This is a really good printer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.
This makes me happy in a silly, sentimental sort of way. These old computers, which are now considered by most to be obsolete or trash, get to play lovely music together instead of rusting away in a scrap heap for eternity. You go, little guys. You go.
to be fair, although I've recently acquired a digital one I still use my old HM412 or Tek 466 for most of the tasks. These things are just somewhat fun and easy to work with. I wouldn't want to miss them. You can still get the grey one or similar ones on ebay or fleamarkets sometimes.
I was in highschool when i watch this video for the first time, watching now its very nostalgic feeling, it brings me memories of easier times, good laughs and youthful innocence. Now i'm an adult, life it's not always easy and i have lost some loved ones, often missing those days.Time flies guys.
That is amazing, the old technology seems to have such a melancholy feel! as if its sad that its outdated and about to be thrown away! so its singing (in unison) one last time to persuade its owner to keep it
HOLY CRAP I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS REAL! So much awsomeness and old hardware in one spot. This is going in my favorites for sure! I will come back and relisten to this occasionally. I love seeing old hardware and looking at it, but playing music with it? This is almost magical.
When I think of stuff to include in the time capsule sent to outer space to acquaint ET with what makes our civilization precious, this video comes to mind.
This is great! I was wondering if you've considered (or have done) a video or blog post about your "method" or "toolchain" for your machine covers of different songs? i would be awesome to learn how you go about transcribing the tracks or how you even tune a scanner haha
See a lot of the times, when I hear electronic equipment start making weird noises like this...I freak out and throw that shit away... You turn it into MUSIC?! HOW???!!!
Oh man this is great!! And just in this last year ive been throwing out 25 plus years of hardware i had piled up building and fixing stuff over all those years.. I had bunches of all this stuff,,, and never thought of doing this with it... How come as soon as you get rid of something you then find you need it... this and smoke on the water,,, just wonderful!!!
This was beautiful and calming to watch...as much as I love Bohemian Rhapsody, after Freddie, this has to be my 2nd favorite rendition ever and I've heard lots of humans try! I saw these old electronics perform with soul, made me teary-eyed thinking of all the old gadgets I've thrown away over 20 years-if there was ever a heaven for all the old tech, I'm sure it would be something like this :) Excellent !
Dang, I have an old DuMont Oscillograph that is almost identical to yours. It drifts like crazy once it gets warmed up! Excellent work on the video and music!
Yeah because a 5th grade orchestra without a conductor can even play something that even resembles sounding like Bohemian Rhapsody. Get out of here, you know nothing. You're suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect.
+Marius Kochsiek oh I'm sorry I was under the impression jokes were supposed to be humorous, not just insultive. This is from someone who knows clown theory.
As someone who also knows a bit about music theory, you really don't need to know jack about music theory to hear that the timing is off. It's very cool still
That hypnotized me start to finish. As a Queen fan and someone who was blown away by the arrival of home computers ... this is such a treat! All hail the king of the nerds!!!
Anybody who dislikes this video does not understand what is captured by this video. Within this jumble of lights and noises, the maker is trying to communicate with us. Communicate the simplicity of music. Music is everywhere, and it doesn't take a huge understanding of how it works to appreciate it's message. Understanding sure helps, though. But what does it mean? What does it mean to understand? "What" you say? no.. The question is: What say you?
This video is as good as it has ever been, but for all the things that make it cool, two specific things are the reason it's pulled 2.5M+ hits: the 'gong'. And the scanner parking itself, in the final shot. Perfect.
Amazing to watch. These devices are juts doing what they are told. They have no idea they are making music. But its like they have come alive and enjoying themselves. But they arent. They are just doing their job.

Rachel S. It's cute in a way.
Rachel S. that's the most heart warming thing I have ever heard
***** Probably hella late. Haha!
I crying. Respectly!!
Recycle them at a recycling center.
I like to think this is what HAL heard as Dave slowly dismantled him.
Hardware Abstraction Layer
microsoftwindows 2001: A Space Odyssey. Not hal.exe.
Distracted Globe Productions HAL who? Oh yes. Mr. 9000.
Haha. That's pretty accurate. It sounds like the machines are slowly dying the whole time.
These different components remind me of all the little faulty outcast robots in Wall-e...
This sends shivers down T-800's spine.
To this day; this is still one of the greatest things i've ever seen; and am thankful it exists.
Someday they'll make music using computers, you just watch.
Welcome to The Future!
they call 'kraftwerk'!
Yep.. Look up Compressorhead
Its amazing how many people's heads this joke went over.
+Brad “The Rad” Parker rip
i think i might have fallen in love with the grey oscilloscope.
to be fair, although I've recently acquired a digital one I still use my old HM412 or Tek 466 for most of the tasks. These things are just somewhat fun and easy to work with. I wouldn't want to miss them. You can still get the grey one or similar ones on ebay or fleamarkets sometimes.
Stephen Hawking - Bohemian Rhapsody (Cover)
ignacio silva aguirre underrated comment
It would be amazing in his vocals were on this
Pizza pizza. Pizza pizza. Pizza pizza. Sorry. That button sticks.
Ten years later, I still come back to this piece. Love it!
"I'm in an orchestra."
"Oh great, what instrument do you play?"
"I play the scanner..." XD
I have no idea what's happening or why, but it's ridiculously cool.
i want this played at my funeral

thank you for the kind words.
That is amazing, the old technology seems to have such a melancholy feel!
as if its sad that its outdated and about to be thrown away! so its singing (in unison) one last time to persuade its owner to keep it
Come quando sei vecchio abbastanza per commuoverti con queste sonorità...
The timings are a bit off but it's still very cool!
I cried a little.
HOLY CRAP I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS REAL! So much awsomeness and old hardware in one spot. This is going in my favorites for sure! I will come back and relisten to this occasionally. I love seeing old hardware and looking at it, but playing music with it? This is almost magical.
its beautiful, old worn out and obsolete tech finds a new lease of life as a musical intrument
still watching these videos!!
THEY SPEAK TO ME!
I am a huge Queen fan and a total Luddite... you just made my week. Thank you!
When I think of stuff to include in the time capsule sent to outer space to acquaint ET with what makes our civilization precious, this video comes to mind.
Still better than Kanye's version...
a labratory of sound and music
Fantastic love old tech I am grate full that I was born in the Floppy disk era (1995)
95 was CD era really
You apparently have such a great ear for music, because this is so beautiful! It sound like lullaby to me ^^
I want people like this guy fixing my computer. Lol.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😁
The timing on the vocal tracks feels significantly wrong. Am I just too picky?
I actually agree...
Well, keep in mind how limited this technology is. Getting as close as this must've taken days of preparation.
Rakanadyo Oh, I don't mean to say that he has no merit for what he did. I tried something waaaay easier than this, and it was already hard as hell.
Sounds like the notes being quantised into durations that don't fit
Keiya Bachhuber It does.
This is great! I was wondering if you've considered (or have done) a video or blog post about your "method" or "toolchain" for your machine covers of different songs?
i would be awesome to learn how you go about transcribing the tracks or how you even tune a scanner haha
Coming back to videos saved on an old playlist. Still impressed with this
oh my god. you have made a glorious moment in estonia, 2018, september 17 :D welcome to be a part of our lives. so cool
The struggle is real. Those old parts are trying so hard.
This sounds like a Gameboy version of Bohemian Rhapsody!
And that is not a bad thing. :) And I hate when people destroy the song. But this is like WOW!
Technologic. Technologic.
See a lot of the times, when I hear electronic equipment start making weird noises like this...I freak out and throw that shit away... You turn it into MUSIC?! HOW???!!!
this makes me happy hearing it. damaged, outdated, or forgotten devices put together to make wonderful music
Is this the real life?
Is this just a fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
Escaped from reality.

I was thinking the same thing. All the stuff I threw out that still "worked". What could I have done with it...
Reminds me of a bunch of old, broken computer parts banding together to form a sort of "group", each having their own personalities.
Microsoft has a blue screen of death put aside for me
:)
Bismillah does not compute
I can picture Freddie is blushing up and hevan
*heaven
+GriserGaming He'll probably ask "Is this the real life? Is this just a fantasy? Caught in a landslide, Escaped from reality."
I really enjoy coming back and watching this video every now and then.
Did you program that in BASIC?
BlackEpyon More likely FORTRAN.
Hahahaha Fortran my God...!!! Traslate to my old school...
All I can think of is the Portal themes.
So this is how they made the music for the Final Fantasy games.
Kudos to you for all your work, but i'm more scared than surprised. I'm feared of old noisy computer, how mature.
I LOVE this. I come back and listen to it all the time. Your work is amazing, thank you!
Is this real life?!
or is this just fantasy?
Sarah Brunson Caught in a landslide...
CapAll55 No escape from reality.

Old technology opera anyone?

Dang, I have an old DuMont Oscillograph that is almost identical to yours. It drifts like crazy once it gets warmed up!
Excellent work on the video and music!
this is the best thing ever made in the history of the whole humanity.. thank you for existing
Better than Skrillex.
the scanner is just slightly too fast
this makes electric orchestra look dumb LMAO
somebody give that oscilloscope a fkin an album contract
Sick dude!
I'm only sorry it's taken me this long to hear this...
Great idea but it is hard to listen to as someone who knows a bit about music theory because it sounds like a 5th grade Orchestra without a conductor
LOL
Yeah because a 5th grade orchestra without a conductor can even play something that even resembles sounding like Bohemian Rhapsody. Get out of here, you know nothing. You're suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect.
+Gaeuvyen The 5th grade comparism was a joke.
+Marius Kochsiek oh I'm sorry I was under the impression jokes were supposed to be humorous, not just insultive. This is from someone who knows clown theory.

liked not only for the good job you did but also for the cool old O-scope.
Good job!
¡Qué maravilla!. He llorado viéndolo y escuchándolo. Muchísimas gracias por el regalo. Thank you so much for the gift
This is by far the most valid justification for nerd-dom I know !
Very good work - creativity at its best !
THX for uploading,
palomino
That hypnotized me start to finish.
As a Queen fan and someone who was blown away by the arrival of home computers ... this is such a treat!
All hail the king of the nerds!!!
I think this song is amazing, and this just amplifies the beauty of it.... bravo good sir!
You have Way too much time! But thank you for spending so much of it to make me smile, absolutely fantastic.
Words can't explain how much I live your work. I hope you'll find the time to make more.
The ending was classic. A nicely arranged cover overall despite technical limitations, and what a sight to behold.
the only thing i can say is, you are ingenious to come up with this. rally a big hit for the talent.
Although I'm intrigued, I'm not gonna ask you HOW IN THE HELL YOU DID THAT. this is just brilliant. especially the ending note :)
This is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen! Great work!
The fact that it's horrendously out of time just makes it even better. It's like technology has no grasp of how a good song should flow.
this old school computer remix is giving me so good old school technology vibes. so nostalgic.
hey man !!!!! awesome work !!!! Such a talent and skill ! thx for posting :)
This is insane, lol, I love it..... You should do some drone music with this as well.
You are awesome.. Keep it up.. Your choice of music and instrument appeal to the life long Nerd.... Love Your work.....
Thank you for this amazing work. A tear welled up in my eye while listening to it.

You, sir, are amazing! (I lust for that old Eico oscilloscope- had one when I was a kid!)
thanks for sharing this!your creativity, passion and dedication is admirable. :)
Dude... I don't know who you are but you just made my day!
Electronic @ Its best :D
I still love watching this even after all this time!
Possibly one of the best things I've ever seen. Awesome :) and great job.
This is art. And this is FUCKIN' melancholic. Tears in my eyes.
Really nice man ! Thanks for sharing, it's unbelievable !
I dream of electric analog sheep! Beautiful man! Thank you!
This is great. Really love the sounds of that Eico Oscilloscope.
Super! Witzig und gleichzeitig schön!
HP makes a lovely vocalist.
That was absolutely incredible! Good work, sir!
This is so touching ! I feel like I discovered the secret labo of a crazy scientist who left a "surprise" after he passed away.
This bring back so many memories from old RUclips
one of the best pieces of art work I've seen. Should be in MoMa.
You have lots of freetime in those Canadian Winters, lol
This is Really Awesome.
unreally beautiful. lovely. eerie. warming.
Very intelligent and creative approach! Liked it very much.
This is actually strangely relaxing.
Amazing work.
