Solid, informative analysis. Very excited for next season. Michigan plays like Champions for Sherrone Moore. Very good chemistry with the program right now and the Lindsey element adds a much needed yet complementary piece to help us get back to the playoff and more conf titles.
I like a 2 year, pikes peak or bust, plan. Next year gets a mulligan as long as Underwood sticks but Michigan is under pressure to deliver another N. championship, with it's top rated QB. I'd like to see 0 sacks in 2025. I'd put a OT on one of the ends and a tight end in the backfield. All about protection. I'd limit his running in 2025. Keeping Underwood healthy and happy, while he gets the experience he'll need in the 2026 season, should be top goal .
We all know that Kirk Campbell was way in over his head, and just wasn't a good OC. But to absolve Sherrone of our offensive issues and blame Campbell for most of the problems is ridiculous. I'm sure that Sherrone was very involved in all the game planning, so he should share in the blame.
It was a rebuilding year, which included finding out if Campbell could be his OC for the long-term, so I’m not surprised Moore didn’t start limiting Campbell’s influence earlier. This was the year to find out what he has and what needs to be upgraded. I bet he gave Campbell a lot of say and influence to find out if he’s that guy for him
What O-C-Chip Lindsey needs is a big, fast-down field vertical WR. That can open Michigan's offense and showcase Bryce Underwood's hizzoner arm! Always, GOBLUE🤘🏼& INSIGNABOWL#W🏆!
I agree with the point about our wr room. I don’t think we truly know how good our room is because of qb play. Mccauley Ammorion Walker, Semaj, Fred Moore, Kendrick Bell, Goodwin and Marsh. Plus you got Hansen, Klein and Preiskorn and some RBs who can catch the ball well. Most importantly two viable qb candidates
Exactly. I agree. I've been saying for weeks now that I'm fine with them going into spring with what they've got. I also think Peyton O'Leary is a good backup. We don't beat Ohio State without O'Leary scraping up a low Davis Warren pass up off the turf. I think McCulley, Bell, and Walker look decent at the X and then have Moore, Goodwin, and Marsh at the Z. Morgan, Stewart, and O'Leary could then play in the slot. You also have Browder in for spring though I don't think he's as college ready as Marsh probably is at this point. At any rate, if things aren't looking great after spring ball then maybe you grab someone in the spring portal. We also have Bredeson coming back so he'll eat up a spot in the lineup and they might have as many as four or even five tight ends that could be competing for playing time too.
I don't know what kind of offense Michigan will have under chip, and all I know is that if they don't throw the football enough, Bryce Underwood will hit the transfer portals.
Not at all confident that Bryce is going to like our offense. I can't imagine they want to run him with any regularity either if he gets to start at some point bc of injury.
I think Kirk Campbell was a fine QB coach but not a good oc. It seems like the timing of when harbaugh left hamstrung this team on the QB side but the play calling this year was not good.
WR Depth X: McCulley, Bell, Walker, Washington, Browder Y: PORTAL, Moore, O’Leary, Goodwin Z: PORTAL, Morgan, Charleston, Stewart Based off the new QB and OC, we’ll see some year to year progression. However, it’s worse at TE. Think they need another 2 WRs. One of them needs to be close to an alpha.
Thanks!
Thank you,
Go Blue!
Really appreciate that!!
Ayyooo Big pause on the spread and smash 😂😂
Lmfao holy smokes 😂
😂😂😂😂
They know what they’re doing lol
Right! 😅
Absolutely not. This is Michigan. We go right up the middle with it
Spread and Smash is what a Michigan Man does with a Wolverine Woman.

Spread and Smash is crazy 😂
The spread smash and plant when playing OSU
Chip Lindsey is an A+ hire
I don't think most Michigan fans realize how dangerous Bryce Underwood is as a runner. He looks like Vince Young with the ball tucked.
They compare underwood to a Vince Young coming out of HS
Spread and smash😂😂
We need to play smash mouth football. That’s what won us the Championship!! 👍🏼
I’ve been using the term “spread & smash” to describe my offense in CFB 25 lol

Last year Michigan didn't use the screen pass much? It kills clock & slows the pass rush all game.
0 sacks? You can't be serious.

I can’t believe there’s really about to be Chip on Chip violence for the next few iterations of The Game 😂

Power spread sounds like what happens when you try to spread cold butter on bread,...smash
Question....what does The Game mean now?

It’s going to look VERY different. I inside something similar to what Urban ran with JT Barrett
@@smh0825 Sounds like it.

@@jinorimo6090 Marsh
I wish O’Leary would add weight and be a TE. I think he would be great in the middle of the field
WR will be fine just watch....
470 a game with our defense is beating the NY giants 😂 (I’m just kidding)
I want us to get Dazmin James and Denver Harris out of the portal.
