I don't think it would matter even if it was a commercial unit under warranty. All it's doing is following a "blueprint" that makes it play music, there's nothing that could void a warranty unless there's a manufacturer out there that's dickish enough to claim that using the machine per manufacturer instructions voids the warranty.

There are 3 motors, one for each axis; they each play different notes.
Now make it so when it plays it cuts something out.With that you can say this is what tetris looks like while holding the cut material.

CNC routers are cheap.Start at about 500$ for a kit ,or cheaper ,if you know how to DIY
