This is the best roster of any fighting game ever. The characters are so distinct both in aesthetics and gameplay. Killer Instinct really is a step ahead of other fighting games. Shame it isn't more popular.
2-5 characters would fit as guest-fighters for Mortal Kombat. Jago, Fulgore, Orchid, Sadira and/or Hisako would fit so well - would be cool to see at least one of them in a MK-game!
Imagine if some well known and wealthy company bought this franchise and made new KI games(like Insomniac for instance)! That would be a dream come true!
I wish they would've added Joanna Dark, Master Chief, Marcus Fenix and a bad ass mean looking Banjo. He would've been a nice animal compliment to Sabrewulf.

I wish we could get the original lighting and black shadows on the metered moves. I agree though, the new artwork should be optional and not mandatory.
Although familiar with the game, any *KI* Stans who knows if which *Thunder* or *Eagle* are better options? Rather than "racebait", this is a legit *Fighting game* skill question. Just so happens both share characteristics of *Nightwolf* and with that in regards to accurate depiction I was just curious on whom is easier to handle gameplay wise. Which is funner to play with, more versatile or simply better throughout attribution?
Designs are bland and what makes it even worse is how simmilar some characters look to each other. On top of generic designs of characters there is a very high contrast that make half of the screen black, which make caracters look like unrecognisable shimmering mess. Gameplay is incredible and unique. Combo breaker sound effect is very annoying.

One of my favoite fighting games of all time, the roster is so creative and unique. The charecters are just so cool

Cool designs! I've never played 'Killer Instinct'. There's (good) similarities to MK's roster, but it also reminds me a bit of characters from UT2004.
