What is the technique for quick hayashida ss cancels and the ss1 with your thumb. I can do it very consistently and quick but i need both hands on the dpad, one right index spamming up.
Still works in matches because I immediately receive caution when i spam the ⬇️↙️⬅️⬆️⬇️. It actually looks scary when i use 2 hands cause i can add wave dash without losing rhythm lol. Means nothing to a masher though.
Obviously i cant reliably respond if they wiff this way unless its during my wavedash so i need tips on the actual motion pleasee
the fact that you play on Xbox controller gave me hope, I thought you only can do this type of things only on fight pad. but my finger hurts so much with Xbox d-pad lol
Fellow Xbox Nina Player here. It took 2 weeks to get used to it, it's all about comfort. Also I'm trying to learn not to tense my muscles for safety and it just gives out bad inputs tbh
@@DrCurvy yeah, I drop combos quite often while she does not what supposed to, and it's not even difficult combos, but diagonal moves seem to work bad with Xbox controller :(
Imagine how people who use playstation feel, I dont even think I can play tekken with those trash pads
How do you do the cancel? Is it just ss1, hold forward and crouch cancel?
How do u feel abt nina for intermediates. Ik she has a lot of execution stuff but how necessary is it to win around fujin. I feel around that rank ppl get rlly good w their char n utilizing their gameplan. So if i cant do ninas advanced stuff will i survive?
I don't think it's necessary to do all the harder till you reach the top level of play where you need to max out your character. You can get to Tekken god without iws1s, hayashida, or ss1 cancel imo.

Basically if i orecisely quote what you say i hear : "sidestep one up back up back, sidestep one up back back up back" 😅
For now I can chain two ss1 by doing :
Ss+1, back, up, ss1 but not that quick, and i can't chain lire than two 😅

SS1 + back gives a back sway. SS1 + back and then as soon as the back sway starts, right at the start of it, pressing up will cancel the back sway into another side step. You can only cancel back sway into sidestep left. Then you repeat this really fast.

Do what I do and learn her easier stuff. I'd look up the written nina tekken 8 guide, it has everything laid out well. f4,2 / uf4,3,4 / 444 / grabs / and a launcher got me to red ranks. Edit: d2 and db3 are the good lows. Good luck!
I thought sidestep 1 cancels were more plus or was that just in previous tekkens?
Not really always been around plus 4/5 range. Just got get accustomed to specific Nina options afterwards otherwise they’ll go overboard with slower moves lol

king armor they can cancel at anypoint but sometimes b2,2 just slap em outta armor happens alot when i play hworangs
if the ss1 into ss1 into ss1's are executed fast enough, can they jab you inbetween? or do they get slapped?
Yea if they do anything 17f faster instantly however any moment of hesitation will get them hit and back into mix
