Admissions will NEVER change. Never ever. They don’t wanna hand out Michigan degrees to someone for a single year. Time to get over and look to a different approach.
What we do have to remember is that U of M is ranked in the top 4 public universities, UNC-Chapel Hill, UCLA, and UC-Berkely are the others. An undergrad degree from U of M translates into employment nationally. When you factor in the graduate programs, we butt heads with UC-Berkely. When we listen to the pressers, the Wolverine student-athletes sound like that...student-athletes. Listen to some of the football factory schools' players during pressers. Unfortunately, too often they sound like athletes. I bleed Blue but my preference is that they not lower the bar and accept just anybody into the university. Historically, we do well athletically and our brand is second to none nationally. Go Blue!
I agree with you we just got to develop the high school kids coming in better Michigan should be doing better at recruiting to getting better players out of high school and not having to go to the portal for skill players
You have a point, but I don’t think it’s this black and white. I’d take a guy with a weaker vocabulary discussing a win over an eloquent speaker explaining a loss. 🤷♂️
@ cuz your a fan. What you want in your fandom world doesn’t dictate the criteria of a world class institution of higher learning. These are college student-athletes. If we want fandom and money to rule supreme (already heading there) then give the kids a choice….get paid with NIL and forfeit scholarship/college enrollment so their a contracted player or take the scholarship, enroll as a student and forgo NIL.
Disagree. Just because someone talks differently and doesn’t talk like a smart guy doesn’t mean they aren’t smart look at marshawn lynch. Allow student athletes to be able to have laxed enrollment or struggle to win. It’s not gonna change drastically.
That Oklahoma road tilt will tell us a lot about our new offwnsive coordinator and our new defensive line up. The transfer QB in Norman is the real deal....
I feel like Michigan don't do good with developing wide receivers i personality haven't seen a beast receiver at Michigan since Dpj and he could have been way better for Michigan if he was developed better
Notre Dame does this, too. Academics trumps football for Michigan & its peers. That’s why the best football programs and the entire SEC conference are sports schools that happen to have academics. It’s never going to change, until football finally becomes a separate business unit from the universities, which it should.
Tj you got to stop stressing repeat after me we are Michigan no 1 player or coach makes or breaks us, a Michigan degree means something, we’re not changing admissions stop stressing we will be fine
Until we get elite receivers to go with a 10 mil QB, we will still be a mediocre offense!! Not middle grade but elite recievers!!! If we don't Underwood will be gone and we all know this
Underwood should have made that a condition of his commitment. I don't understand why they wouldn't just OVERPAY a #1WR to come here bc they avoid this place like the plague.
@@brismit2 we NEED good receivers. Why tf would we sit on our hands? Also, you can contact a player's agent which doesn't qualify as tampering. Make an offer and they can enter to portal with do not contact order and transfer.

Finally sanity and not meathead advocacy.

Missed the live but I’ll still watch while enjoying this basketball W
We need o-line help and receivers
I think we’ll do just fine this year with the receivers we now have

1:08:23 So what your really saying is, Michigan didn't develop their receivers.
I feel like Michigan don't do good with developing wide receivers i personality haven't seen a beast receiver at Michigan since Dpj and he could have been way better for Michigan if he was developed better
Our portal class is top 3-4 isn’t it . Not losing sleep over a UCONN or app state WRs.
That's why we have to develop the high-school kids we get better
Ucla can't handle michigan!

Are portal class is rank 3
They will probably loosen up the admission requirements, when donors stop donating to NIL.
Tj did u ever get your one hundred dollar bet from the OSU fan that wanted to bet 3 month pay checks.
He actually wanted my fandom
How can you let him go?He went back to Alabama
25-13 michigan right now
Achemedis...
It won't happen until a player like a Jeremiah Smith wants to come here but he cant get in then it will guarantee change
TY Haywood is gone😩😤

There are no elite receivers in the portal. Some good ones, but not elite. Give the offense a year to develop with elite qb play and wr's will follow

@@Db-fu1to I think TJ said they are talking to someone on a playoff team right now
