 is a great PSA
WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE NEW ERNIE PIC IN THE BACKGROUND!!!! Ernie's world forever 🐕
Personally I feel so uncomfortable in baggy clothes, because it makes me feel like I'm underdressed

Okay I definitely need a dedicated video on how to wear baggy clothes without looking like Ed from Ed, Ed and Eddy. 😅
i wear jeans that are one size bigger bc periods and bloating :]
Do you watch niki from niki & gabi?? I love her style I feel like she also just wears whatever she likes without considering if it "flatters you"
I can't believe I'm actually tempted to buy a pair of low-waisted pants...
I did 😂 & I was immediately like “omg I feel like I owned these exact jeans in high school”
Hi Laini! I love all ur vids and style and I have a very specific request. I wanted to know if u could possibly make a video about summer shirts that are long enough to go w those low waisted pants. I feel like the only “long shirt” I can find to wear w low waisted pants r lingerie tanks
Which are really rare to thrift and very expensive to buy ethically
Mine are all from the thrift!!! They’re definitely easier to find there for me than mainstream stores!!!
Tip number one is making all 5’11” of my body happy about my one pair of pants that’s is long enough/slightly too long. For a tall woman on a budget, I’ve gotten used to the fact that 95% of clothes that fit my hips or wait will be too short (no need to get started on pants that fit those, too 🤦♀️)
You and Paige wassel should make a video together!!
Everything I wear is at least one size up 😂😂😂
i usually go a size up from my usual size when I wear low rise bottoms and I find it much more comfy and flattering! might work for others who want to wear low rise but find it uncomfortable 👀
Does anyone know of any creators like her but for men?
Drew Joiner!

so true on the male gaze bs!
Zara?? Seriously?? Why are you promoting fast fashion
???
