I am so excited to share this EPIC adventure I did in February 2024!
I am very happy and proud about myself, as it was my first ever solo winter camping!!!!
More to come because the more we travel, the more we learn!!!!
I will be more experienced in the future & well prepared!

I wish I had more time to do your type of motorcycle riding.
The Klim Badlands Pro and Kodiak are both triple GoreTex suites that are breathable and 100% prove. Only when it is pouring down (in the situation that you even don’t go out walking or driving a car) these Klim suites won’t be waterproof either. I drive a lot through heavy rain and with my 3-layered Klim suites I never had 1 rain drop coming through! Big advantage is that when it starts raining you just close all the zips properly and you are good to go.

Great vid. Take some spare guylines with you when camping as you can always use a tree or rocks to hold down the tent on hard ground.

Hi! Very nice video. Nice and beautiful scenery around your camping site. Sound quality has improved a lot with the new equipment. Hope the Helly Hansen Merino underwear was good for you? You are actually supposed to sleep without any clothes on inside the sleeping bag, but good socks never hurts.
It’s a big tent, but also very practical when you have space for the motorbike inside. And you can stand inside the tent. I really enjoyed the video so thanks for sharing. Drive safely and always take care - your smile brightens the day anytime! ❤

Great video+++ (I think in a small tent it is a big question whether it is better to park bike the other way, just in case it tips over side stand, it falls away from you, or are you safer in a strong wind gust where stand protects it from falling on you, I kinda leave it 2m away just in case ).
So lucky having all of Greece to camp in only a few hours away! Perfect for biking! (Except for some of the weather!). If it's goretex you'll probably stay drier with that than 100% waterproof because with the non-breathable it will trap sweat on the inside. Goretex isn't 100% waterproof but it will still take 2m or so of water on top of it before it leaks (although stitching etc. on individual garments might be different).
laminated GoreTex 👍 riding a bike you will never have a volume of litres of water on the membrane, so let's just say it is waterproof, funny thing is she camps in a tent with a hydrostatic head of about 10,000 so if that is waterproof then so is a double or triple laminated Goretex suit, Spidi don't know what they are talking about or didn't want to give Dominika their most expensive gear. And I just checked Spidi's site, they have their own waterproof membrane call H2Out, a cheap knock off, they don't even have GoreTex in their gear to keep costs down, so their brand is cheap compared to other brands that use laminated GoreTex
Hm, actually you’re wrong. It’s a real inside that companies won’t tell you. Gortex is “waterproof” but not 💯 because the zip/stiching etc. I had the best Gortex Dainese adv gear & when I was riding in heavy rain in the motorway, everything was eventually wet. So the only way to stay dry, with any brand, is the waterproof layer you wear on top. If you have experience differently, let me know ☺️
@@DominikaRides incorrect again, laminated goretex is not the same, and stitching means nothing on those garments. Try again
@DominikaRides I honestly believe your dainese suit was faulty, it goes by volume of water, such as 3 metres of pressure again the membrane before water can make it through, laminated suits are different again, as the membrane is put differently on the suit, with riding and the wind/pressure, you have that bead effect, this then blows the water off the jacket, that is what Nikwax is for when it comes to washing the membrane to allow it to breathe again, then you reproof it, using the Techwash 1st then the TX-DIRECT 2nd. As I said I've used Goretex for more than 2 decades, and I can say it is waterproof, I'm riding all year round in British weather, so we get rain a lot, and I'm always dry. Again I honestly believe your dainese suit was faulty and Goretex has lifetime guarantee 💯 🙌 👌

My sleeping bag was up to 5 degrees Celsius but in the night it was around 0 degrees so definitely cold 😂🫠

is that what Spidi told you lol they are wrong, just ask any adventure rider wearing laminated goretex clothing, or courier or blood biker, might as well wear a bin bag over your clothes if you go by what Spidi have told you.
The gortex are waterproof but not 💯 when it comes to high speed and tons of rain! Otherwise it won’t be breathable! If you want something that’s 💯 waterproof, it’s the bin bag you wear on top of your gear. ( ps. My Dainese gortex adv gear wasn’t waterproof when I was using in heavy rain in 🇬🇧)
@@DominikaRides there is the bead effect, the mesh is so fine that it allows sweat to evaporate, but stop large water droplets such as rain from coming through, I have used Goretex for more than 20 years in mountaineering and on the motorcycle, I can vouch I have been in some seriously bad weather and have stayed dry, been on the road for weeks and stayed dry in my Goretex suit, remember that Spidi do not sell any of their suits with Goretex, they have their own membrane which is called H2Out, I dare Spidi to go on their website and say Goretex is a hoax and not waterproof lol they would be sued straight away.
@@DominikaRides I think you had a dodgy suit, Goretex has lifetime guarantee, and i would have questioned this straight away if your Dainese suit failed
