I stumbled upon this commercial ad awhile ago and thought, “I like this trailer. I would’ve loved to have written the music for this.” So as an exercise, I rewrote/re-scored the trailer myself and that’s what your listening to now!

Big shout out to Kristin Simpson for laying down some solo violin + big thank you to Michael Bustamante for encouraging me to record my own recorder playing for the opening! What you hear is actually recorder layered with an ocarina.
I enjoyed writing this so much that I’m working on multiple pieces based off this track! I see this piece as an overture or opening suite to a mini album or EP. Stay tuned for more :)
